Please help me in fixing rotation problem in samung s5 (g900w8) - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have read too many posts and solutions but nothing have solved my s5 problem, which is not rotating.
I lost rotation after flashing a new rom on my s5 (actually suddenly after two weeks of installing the new rom).
I have to mention that if I removed the battery for more than a min, "sometimes" it works again but not for long time, and when the screen shut down it stops from rotating.
I downloaded cyanogenmod roms but also didn't fix it.
I tried to reset my phone using kies, and it worked back for one day, then stopped.
I also tried the method of replacing libgnustl_shared.so file in system/lib and changing permission (as described in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2644293), but it didn't work with me.
Please, I am so desperate to fix this problem. Anybody think it is a hardware problem?, if yes, why it works after restart with battery removal sometimes?
I am eager to solve this problem, and thanks for everyone who wants to help

Problem with touchscreen since 4.4.2 update

Hey there
A friend of mine has the following problem with his Note 3 (completely stock).
Since the latest 4.4.2 OTA update, sometimes suddenly the screen does not respond to touching it with your hand. It does react to the stylus.
Locking and unlocking the screen does the job, but only for a few minutes.
I wiped the phone via stock recovery, but the problem persists.
Anyone with the same problem, or maybe a clue?
Thanks!

Hi
Same problem here,I tried several 4.4.2 official and custom roms but not fixed and I tried these too:
I tried mega wipe and last rom in samfirmware!
I removed my external sd card
And I googled and found there are others with same problem so it shouldn't be hardware problem
p.s.When screen freezes just half of it works! And just doesn't work by fingers and it works by s_pen!
There no way to come back to 4.3 too
What should I do?
Ty in advance
Finally Solved!
Hi
I had same problem
I did everything u said like:
mega wipe and changing rom
custom roms
taking out battery when it's on ( I Did this but I don't know It had any effects on my phone or not!)
taking out external card
But I still Had the Problem
Solution:
But I had a flip cover and I separated that from phone and thanks God,surprisingly It's Fixed and it works like a charm!!! after that I used my original cover and there is no problem till now.
Good Luck
Had the same issue posted it here bit no one responded.
Solution: The flip case I had..there's a problem with it where it locks the screen even when the case is not closed. But lately I had no issue it just seem to gotten fixed by itself.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 Duos S7272 Hanging Issue

Hello,
First I'm sorry that I'm putting this in the wrong section but I didn't find anything related to Ace 3 Duos.
Here is the problem ... I bought a new device but it's hanging very much every single minute .
I installed the last firmware for it from SamMobile using odin v3.04 but still have this problem.
I tried everything Wipe Cash. Factory reset from booting window and also from the phone itself but nothing solved the problem.
It's keeping freezing many times and I don't really know what to do
So please if anyone can tell me how to fix this problem.

[Q] SM-G900F (Date & Time problem with [klte] 4.4.4 ROMS)

Hi all,
I've recently upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy S3 (i9300) to a Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F). Phone seemed to be working as desired so decided to go ahead, root, and install a custom ROM for enhanced functionality and customisation. Root process went smoothly, just running a simple CF-AutoRoot with Odin3 (voids KNOX, but no other problems), then installing PhilZ Advanced CWM Recovery.
From there I decided to install an unofficial build of CyanogenMod 11; found information on this forum. Flashing worked perfectly (and took rather little time!), but upon installation I noticed a strange problem. If I hard reboot (power off, power on) the device, with Wifi & Mobile Data off, the time and date are reset to incorrect values. Usually 01/01/xxxx and the time around 00:00. Same problem occurs even if when I turned off Network-allocated time and tried and set time manually.
The same problem occurred with other similar CyanogenMod based builds such as [AICP] and [AOSB]. I decided to restore back to the stock ROM and noticed that the clock and date were set correctly on reboot (and also on custom versions of 4.4.2 such as SpeedROMv7).
I checked with the terminal the value of the 'hwclock' (from BusyBox) and it reported an odd date somewhere in 1970, but different to the ones in found on CyanogenMod etc.
Does anyone have any idea what could cause this kind of problem and how to fix such an issue? If anyone wants any additional information about my device, please don't hesitate on commenting in this post. Would be grateful for any feedback. Thanks! :good:
PS: Also seem to be experiencing a problem with WiFi randomly disconnecting after a period of time. Not seen many threads with this said explicitly however. Problem with no voice in phone calls with headphones still persists but I've acknowledged that this is a known bug at the moment.

Same Issue.
I have been encountering this very same problem for a while now, in fact, I am expriencing the same issue with my Galaxy S4 (i9505). So this must really be an issue of the CM code I guess.
Any ideas on how to solve this would be welcome since it is a really annoying issue

Try removing battery for 10 seconds then put it back in, see if it works. If not, try reflashing a firmware
i tried reflashing it but giving me same errror..

This error appeared randomly or you had any issues flashing? Maybe you dropped it and caused hardware damage?
If it's a software issue, refreshing to your stock rom should fix it so if you have already tried that it is probably a hardware related issue.
Well pulling out the battery trick worked for me and my two friends with the same camera problem, I suggest it to others as will, please try it before going to the extreme of flashing firmware.
thank you guys it really helped me, I found that its hardaware issue and i solved now my phone's camera working fine ,thank you. once again,,

SM-N910S Auto Restart

Hello, so I've flashed this rom on my N910s using TWRP and my phone started restarting by itself.
The phone also does not open when it is not plugged in.
The only way I can get the phone to turn on is to keep it connected to a fast charger.
After doing some googling, I discovered that other people have experienced the same issue as me and that they were able to solve it by installing an application called "Wake Lock," however this did not work for me.
Because nothing else was working, I opted to flash stock rom, but the problem still persists.
I'd like some assistance in resolving this issue.
Is it possible to fix it by changing the battery, do I need to replace the motherboard, or is there a free option that I'm missing?
thanks in advance!
