Notification audio when screen off - Droid Turbo 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm not getting any notification audio playback when the screen if off. Anybody else seeing this? Really irritating to miss SMS and emails. Volume is all the way up, but the sound only plays when the screen is on. Do Not Disturb is disabled.
Edit: I'm on 6.0, but it started doing it on 5.1.1. Factory reset didn't fix it.

[Issue] Notification sounds randomly stop

I'm currently running PA 3.5 (Alpha with Halo), but this issue has been plaguing me for some time now. Randomly, all of my sound notifications will cease working until I reboot my phone. Incoming calls will still sound, as will my alarm, but text message, gtalk and email notifications will no longer sound. I've wiped, reflashed, etc. and it's still there. When this happens, I double check quiet mode (which isn't on), volumes, and every other setting that I can. I'm not sure where else to look, or what needs to be changed to prevent it from happening.
Thanks for any assistance.

System tones play twice.

I just bought a used Nexus 4 and this is my first Android device so I'm not sure if this is normal.
I flashed it to the newest stock 4.4 ROM today and TWRP.
When the phone plays a system tone (like pressing a menu button, typing on keyboard, etc.) for the first time you hear it twice, but overlapping, like the tone played and then a split second later it played again. If you continue to make sounds it doesn't do that anymore.
If I put the speaker up to my ear I can hear it hissing and then stop.
As soon as I hear the hissing stop it will do the double overlapping tone again if I make another tone.
My guess is every time the system needs to re-initialize the audio it's doing this.
Has anyone else encountered this or know of a fix?
I also noticed that if I have the phone in Silent Mode I can hear a "pop" from the speaker once in awhile when pressing the navigation menu buttons.
I turned off "Touch sounds" and the pop went away.
Anyone else have this problem?

Sound vibrate glitch

Hi guys. I'm running a completely stock Sprint Samsung S7 Edge with the latest December security update. I get this weird sound glitch once every few days or so. Sometimes when I open up the quick settings (scroll down from notification area) and press sound to switch to vibrate and then to mute, the sound goes nuts and keeps switching from mute to vibrate and then back to mute. The phone vibrates as it continues to do this for 10 seconds or so. So basically it's like it glitches temporarily. Anyone else seeing this? Of course I already tried a restart, but the bug appears every now and then.

Alarm sound not functioning properly help!

Hey,
Since I've had this phone I've overslept way too much, when the alarm goes off the sound is quiet although my alarm volume is turned all the way up. Now when the alarm is going off and I unlock my phone the sound instantly shoots up. I tried to disable v4a, but the issue still continues. I stream spotify to my Bluetooth speaker overnight. And the alarm goes through that and my phone speaker at the same time..? I used to have a z5 and when the alarm would go off the Bluetooth music would cut out and the alarm would only come through my phone speaker.
It's a serious issue, I don't know how to possibly fix this.
Its been like this since out of the box, had like 3 factory resets since, for unlocking bootloader and such so that won't help

Alarm and notification sounds turns off randomly

Hi.
I've encountered a problem two times now that I don't get any sound from my alarms and notifications. Just this morning I had 5 unheard alarms and a few notifications on my phone that went off silent. I did some testing with new alarms as well and they only showed up on screen. No sound. And yes, the volume is turned up?. The problem is resolved if I restart my device, but since it already happened twice, it will most certainly happen again. I should add that between the first and second time it happened I did factory reset the phone.
Anyone else having the same problem or have any tips I might try?
Since last update i got the same problem....
Glad I'm not the only one then? I also have the problem that makes the ear speaker really low so I have to use the other speaker to be able to hear a conversation.. This also happened after last update. I hope they resolve it soon.
Someone found solution for this ? I have the same problem now. My notification sounds goes off randomly...and my phone is set on sound, not vibration or mute.
When i press on the volume keys and check the sound level, the notification bar is on mute.
