Is any one else still waiting on the march ota update coming through? I have a 6p and a Nexus 9 and neither have received the update yet but I see a lot of people have received it.
Further more I have also registered my n9 for the android n beta 2 days ago and have still not received an update for that either.
Does Google just hate me and not want to send updates to my house or are other people waiting also?
Both phones are stock and never rooted. I'm in the UK
Just sideload the OTA, and you won't have to wait any longer. Link to the 6P OTAs...

I was running the N preview via OTA. I opted out of the beta and instantly got the OTA to go back to Marshmallow. Once I booted into Marshmallow, I got the OTA for the March build.

anyone know if google pulled the OTA update due to issues.? its been three weeks now and my stock nexus 4 hasn't received it. i bough it directly from google so i though they would be the first devices updated. i don't want to update it manually with the OTA files in case there are any issues with it

If you sideload the OTA it's exactly the same as if Google had pushed it to you. Just fyi. I'm not sure if they canceled the ota but I've been on lollipop since they released the ota files with no issues after a sideload.
No, they didn't. I received OTA a week ago, as have some of my friends (Serbia).
after hearing about nexus 4 issues like with texting i wanted to wait until google delivers it to my phone, i already loaded the OTA on my nexus 4 2012 so it would be easy for me to do
I'm on the last release of the beta, stock beta.
I took my Nexus off the beta... But I'm not getting any OTA updates.... Am I stuck on the beta now? I thought I would get the new version people are talking about from the other day.
God.... I don't want to ADB flash it.
Flashing has gotten so much more complicated the last couple years. And with all the talk about people bricking, I don't want to take any risks.
I apologize if this has been asked already, any useful information gets buried so fast these days.
Maybe I'm just getting old. ****.

The ota rolls out in stages. Give it time, youll get it
Okay. Thanks. That's sort of what I was thinking. But I couldn't find anything that said I would go forward out of the beta and not wiped and back to mm

I installed NRD90M through beta and immediately un-enrolled.
Do i need to re-enroll in beta to get the NRD90U OTA update ?

No, the OTA will come to your device soon and if you can`t wait flash the firmware in fastboot.
So I was running marshmallow previously, once the nougat patch came out I didn't want to wait for a carrier OTA update so i signed up for the Nexus developer program to receive the update. Once I got it I opted out. A month's gone by and I noticed that I haven't gotten the September security patch. I don't know if it's my carrier or Google. Is there a step by step guide to install the patch without wiping my phone.

Opt in again?

I'm running 7.0 stock unrooted on my 6P and thinking of opting-in to the 7.1.1 dev preview. Will that cause any problems or delays with getting the official release when it becomes available to us? Will I have to wipe my phone when installing/upgrading to the official release, similar to opting-out of the DP?
No, it shouldn't cause any problems. You'll just get an OTA of the final 7.1 and that's that.

Correct I think they just release it by region as soon as the new was released I received it that day as others waited about a week.
I'm on beta.

I guarantee it will be a problem. Last tine I tried it for nougat everyone said there was no issue. A month and a half later I realized why I was stuck without an uodate. They don't have upgrade tracks from dev to release. Unless you're fine with flashing the OTA via ADB, don't do it.

To my knowledge, you're the exception to the rule. Before it got recalled, only those got Nougat for their 6Ps who were in the beta program.

Can a rooted stock 7.0.0 install this Feb patch? I see that update notice too.
The OTA can certainly easily be sideloaded on a rooted Nexus - you'll need to root again after the update. I've never tried the direct OTA, so I'm not sure - I've seen conflicting information on whether it works or not. If you try, the worst that will happen is that it will fail and you'll be back where you started - if you're running systemless root it may work, and if your root has changed the system partition the OTA will just stop without changing anything.
