If record don't work at all verify in settings/Storage reset that you have no Network Storage connected from your computer ! That fixed the issue for me !
And if you have an external hd, the files are on it at :

*UPDATE: Both the Galaxy S4 Mini LTE and international 3G variants now have official nightlies & stable 10.1.3! Get them at http://get.cm/?device=serranoltexx and http://get.cm/?device=serrano3gxx respectively.
This thread is to discuss any issues you may have or bug reports to raise regarding the CM10.1 nightlies AND stable versions for the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini LTE variant (GT-I9195) only.
Opened this thread so that newbies can also post their issues here, as well as to keep the release thread clean for development-related discussions only.
** DO NOT USE THE JIRA BUG TRACKER TO REPORT BUGS FOR NIGHTLIES!
Sir arco68 has suggested that all bugs still be reported here despite having a stable version as it is a more central location to view and see bug reports.

How to install CM10.1
Root and install using ONLY CWM recovery (available here: [RECOVERY][ROOT] Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini LTE (GT-I9195))
Copy all the files you downloaded for CM10.1 (From http://get.cm) into your SD card along with the Google Applications (Optional, recommended - get the latest one for CM10.1.x)
Boot into CWM (Vol Up + Home just as the phone is booting up, navigate using Vol btns, HOME to select, POWER to back)
Make a backup of your NANDroid (Optional - Do this if you wish to return to your previous ROM)
Select "wipe data/factory reset" and press Yes
Select wipe cache partition" and press Yes
Flash cm-10.1-2013xxxx-XXX-serranoltexx.zip file FIRST (or RC or stable)
Then flash gapps (Optional)
Notes
When upgrading between CM10.1 versions, you still need to flash the gapps module after upgrading as /system is wiped.
Notes about updating to latest stock FW before flashing custom ROMs
Screenshot is Vol-Down + Home in CM10.1
The ROM comes with a Superuser app. You don't need to install another one.
When installing themes which appear to be improperly compiled, apply the default system theme and reboot and try again.
CM10.1 doesn't come with an FM Radio app.

"Changing brightness will crash settings" did not issued on my device.
Changing language does, however, crash settings.
Also the battery seems to be draining faster than stock OS, for some reasons.
The number display format issues is still there I have no idea how to change it.
In messages, use dark theme setting is ignored.
I also after half day of usage noticed my phone keep unlocking in my pocket, I don't have any special unlock features enabled like home button or so, is this normal?
Later edit: Quick-toggle for brightness will not always work - I cannot reproduce, there was one time that ignored now works fine after many tries and flashes. Safe to remove.
Sorry that was a mistake on my part in copying down the issue.
I've added your other findings to the list
Will be trying the alpha ROM this weekend as well so I'll try to reproduce your issues!
Quick-toggle for brightness will not always work [1]
you can remove this never happened again. can't remember how it happened anyway
Can someone help me port it for i9192?
the dual chip version?
I want so much to see CM on my cellphone
I am using this build since this morning so far we get along, if I can improve battery life a little will be my perfect os.
Also I cannot find that option to enable "clear sound" or something like that, I don't hear people as clear as I heard them with stock 4.2.2 samsung os...
Do you mean Samsung's Adapt Sound feature?
I believe that it won't be added because it is a Samsung proprietary feature
No there was another feature, Noise Suppression or something...
Also the format storage card option still missing, is an app that does that?
I've added the missing format SD card option.
Can't seem to find the sound option you are talking about on my stock rom (build MFA) though
i think the bug of use dark theme in message is not actually a bug. i think maybe it is the same as cm10.1 in Wonder. the dark theme is apply for quick reply only ( if you enable it, and not use privacy message ). not the whole message app. try to confirm this

yes genius you are right, after a close lookup I saw this. So no bug there.
On the other hand, battery is killing me. With stock os I ran a full day moderate usage. With this one at 4 pm I had to recharge no battery draining apps in fact no third app installed yet.

Ah, the good old battery drain issue. No phone goes without it. I'd recommend giving the battery a couple of recharge cycles and then see. When switching roms, the battery is always behaving a bit erratic at first. Also, check with BetterBatteryStats if there's something keeping a wake lock.

I'll look into this.
arco it the crash on changing language sure happens. however I did remove the default ime with swifkey, so I guess is reaching for it's keyboard. Also I removet velvet, and everything voice search related or search related. Maybe this could be the issue, it doesn't bother me so much.
regarding the phone number format, i wiped /data and selected romanian at boot. It's a system wide setting not a contact issue as I can see, all numbers are displayed that way, phone dialer, messages, agenda, incoming/outgoing calls, etc.
Also with the unlock issue I have this phone for a month I never got it unlocked in my pocket and today happened 3 times.
I am not trying to do anything bad here, I am just using this rom and I want to see it perfect as you and we all do.
My biggest problem on this rom and I am sure other users doesn't have it ... remains this phone number display thing. It's quite hard, because I am used in 15 years oh phone usage with a format, and now when I have to dictate a number or look into it it confuses me, even if it's the same number but those spaces are killing my habbits
Working great
I just installed this ROM and I have not ran into any bugs and I didn't notice any battery drainage. I'm unsure as what the cause is for most of the other users. I however had one slight issue which I resolved by allowing the default file manager root access, the issue was that I could not access my SD card through any normal file explorer. Other than that I'm enjoying this ROM keep up the good work!
Thanks arco68 for this early release and all the hard work you've done
No issues yet apart from one where i couldn't edit any contacts and kept saying "google something has stopped working" and keyboard wouldn't show up. But sorted itself out after a while and now is working fine.
I don't like that we cant change the theme of contacts and messages to a dark one like it is on call logs etc.. White looks out of place
Regardless great stuff arco68
@btnetro: You could maybe give the exact language you changed from and to (English -> Romanian)?
Also, try creating a new contact when your phone book is empty but your regional settings set to Romanian. Does the number issue still crop up?
Also, on your connection to computer issues, try restarting your computer and plug it in a different USB port. Or try another computer. Only post if you are absolutely certain its an issue with the ROM.
You seem to be having bugs specific to you, which could also mean that he procedure in which you installed the custom ROM was not right. Have you tried a reflash, following all the steps arco68 posted on his thread?
I won't be putting up all your issues on the OP unless someone else is also having the unique issues you are having - perhaps some users would like to try to reproduce the issues he is having as well?

I'm having the same issue as you regarding the SD card. May I know how you granted root access to the default file manager? The Superuser app provided with the latest rootkit doesn't seem to have that option to manually add apps.
EDIT: Hmm, a reboot seems to have fixed my issue. But could you still put your steps here in case anyone else has the same issue?
EDIT2: Found the steps:
Open File Manager, press Menu, Settings->General Settings->Access Mode
Choose Root Access Mode

Hello. Did I understand you correctly, that you applied the rootkit after installing CyanogenMod? If so, that's not necessary, and will obviously cause lot's of issues. Superuser app is already included in CyanogenMod.

[ROM] Sero 7 Pro - AOSP 6.0.1 - DoPa6 v1-bld3

DoPa6 v1 build 3 is the Marshmallow ROM for Sero 7 Pro owners worldwide.
This build, based on AOSP 6.0.1 r43, focuses on features that must be built in and can't be added on such as selective overclocking and multiple formatting options for your SDcards.
For those who want to customize the ROM's look and feel, Xposed and Gravity Box come pre-installed to provide all the tweaks you want - and none of the ones you don't.
DoPa6 also offers a companion build of TWRP v3.0.2 (DoPa6 v2). Based on Marshmallow code, this new version offers an updated look and feel plus a few Sero 7-specific tweaks.
Installation
backup your data so you can easily return to your current ROM
- initial installation: wipe your '/data' partition (a "Factory reset" in TWRP will work)
- upgrade from previous DoPa6: no need to wipe or format anything
install sero7pro-aosp601-dopa6-v1-bld3.zip
install your choice of Gapps packages
(optional)install the Nexus 7 spoof
reboot
Note: after using this ROM, TWRP 2.8.7 will report that it can't mount '/thirdparty'. This is to be expected since that partition is now used for swap space. You can safely ignore this warning. (TWRP 3.0.2 does not have this problem.)
Important: please do not report any bugs you encounter the first time you boot-up after installation. Instead, please reboot then see if the problem persists. If so, let me know so I can (try to) fix it.
Downgrade
If you decide to return to a previous version of a DoPa ROM (i.e. Kitkat or Lollipop) after using DoPa6, you must reformat the '/thirdparty' partition as ext4. This will restore compatibility with the older version - without it, previous versions won't boot. You can do so directly using TWRP 3.0.2 or by installing sero7pro-format-thirdparty.zip (links below).
Notes
Memory Features - users can enable/disable key memory features to suit their needs. Open Settings->Performance->Configure RAM options and change these items as appropriate:
Dynamic fsync - cache writes to flash memory until the screen goes off [excessive memory use]
Kernel same-page merge - scan for and merge blocks of kernel memory that have the same content [overhead]
Disk-based swap file - use the '/thirdparty' partition to add 256mb of virtual memory [possible i/o contention]
Low-ram mode - employ the memory-saving tactics normally used on a device with only 512mb of memory [reduced graphics capabilities]
Low-ram graphics - reenables accelerated drawing that low-ram mode disables [significant increase in RAM usage]
Note: all of the system properties used by previous versions to set these features are now obsolete and have been removed from 'build.prop'; do not restore them.
ADB Over WiFi - to access ADB with having to install any drivers, open Settings->Performance and check "Enable ADB access via WiFi". At a command prompt/terminal, run "adb connect <your.tablet's.ip.address>". You should now be able to run any adb command. Note that this setting is not saved: ADB Over WiFi will be disabled when you reboot.
External Storage - this ROM now supports two types of external storage:
portable - your sdcard is used for storing non-secure data (music, photos, etc.). It remains compatible with any device that supports the filesystem you've chosen.
adoptable - the sdcard becomes your "internal sdcard": besides storing app data and media, you can also move entire apps to the card. Because the card is encrypted, it is incompatible with any other device.
The first time you insert a card, there is an option in the Notifications pull-down to set up the card. Alternately, you can open Settings->Storage and USB, select the card, then tap the menu button for setup options. If you choose Format as internal, the card will be formatted F2FS and encrypted; you'll then be given the opportunity to move your data to it. Choosing the Format option displays a screen that lets you choose the filesystem to be used (fat32, exfat, ntfs, f2fs, or ext4). Be aware that both options repartition the card and destroy all existing data on it.
Multi-Window - To enable it, open Settings->Developer Options, then scroll down to the "Drawing" section. Multi-window mode is the last item in that category.
Known Bugs
Encryption - attempts to encrypt the '/data' partition will fail but no data is lost because the process never really gets started; the problem appears to lie in the kernel and may take a while to resolve
Large SDcards - Class 10 32gb and 64gb sdcards may not be recognized or may be reported to be corrupt; this issue was also reported for Lollipop
Bluetooth - Bluetooth Low Energy profiles are not supported
Downloads
sero7pro-aosp601-dopa6-v1-bld3.zip - the ROM
sero7pro-gapps-dopa6-v1-bld3.zip - a "nano" Gapps package compatible with this build
sero7pro-nexus7spoof-dopa6-v1-bld3.zip - have the ROM report that this is a Nexus7 - only for use with DoPa6 v1 bld 2
sero7pro-twrp302-dopa6-v2.zip - a customized version of TWRP Recovery v3.0.2
sero7pro-format-thirdparty.zip - use this if you plan to downgrade from DoPa6 to a previous version (no longer needed if using TWRP 3.0.2)

Nice. I am behind on stuff due to being sick the past few weeks so I'll install this build and see what I notice within the next day or two. I do wonder perhaps since the Nexus 7 (Grouper) has semi official MM that stuff like Bluetooth, DRM, etc can be fixed from that source?

Not necessarily. We're working from the same source code but in most cases the hardware is different. For BT, the hardware is the same (BCM4330) but the firmware is different. I tried using the N7's firmware and that eliminated the crashes - but it wouldn't connect to anything, so that wasn't much help. As to DRM, I haven't read of any problems but that could just mean that no one has tried. At some point I'll try swapping in some of their proprietary files (as I've done in the past) and see if that fixes anything.
Speaking of fixes... I made some massive changes to the kernel and now have external storage working (this took at least 60 hours to achieve). Once I have exFat support in place, I'll release an update.

amazing
Thank You DoloresPark!
it runs amazing for the first release. I flashed the new twrp, gapps, and the ROM from my USB memory stick without any issues. No problems downloading, uploading, notifications, it's great.
see my photos here:
http://sero7forum.com/sero-7-root-h...ro-aosp-6-0-0-dopa6-v0/msg8392/?topicseen#new
I can't get the update to flash. I get to the lockscreen, swipe to open, and all I can get is a black screen and the error message " unfortunately setup wizard has stopped". I've reflashed a couple times.
Ok. I got it flash. It took 17 min. to boot up. I could of fried an egg on the back of my tablet. But it's fine now! runs great.
Thanks! Looks great!
So, do we know if xposed and gravity box works on this build yet?
Edit: Never mind. I don't suppose there will be a Gravity Box for Marshmallow for a while.

v0 build2 released
Now that everything works (sorta), DoPa6 - Marshmallow for the Sero 7 Pro - has entered its beta-testing phase. It would be really helpful if you could try it out and tell me what glitches you encounter.
For example, I know that Launcher FCs when you rotate the tablet, and that the "Memory" figures displayed in the Settings app are all wrong, but what else? Does the thing spontaneously reboot? Is WiFi unreliable? Do apps lag? Et cetera, et cetera...
Truth is, I spend so much time screwing with the thing that I don't get to use it as much as you do. If it doesn't generate an error message in a logcat, I might never know something's wrong.
Auto-rotate issue
dolorespark - Thanks for the great rom. I'm really impressed with what this older hardware can do.
The only issue I'm seeing right now is that my auto-rotate only works occasionally. I originally noticed this problem with build 1 and I'm using build 2 and the problem is still there. If I switch from portrait to landscape the display will not turn. If I turn off the tablet while it's in portrait and power it back on in landscape it will display in landscape. When I originally noticed this I thought that the sensor might have stopped working but I used a hardware info app and I can see the changes as I rotate the tablet. I don't know if any logs would help with this but I'm willing to try if you need them.
Hi,
Over the week-end I had a brief try with your marshmallow ROM, it apparently installed OK, and appeared to be running fine once it settled down after a couple of
reboots.
There was an oddball thing happened though which may not be relative to your build (could be other causes) ... Marshmallow took a dislike to my 64GB SD card I got a
message saying the card had not been prepared, and did I want to do this ? (or words to that effect), I OK'd the preparation and it did it's stuff, next I had a
pop-up saying the card couldn't mount as it was corrupted (it had been OK when running in lollipop). At first it appeared as if the card was a write off, but I eventually got it
restored after running Chkdsk /R on the windows PC, strange thing is now it wont mount in the Sero 7, but mounts OK in 2 separate allwinner tablets we have in family,
2 separate identical SD cards do mount no problems in the Sero 7. (now back on Lollipop).
I think you said initially that there was problems with storage, could my issue be down to that ?.
I liked what I saw of marshmallow (great on this older hardware), but admit I didn't spend much more time on assessment of it, I was diverted into recovering the SD
card, and as I've said restored my Lollipop backup. ... J.

Everyone with a Nexus 7 has been reporting this problem. I've only seen it once when I killed the Launcher while in Settings->Apps but I haven't been able to reproduce it. As mentioned in the OP, I get FC's in Launcher when I rotate. However, I've found an odd "cure"...
I wanted to see if the FC problem was specific to Launcher3 or more generic, so I installed Apex. After switching to it, I was able to rotate without problem, so I went back to stock and discovered that the problem had disappeared. Even after I uninstalled Apex and cleared Launcher3's data so I was back to the default home screen, I didn't get any FCs

I don't think this is new. Several people mentioned intermittent problems with 64GB sdcards on Lollipop (Samsung in particular, IIRC). This is one thing I can't test because I don't have (or need) anything bigger than 16GB. Sorry...

I loaded Apex and auto-rotate still doesn't work. I installed 'Rotation Control' which allows me to easily rotate the display so I can live with it for now. I haven't seen any FC's in the Launcher or anything else at this point.

Thanks ,,, no problem point taken, and thinking back I agree. SD card soon fills up when you store video files as I do that's the main reason for the 64GB card.

* conventional - your sdcard is used for storing data - currently only Fat32 and exFat are supported
* adoptable - the sdcard becomes an extension of internal storage and can store apps and data. The first time you insert a card, there is an option in the Notifications pull-down to set this up. Alternately, you can open Settings->Storage and USB, select the card, then tap the menu button for setup options. Note that the card gets formatted and encrypted, and can't be used with any other device until reformatted.

I never got the prompt nor do I have the setup option for the adoptable, all that is in the menu/settings is Eject and Format, am I missing something?

SUCCESS ... but "Move to SD Card" Issue
Downloaded the file; installed the full update successfully.
Having few issues with the new UI/OS though
- foremost is that i seem to have lost the "Move to SD Card" option for apps completely !
Even though my default save location is set to SD card, new apps gets installed in Internal storage only; and for the already installed ones, the "Move to SD Card" button is nowhere to be seen
Everyone has the same issue?
---
I hope its a bug which would be fixed soon rather than a feature we have to live with.

Yes of course, there are a plenty of Apps available, but NONE WORKS in our situation.
They don't work for the simple reason - app2sd kind of apps basically take us to the system storage settings where we need to click the "move to SD" button - and that button is not to be seen in our situation. SO, NO MOVE TO SD POSSIBLE.
No issues with SD card detection - it shows up in file manager, my camera pics still gets stored there - its just the app installation for which the sd card seem to be unavailable...
... and a whole bunch of apps that used to be previously installed in the SD card have kinda 'disappeared' - i mean, i can still see the ghost app folder if i browse to the SD card using a file manager, but the App itself isn't installed and doesn't show up in the list of installed apps.

Hi there,
I'm on B313 PLK-L01 (EU version), and I was able to install Spotify (incl. offline downloads) to the SD card. I selected SD card for Default location, restarted the phone, and installed Spotify. Later I reverted it back to internal storage, as I want the SD card for Spotify music, mostly.
It worked, my Spotify folder in the SD card (Android/data/com.spotify.music) currently contains almost 5GB, and the one on internal memory is empty. So there is hope, at least.

Hi guys
Just noticed another bug with the new UI/OS
I usually save all my phonebook contacts on my google account (like many android users, im guessing)...
In the contacts settings, we used to have an option to "display only contacts with phone numbers" ...or something similar - remember?
That seems to be missing now.
So, what happens is, when i set my phonebook to display my google account contacts, i get like 1000+ contacts from gmail (with email addresses, WITHOUT phone numbers). These are NOT unwanted entries - i need their email addresses for communicating and stuff - i just don't want them to be displayed in my phonebook)
...and i guess that's exactly why the feature of "display only contacts with phone numbers" was brought in. AND THAT SEEMS TO BE MISSING IN THE CURRENT OS/UI.
---
I SINCERELY HOPE THAT DEVELOPERS @ HUAWEI ARE AWARE / TAKING NOTE OF THESE BUGS AND WORKING ON FIXES
---
May be i should get in to the huawei forums and post these thing there ...? Yeah, that makes sense ... i will try.

Infrequently used modes, like document readjustment, are presented as plug-ins to save internal memory on your phone. • Contacts Customization and sharing features added to name cards. The sharing feature allows quick sharing of contacts through Bluetooth, Facebook, and other methods. Added a scanner to the search box and lock screen, making it easier to add new contacts. • Email Improved how unread emails are tagged in the inbox. Now, your phone is more capable of adjusting to your habits. Added a newly designed drawer feature. When this feature is enabled, it hides non-system preset apps in a drawer on the home screen, presenting you with a simple and tidy layout. Added a new drawer feature for settings. For settings that take two or more steps to set up, the user can now jump directly back to the main settings page with one gesture. Emergency information added. Users can add their names, blood type, and other information, so emergency services personnel can view this information from the lock screen. Added App twin, a feature that allows users to log in to two different accounts for third-party apps such as WhatsApp and Facebook. [Update notes] 1. EMUI 5.0 includes substantial changes to functionality, which may impact your usage habits. For more details, go to Huawei's consumer website at consumer.huawei.com, and check out our user guide. 2. This update will not erase your personal data, but we recommend that you back up any important data before updating. 3. The system will restart after the update. This will take about 10 minutes. Following the update, your home screen will automatically display the EMUI 5.0 theme. 4. If you encounter any issues while using EMUI 5.0, please document the issue and call our official helpline. Just an FYI for anyone trying to install this, on FRD-L04C567B162 I get an error "Software install failed! Incompatibility with current version".
NFC is working for me. Just made a purchase with Android Pay.
So is the update live for all beta testers? I sent my IMEI information over for the beta but never got a response back. (I had asked if we would be notified.)
Edit: Yep, it's live now. Woo!

i guess we need to upgrade to previous version than the updater can upgrade to latest software..in this case the firmware must be on FRD-L04C567B316 ver.. If we look into this there are 2 more upgrade able version for our device..but these are only my thought because when i had this device for 1st time its upgrade twice to FRD-L04C567B162 version..
So the upgrade process required previous ver. of software...
edit:nah, still failed...lol
Notification Icons
Is anyone else not able to show notification icons anymore in the Status Bar? All I see in settings is the option to show a number or show nothing at all...

I'm noticing on the beta that the camera now crashes 100% of the time, as does the Downloads app. Anyone else seeing this?
Camera app works fine for me. Downloads also opens without an issue. I took the OTA, and did a factory reset, though. I honestly haven't had any issues with it. Though I don't like the numbers notification thing. But other than that. everything else seems good on my end.

I'll be honest I wouldn't have minded the number if it wasn't on every single notification. Would have been perfectly fine if it showed the number cause you had more than 3 or 4 notifications.
No luck here. I'm getting the error "Software install failed! Incompatibility with current version".
I'm curious if this is because of the different SOC.
I can see on CPU-Z that my unit is Kirin 955. Perhaps this is the reason.

It's been found that if you are on B162 you will get a "Software install failed! Incompatibility with current version" error. So, what firmware do you need to be on before going to the beta N 7.0? I am on B162, and have not unlocked bootloader, flashed twrp, or rooted yet.

I hope theres a fix for it. I read the the problem is with twrp that "it patches the files first then twrp removes it when it flashes the new system.img so therefor it's removed."

Hi! I'm hoping someone could help me out with a few questions.
I have a OnePlus 3 (A3003) running FreedomOS-CE-2.17 on Android 7.1.1 and I would like to install this ROM but I'm not sure how to proceed. I see people talking about firmwares and whatnot and I'm not exactly sure what I'd be doing. Could someone hold my hand and walk me through it?
Also, does Magisk cloak work? I really need Android Pay and Snapchat to work. I'd rather not have root and have those apps work than have root and be without them.
(had issues posting, sorry if it's a double-post)

No one can hold your hand man, in android/TWRP world you go and try things, as corny as it sounds. Thinking of a perfect scenario, and hoping nothing ever get's lost and everything always works means not trying anything new ever. Was this a lession on flashing roms, or life in general... not sure I've lost track lol.

I did that and it caused a few issues so I wouldn't recommend it. I had issues with a white horrible shadow on all the icons and also it lagged a bit in games.

I have a few issues with this build.
I take it there is no Dash Charge?
It lags a little but not really noticeable to cause an annoyance.
Google Pay wont pass the Safety Net check with Magisk 16.0.
Rounded corners no longer work where as they did before on the old build.
Scanner app does not work with loading the camera.
Yes I did a clean flash.
This is a great ROM but just needs a few things fixing.

Fair enough. Still don't know if I have to reflash firmware or what steps to take. Somewhere to point me in the right direction and I'll be fine. Just trying to do my due dillegence before making a stupid mistake for no good reason.
Other than SafetyNet being broken, ROM is pretty solid. The ROM is a little less fluid than Oreo ROMS but I am going to give this a shot for a while. Great work and looking forward to the next update.
