Hey
i have a problem. I flashed the 6.0.1 via fastboot last monday and untill friday everthing was fine. But suddenly my phone was off. Completly off. I can not make a restart only when i plug in the usb carger. Then reboot and after i'm in the mobile network, shutdown again. So i flashed the update again via fastboot and for a day everthing was fine, but now again.
I unlocked the bootlaoder and install marshmallux. After I put i my two sims and enter my pins, my MXP was off again!
same with twrp, i can only access it when I plug i the phone.
Does somebody has an idea? I'm in germany and had the 6.0 ds fireware before
I have heard about that shutdown problem on some Moto X Plays. I never experienced it on my X Play though. I think it could be a hardware or kernel problem, but I might be wrong. In your place I would wipe the phone and flash stock 6.0 through fastboot. Then use it for some time and see if shutdowns happen again. So you can see what caused the problem.
flash 6.0.1 again through RSD LITE
i have this problem only when i use lionfish governor with squid kernel; maybe its a kernel problem that u have

That was my thougt, too. I think it have something to do with the modems. These shutdowns only happen with LTE or 3G.
My bootloader is unlocked, can I flash 6.0 in fastboot without bootloader and the gpt file?
It happened to me too, 6.0.1 brazil ROM with squid 15b and lionfish gov. I am currently using 6.0.1 india, also with squid 15b and lionfish gov. Nothing so far with that. I suspect the kernel, really, since the LED also stopped working with 6.0.1. Some kind of edge case.
Can confirm that it's fine with 15b of kernel and interactive governor. Lionfish makes the phone unresponsive. It's still on as it can be called but it does not wake up.
Does anybody have an idea ? I happen only in 3G/LTE not in Wlan. And I think only when the network is bad. At the time my phone is unusable

Hi. I'm having wifi issues with my Nexus. It started after flashing MIUI. I was using TWRP to flash, it took a while for the google logo to disappear and to get to the Xiaomi bootlogo. After it finally booted, the wifi was stuck to "turning on", but never ultimately firing up(couldn't get it to turn on nor off, even having turning it off). I've also noticed that I have the same EXACT issue with CyanogenMod. I completely returned to stock, i've relocked the bootloader and everything. I tried CM installer today and i'm rooted again with CM, but still I have the same exact issues as before. I don't have these issues with some other roms such as stock, official Omnirom and such, i wouldn't think it would be exactly a hardware issue, since it works just fine with certain roms. Would anyone have an idea why my phone is having this issue? It wasn't always this way. Specifically, I haven't been having issues with 4.4 roms. Does anyone think it could be something related to bootloader, or something?

i have a similar problem... i rooted my nexus and flashed a custom rom (PACman) when it boots wifi is disabled, also bluetooth doesnt work neither any sounds, no music, no speaker, nothing, so i flashed Paranoid android (both based on 4.3) and i had the same problem
so then i flashed stock, everything ok, then CrDroid (based en 4.4) everything ok, then OmniRom (Based on 4.4) everything ok too...
i posted it here and got no replies, hope someone could help
Yes, right now I'm running an unofficial CM 11, and no issues. I wonder if something needs to be downgraded, in order for things to be okay again. I would still like the option to be able to run 4.2/4.3 based roms. Maybe I could try flashing to stock 4.2 or 4.3, then reroot, and test my results

What radio/baseband version are you using?
Hi, I'm using AOKP last nightly builds and since 2013-10-18 Wi-Fi started to stuck, settings ui errors and other problems. So I just tried franko kernel with official AOKP releases and Wi-Fi now is working fine. But i've faced skype problems). After 4 minutes it hangs and i need to restart my phone.
Good evening, just a quick ( I hope) question
Recently came from stock rooted 5.1.1 to a 6 rom.
Ever since then my phone lags then shuts down, sometimes reboots sometimes not. I put this down to the rom. However it does it on every single one I have tried. It is also doing it on stock firmware flashed via odin and rooted via cf auto root, any ideas? Hardware issue? faulty bl? Currently on the unofficial cm12 (5.1.1) but still having the same issue though not as badly. Any help would be appreciated.
Also, youtube is how shall I say, funky. Some videos play fine, others say network error. This is on both wifi and 4g. Again, only recently is it doing this which makes me think software rather than hardware issues
Hello there!
My boyfriend is experiencing random reboots on his OnePlus 2. (He doesn't have an account here, so that's why I'm writing instead.)
He is running the latest LineageOS, though has had the reboots since the build from Jan 31st. He has root active and is also running the latest Boeffla Kernel.
Weirdly enough we can't pinpoint what is causing the reboots and they seem to happen more frequently in the mornings (when he's at work) than in the afternoons/evenings (when he's home). This morning alone he had four reboots shortly one after another.
It also seems to happen more frequently when the WiFi is turned on but not connected. When the WiFi is turned off completely it also happens, but not so often. When WiFi is connected, the reboots seem to stop?
He suspects it has something to do with LineageOS, as he was on OxygenOS previously (before the official LOS builds got released) and didn't have any issues. I found in the forums here it could have something to do with the firmware version 3.5.6 and reverting back to 3.1 or something would stop the random rebooting? (Unfortunately I have found nothing on how to determine your firmware version, but his Baseband version is MPSS.BO.2.6.2.c1-00072-M8994FAAAANAZM-1.82470.1, if that helps?)
So I just wanted to ask if anybody is experiencing the same and if you can confirm the firmware change helps or if you found any other solutions for this?
Thanks a bunch!
Confirmed for me! Changing back to 3.1.1 firmware stopped the reboots

Can you just flash the 3.1.1 firmware or do you need to take any precautions? Anything you need to know before flashing?

It seems to have done the trick. Thank you very much!
Glad if I helped. It was bugging me for awhile as well, although I coped with it by turning off WiFi when I was away from home. Never rebooted for me if I turned it off, but this is much better. I have no real need for volte anyways, so no loss here.
Hi,
For some reason my phone is booting to TWRP every time I try to Power On the phone or charge my phone while its turned off. I am facing this for these couple of weeks. I don't think I did any sort of change to device. It started to happen all of the sudden. The problem started on Stock TouchWiz 5.0. So I thought maybe flashing custom rom may fix it. So I tried to flash AospExtended ROM and the problem is still not gone. On top of it the phone also reboots randomly and boots to recovery. The frequency of the reboots on Stock TW was low but in Custom ROM it is frequent. I didn't tried flashing stock firmware yet for now because I don't have access to my PC yet.
Please can anyone help me with the problem. My phone is SM-G530H running on XCU1BPB1 Firmware.
Thanks
Just flash the stock rom using odin everything will be fine

Hi
I have a problem with my op2. At some point it got very slow in reaction. That happens everywhere in the system when phone is running, in recovery mode and during booting.
When that happened I was using cyanogen with some kernel on TWRPl. However I never changed any CPU or GPU settings like frequencies or so. I installed kernel just see what settings does it have..
After that I tried few different configurations.. Oxygen on stock recovery, cm on stock, or each of them on TWRP. Always same issue..
At the moment I installed the freshest oxygen from oneplus website on TWRP. also I have kernel just tk see if temperatures and CPU and GPU speeds are fine. I can see any issue there.
I would like to ask if anyone had this issue and maybe someone will know how to fix it.
I am considering buying new logic (main/mother) board but first I want to know of there is any wat to fix it through ADB or any other" software way".
I'm attaching the movie with how my phone works
