It seems my unit has a problem on the back glass left to the camera. If you press that spot, the glass bends a bit and makes a loud pop sound, making it feel pretty low quality. I guess there must be a gap between the glass and the frame. Didn't drop it or anything. Did play a lot of VR making the phone very hot!

Cool, maybe I should embed a poll or something, just to see if this is a one off or a common problem. It is rather hard to notice though, because you have to press on the right spot.

Ok I make a lot of phone calls on my cell phone for long period's of times and I know the oil's on my face are on the phone a lot.I wanted to know is the glass protecting the proximity sensor? I mean like is the sensor under it? I just don't want the thing to break but I do have the stock screen protector they provided you with on the phone. Also is there a way to break the proximity sensor? Thanks

word of thought: if everything still functions, there's nothing to worry. after all, worrying too much and making every little thing matter often leads to breaking your devices. leave it as it is if it's not causing trouble.

That button summons the android. Final fantasy style
I thought that button is the last step after turning your phone into airplane via Airplane mode. I'll try now and let you know.
Edit: Tried it, and... left wing came out, and then I heard scream and green juice flew out of phone... guess it was too much for the little Android inside...

Every AT&T user by now probably knows about the "feature" that protects your touchscreen from constant touch input from a waterdrop, right?
For every one of us that looove using our phone while swimming *sigh*.
Know why they implemented it? To protect your phone? No. Because of lazy, poor and dumb "copy & paste" engineering work.
Moto devs copied this "feature" from Defy:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOHxx3P-YdU&noredirect=1
Only thing they forgot is that the Atrix IS NOT a waterproof phone.
Cool story bro.
I feel so cool by saying that. But really if you think that any manufacture writes code from ASOP source from scratch for every phone you're nuts and it really doesn't surprise me at all.

it's in the pds partition, which isn't something most devs are willing to mess with.

I´m not saying that. Only saying that copying code that makes sense for waterproof phones for phones that are not waterproof is just plain lazy and stupid work.

I write code from scratch all the time but I do agree that it's not surprising
the main question is- Can this damn thing be fixed???
I go swimming with mine all the time. I dont have any touch imput so i think this feature is great.
Phone wont turn on though :/
nevermind .. Im a noob !!!!!!!!!!!
Just a note. This screen protector is amazing. Much better response then zagg invisishield!
Very easy to install...

you sure? I got the ultra optics, both of the protectors have 'back' written on the tab, its just to represent which side faces the phone and doesn't actually mean it goes on the back of the phone.
Im not sure which one your ordered but most SGP's just have 2 fronts included as standard.
Lol! OP is a retard. He got two screen protectors for the front. Who would manufacture a SCREEN protector for the back of the note? The back is just to indicate the side that goes on the screen.

I know you guys don't see stuff like this often. But this is part of my hobby. LOUD BASS! The bass is doing that to the windshield.
