Hey, I got the HTC HD2 (I put Android 2.2 on it) for my mom as she needed a cellphone but i was wondering if there is URDU language support for it, only so that she could get familiar with the operating system and make the transition much smoother to a smart phone. thanks a lot. Also, she will be going to Pakistan for a month lol just adding another incentive to have the Urdu language support.

Looking to save power on my HTC and wonder what the best toggle is so that I can run my HTC mini mostly on 2G but switch it back to 3G if I need to.
I cant see a way at the moment to get it off 3G

My HTC came with windows. It seems you need android for those apps.
If I run android on my HTC will I still be able to keep the neat weather feature etc or is that Windows based?

I would like to be able to change the UI of Android 2.2.1 to Japanese and I can't find any hints on that. Tbh, I'm quite disappointed that Android doesn't support at least all the language including input methods the iPhone does since day 1 (2007).
I found a method to have Japanese text input and it works, more or less. But I want to give the phone to my girlfriend and thereforce a Japanese UI would be perfect.
Any chance on that? It has to be possible to do it manually from getting the specific files off a Japanese ROM maybe? The Japanese HTC Magic equivalent hasn't been officially updated since 1.6, which sucks....
I would be willing to flash a custom ROM if it supports multilanguage out of the box, but I'm fairly new to this Android stuff. So please bear with me.
My mother is up there in years and she really wants to add colors and themes or decorate her phone dialer. She says it looks so boring. She is with metro pcs galaxy s4 i believe shes on kit kat. I would appreciate any ideas and suggestions. Thank you

Have no idea, i don't use stock roms, using some dirty hack to add emojis maybe isn't a good idea if you don't know what you doring, you can break the keyboard, like i said you try alternatives with more features.

Well he is probably rooted. Why shouldn't he experiment? The only way you can learn and achieve something here on android is by experimenting, if he "breaks" the keyboard, he can always use the backup version of the apk to go back. Not too hard is it
Well you can use the app called Root Essentials from there allows you to change the emoji of the keyboard that you have predetermined

there is some ways to add different emojis to keyboard , but they are not like the stock one .
if I can find the ported keyboard from android 7 , my problem will solve
I use the Emoji Switcher app from Play Store and it works really well. It's free however it does require root. I'm using it right now and it's way better then those ugly samsung ones.
