I'm not very good at development but I can help in some way or the other.
Thanks
Mate,
I'm sure developers are working on the port as we speak. Just need to have some patience
I've been trying to build 4.4 from source at the moment using the CM device tree for our phone. I literally know nothing about building so it's been an interesting experience hitting a lot of errors that I'm sure are simple to overcome. But I'm sure the Devs are hard at work on some awesome stuff for our G2's

I want to gather all information to port Sailfish Os to the Oppo find 7

Well that's how the Nexus 5 was ported, but you'll need to modify the kernel a bit, I think, you'll also need the actual Sailfish ROM, here are the repo's for the Nexus 5, have a look at the kernel files, compare it to the standard CM11 kernel, and play close attention to the Kickstarter file (there is a link for the generic sailfish image in the kickstarter file), that will show what and where all the stuff is collected together, you then use the kickstarter file to make a sailfish image for your phone.
Have a look at the mer project wiki page, that will tell you some more about how to make an image.
nexus4 xiaomi mi2
thanks for your help
i realize that it is much harder to port sailfish than something more common
the nexus 4 port shoud be more easier to port, to xiaomi mi2 right?
you'll still have to modify some stuff to get it working, but in theory it could be easier.

if you can be patient the jolla team will release hadk soon. This means hardare adaption development kit. After this it will be much easier to port

[Discussion] CM-14 for SM-T350?

Hello Devs,
I'm not nearly as experienced with Rom Developing as many others are, but I have a simple request,
Is there a Dev out there that would like to contribute to the Galaxy Tab A 8" and make a CM-14 based Rom for it?
The development for the SM-T350 has been slow, but successful, and I would really like for someone to point the spotlight onto this device and new ideas to be introduced.
Thanks for your contribution and keep the SM-T350 in mind!
Thanks,
 @vin_001

I was going to make one but Cyanogenmod has died. So I am currently working on LineageOS.

Sailfish OS for Redmi 3S?

Anyone interested of it? I heard alot good about it and I would like to attempt porting it to my device. Will it run on official kernel source or I have to build new one?

[Request] Any possibility of seeing Sailfish OS on the Samsung J3?

I've just been reading the hardware porting guide and apparently it can now be ported from devices running nougat, so my question is would any developers be interested in porting? I'll try to lend a hand while I can and I'll be attempting to port myself
