Camera unavailable after flashing latest cm 12.1 snapshot. - YU Yureka Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I had unlocked the bootloader and flashed the latest stable snapshot. Everything was working fine. I had removed some system apps including the default cynagenmod camera.
Yesterday I had to factory reset my phone, so went to Twrp recovery and wiped everything expect system. After this the camera is not found, I can see the app in the settings under all apps. The only way to open the camera is from the lockscreen. The camera opens and crashes with msg "Unfortunately, Camera has stopped". I can't access camera using any apps.
I tried flashing cm12. 1 again with no luck. Tried stock recovery and also flashed the stock rom multiple times with no luck. Can someone help me?

[Q] System UI continuously stops

I've rooted and unlocked my Nexus 7. I then did all the wipes and installed a custom ROM (AOKP first) and when it booted it immediately began giving "Unfortunately System UI has stopped working". I click "Okay" but it just pops right back up, over and over and over. In order to reboot the tablet I have to quickly hit buttons in between the system UI errors. So i did a full wipe (cache, dalvik, system, factory reset, data) and did AOKP again. Same problem. I did the same but switched ROMs (Rootbox) same thing. I tried 4 ROMs and they all did the same errors.
What could be causing this and how do i fix it?
Are you flashing the latest gapps package after flashing ROM?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Yes. I don't think that could be it either.
The only ROM that has not had the system UI error coming up is the PAC ROM and it doesn't use the normal SystemUI, just the PIE. I don't want to use that though. So anyone know what could be causing this?
just factory reset and re-flash the rom and correct version of gapps for that version of android
I have about a dozen times. Still doing the System UI error on every ROM except PAC.

Help with Rom install mainly Gapps

Hello I'm new to installing custom Roms and I am having a bit of trouble.
I am installing AOKP Milestone 1 and that goes fine but I am having trouble getting my gapps to work.
So what I do is reboot into CWM, factory reset, install aokp, install gapps 4.2.2 2013.03.01 then boot.
Once I start my titanium restore I get everything as it should but my camera app and a few other g apps like chrome show up as a little green android guy and says app not installed. I also get error messages non stop and if I try to open gmail for example it just crashes non stop.
Am I just using the wrong gapps file or something or am I missing a step?
the error message is Unfortunately, the process android.process.acore has stopped.
try a different, newer gapps http://fitsnugly.euroskank.com/?rom=rasbeanjelly&device=gapps
reflash your rom and the gapps.

No rom is booting up properly

EDIT: the problem is solved, see my last post
Hey guys,
I'm not new to installing roms, as I did with my SGS 2 before. But I haven't done it for a long time and it's the first time I do it on my SGS 5... with no success at all.
The problem is that, out of all the roms I've tried, none of them boot up entirely without crashes. I've followed the instructions to the letter and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Here's what I had before starting to fiddle:
SGS 5 G900F, no specific carrier, bought in Europe
stock android/touchwiz 5.0, never rooted or anything
Here are the roms I have tried:
cynaogen 5.1.1 12.1 20150508 for klte + these gapps http://teambliss.x10host.com/BlissStalk/Gapps/ --> stays blocked on the samsung logo forever
BlissPop 5.1.1 v3.3 20150515 for klte + pa_gapps-stock-5.1-20150418-signed or pa_gapps-modular-full-5.1-20150418-signed --> google newstand and another google app are crashing in a loop during the setup, I can't tap any button
PAC 5.1.1 20150503 for klte + pa_gapps-stock-5.1-20150418-signed or pa_gapps-modular-full-5.1-20150418-signed --> the install wizard application itself is crashing in a loop
THe kernels I've tried:
KT-SGS5-LP5.1-AOSP-G900-05.02.2015
boeffla-kernel-2.0-beta8-CM12.1-g900f.recovery
My recovery:
twrp-2.8.6.0-klte (flashed with Odin, it works fine, and I could boot the stock rom without problems with it)
Any idea about the cause of the problem?
Thanks
I guess if you are not new to stuff like this, you have 100% wiped everything before flashing in TWRP recovery, and factory reset / wiped caches after flashing the ROM and Gapps?

Yes, before and between installing different roms, I wiped everything: system, cache, dalvik, internal storage
I've also flashed twrp previous version 2.8.5.0, and philz touch recovery. They all work fine, but still can't boot any rom
Strangely, I now works using this version of CM 12.1: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...ent/rom-cyanogenmod-12-1-android-5-1-t3066252
I have no idea why I had all these crashes and boot problems with the other 3 roms.
Cheers
Odd.

Camera not working after root

2.go to dialer
3. type *#34971539#
4.perform camera firmware update,
5.reboot phone
6.hope your camera works, let me know
Thanks that worked! Everything is working a treat

HDR+ mode is gone

TL;DR: HDR+ mode is gone, except on stock factory image. Any solutions?
Guys, I really need some help with this one.
I love my 6P and it's camera, especially the HDR+ mode.
Until some time ago it worked fine but at some point, HDR+ jsut vanished from the camera. I tried out different ROMs but that that didn't solve the problem.
I flashed the factory image via fastboot and yes, HDR+ is back!
One problem, stock android doesn't have much features, so I flashed Pure Nexus.
And HDR+ is gone again...
I really can't figure this one out, and I'm at the point of giving up, I'm losing sleep and need my phone to be working before I go on vacation.
Can anyone help my with this one?
As far as I know I flashed everything correctly, and even started from scratch by flashing the factory image.
1. Flashed factory image with the flash-all.bat
2. Flashed TWRP 3.0.2.0
3. Reboot into recovery and Format Data to remove encryption
4. Mount in TWRP and place PureNexus, PureNexusGApps, and the MTC19V vendor.img
5. Flash the ROM, then Gapps, then Vendor to the vendor partition
6. Reboot system, rom boots up without problems, I set up me e-mail and fingerprint.
7. I open the camera app and HDR+ isn't there.
Anyone?

Custom Roms include the open source versions of the camera app. To use google camera which has HDR+ mode available, do the following:
1.) Open Google playstore and open the hamburger menu.
2.) Press "My Apps and Games"
3.) On the resulting page select the "All" tab then find and download google camera.
You will likely have to do the steps mentioned above as google camera will not appear when you search for it within playstore. Another method you can try would be to download a full gapps package which includes google camera, though I'ver never tried that.
Just download and install Google camera from apkmirror and you'll be fine.
Sent from my Nexus 6P using XDA-Developers mobile app
The problem is that no matter what camera app I try, the HDR+ toggle is not there, I'll try to start from scratch again and see if the issue is still there.
Update: HDR+ is now working again
Possible solution for people with this problem
Yesterday after flashing Factory Images via fastboot and flashing TWRP, I booted in TWRP and did Format Data.
Today I reflashed the Factory Images, reflashed TWRP, but this time did "fastboot format userdata" and then did a data, system, cache/dalvik cache wipe in TWRP.
I reflashed Pure Nexus and so far everything seems to be working as should, and HDR+ is available and working.
The issue started when returning from N Preview to M, I might have messed up something there.
Thanks for the input guys, seems like it was my own fault, and me being in a hurry didn't do any good.
