How do I reset flash counter when returning the phone to stock?

Hi.
I am going to RMA my Galaxy S4 I9505. Is has custom rom, root etc
I know how to get back to stock rom and unroot.
But how do I get the "flash counter" to 0?

Right before flashing stock rom with Odin, right?

Yes, use TA and go straight to boot loader mode and flash the Rom. Do not reboot first.

Can anyone make a step by step tutural for installing a omega rom?
I have rooted the device.
With the galaxy s3 I use cwm based recovery and there I can choose the rom I wanted to use.

I9505 root knox

Hi
Is it possible to root the I9505 without tripping knox on this software version:
AP: UEMKF
CSC: EMK3
I'm asking this because on the URDLV tread it says it is impossible with anything higher than MK2, but on the Kingo root app site it just states that it wil work almost all the time, but it doesn't say if it work on MK2 or higher. Is there any other root method?

try saferoot... If it works,it will root withhout tripping Knox,if it don't,its harmless...

Saferoot works for android 4.3 MKF. If it dont works, dont trip knox only u dont gona be rooted :highfive:

And if I root using saferoot, I can do everthing you normally can, without tripping knox(for example xposed, foldermount, titanium backup, etc) except flashing kernels roms and recoveries? Right?

Yes but you will need Safestrap for Recovery and installing Roms. Infact you can install multiple roms with Safestrap. Google safestrap.

Best rom and kernel for 4.4

Hi everyone.. i have a question. I am now on a rooted 4.2.2 stock rom. But i want to go 4.4 with custom rom , can someone give me a advice which custom rom (i think PA or pacman) and which kernel are the best together..
