I have some screen shots from Android Authority. just check. I am unimpressed

Officially I'm not holding my breath. But I can very well see AOSP/CM ROMs for sure.
LG didn't release MM properly... and you think they will release N?.

Maybe,, im no developer by any means but ill have a little tinker around, i used to work on exynos4 devices which disnt need much source code changes to get it to boot. so one step at a time, i dont care if more previews come out in the mean time, im gonna try my best,, im not going to rpomise anything

There is source code for n, not sure about the device trees as well im not using them lol. I havent had much time to do much to the sources

Not even the nexus line would work with straight build from the source,, source download was close to 30gb so im sure its all there,, its mm api tho.. I have had to restart the build repo coding a coupke times becuase i kept stuffing up lol but nearly there just need to add all qcom related stuff then i can work on framework support.. Hopefully i can get a build by the end of the week

I have built Omni 4.4 for the Nexus 5. Everything works fine except for Mobile Network. I am not just missing data, it is not connecting at all. I am not even asked for my PIN when I boot the phone.
What am I doing wrong?
Can someone give me an advise what to look for in logcat? I couldn't find anything obvious yet.
I used the blobs from the Google page. Would it be better to grab them from a running Omni ROM by using the extract script?

The blobs from the Google page are definitely incomplete - use the extract script.
And yes I know that until official builds start going out, there's a bit of a "chicken and the egg" issue with the official process for building (using extract-files).
Blob handling is always a nightmare.
LorD ClockaN helped me out. Here is the fix I used.

does any one know why cyanogenmod didn't make a version for n900 so far?
i keep asking them but no know answers
CM is unified, so there's no need 4 an specific Version. They work on all N3 Variants, exept the Exynos Version.

This might be a launcher or a CM theme or Flyme OS or MIUI.

Hm, I would guess that it's MIUI, with a theme applied. That said, it could very much be any rom with a custom theme/launcher.

Basically we cannot see the notification area. (Wifi toggles, bluetooth etc etc when we pull down from the top)
Can you get that arranged please.
Launchers/CM/PA/MIUI/Flyme all have a different notification tray. If we get to see that, anybody can tell what rom it is.

To be frank, it can be anything. Launcher,MIUI anything.
It is something to do with MIUI as @Takenoko_ said...its android, n number of possibilities..

So N is released this evening so the next two to three weeks I'll keep an open eye for test versions of n for our beloved g3.

1.1 GB update for Beta Android 7. Lot of changes so going Nougat seems right.
Wonder if fulmics or other custom ROMS for LG G3 will continue on Android 6 MM or will they embrace Nougat later this fall?

I'd love to get excited for android N but I don't want to give up the stock camera, I've yet to find a decent camera on AOSP roms.
Snapdragon camera is my favorite when I'm using an aosp Rom. I like it because it takes pictures quick and they come out pretty decent.

Guys snapdragon 801 chipset is dropped from support so nougat will take longer as we thought but it's already running on an snapdragon 800 nexus 5 so it will come some day

Sorry to hear that. I was hoping for a quick fix to run Nougat on Lg g3.
Guess maybe Fulmics or other custom ROM's will get updated at a later time?
