Hello,
I have been looking for a ROM on the forum for last one week couldnt decide which way to go. can anybody direct me to a stable ROM that is good enough for day to day usage, right now i have 11S Kit kat.
In one week you could´t have tried and test them all. Why do you want to let other people decide? Everybody has his own preferences, so at the end you have to decide yourself.
Most of the roms are stable , unless you corrupt anything. Resurrection remix mm, cm 13, dirty unicorn mm , aicp, aokp, saosp all are stable for me , and my daily use also.
Official Cyanogen OS 12.1 works just fine. i dont see the point of using another ROM (ive already tested some roms with not big difference)
Guys thank you for your feedback. actually i didn't tried any one of them i wanted to try resurrection but apparently the youtube installation guide is removed, so i couldn't move on.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/development/rom-ressurrection-remix-m-t3270147
Secondly i am having issues with Cynogen 12.1 screen brightness is automatically 100% some times screen is non responsive. settings and google play shut down for no reason. that's why i wanted to try some other ROM.
Why do you need a video for Installation?
[
- Download the latest build
- Download Gapps
- Take a nandroid backup
- Recommended - Full wipe and factory reset
- Flash ROM using latest TWRP 2.8.6.x Recovery
- Flash Gapps
- Reboot.
- Enjoy!QUOTE]
Full wipe means System too,
For Gapps you can use Open Gapps (Arm, 6.0, i would choose Nano)
For TWRP you can use latest 3,0 (I recommend to install it with the Multirom App, so you are able to install more than one Rom)
If you are on 12.1, first install CM 13 Nightly because of the Firmware, or install the Firmware only.

du mm is my daily driver for me now....tried resurection remix mm but did not like it it lagged..DU is great
My choices are jgcaap, resurrection remix and nuclear reborn. All three roms are very very good, stable and battery friendly.
A0001 - oneplus one
My suggestion is Sultans CM 12.1 It is one of the most stable and smoothest roms, battery friendly and most of all it does not heat up with excessive use.
Go for dirty unicorn and stay dirty!
Sultan. The answer is always Sultan.
Either try Exodus 6: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/orig-development/rom-exodus-android-6-oneplus-2-t3333818
Or try mine: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/development/rom-t3333591
Picking out a ROM is like picking out socks. There are many choices, some better than others. I've never needed anybody to help me pick out socks.
Given the variety of answers above, you're just going to have to decide for yourself. There is no single best answer, besides straight CM13 nighties

Ressurection remix MM
Request please port a Dirty Unicorn Build for OnePlus 2 , The MM build.
Evenif I am using du mm right now yet somehow I am missing the old kitkat cm11s
i am using dirty unicorn and is fast and stable BUT all mm roms i tried(i think i've tried all the famous ones) have ****ty battery life.
i flashed 44s a week ago just for fun and going "back" to mm was the hardest thing

Hey,
I've got rom stock on my s3.
The phone is slow and very short battery life.
Should i install cyanogenmod 12 - as shown here: http://www.naldotech.com/cyanogenmod-12-rom-5-0-lollipop-for-samsung-galaxy-s3/
or stable cyanogenmod ?
or just stay with the rom version i've got on my phone.
Pls advice
tnx
anyone?
Samsung based ROMs have better:
+Camera
+Stability
+Battery
AOSP based ROMs have better:
-Customization
-Performance
I recommend ArchiDroid ROMs
but in s3 samsung rom is only 4.3 with CyanogenMod i can get 5.0

Install CM12 weekly as suggested previously. Customize the governor and undervolt for great performance and battery life. Install CameraFV-5 and Cinema FV-5 for awesome camera quality. Much better than the samsung rooms.:good:
I too recommend custom ROM with android 5.0.2, its much better then stock ROM in almost everything
hello,
i haven't flashed my s3 since 4.3 .. which means ages ago. since 4.4.4 came out i wanted to flash it again, but there were no stable working running roms yet.
now after a while it seems that there's even 5.05 for my s3?
if so, where can i get infos and which rom should i get?? .. or should i stick to 4.4.4 kitkat?
oh and, if i flash a new rom, will it wipe everything? i forgot all that.
will i lose whatsapp database and all that?

You're on a forum with dozens of threads for dozens of roms. What more do you want???! ;/
Mind
I think stock is obsoleted and running slow. Thus I use Cyanogenmod 12. My s3 run smooth and customized. Combo with Boeffla kernel for optimized performance and daily use.
Good day,
It's just that I am new to rooting - I just successfully rooted my phone a while ago, and I was wondering, if I installed Custom ROMS, will I somewhat lose some functionality of the S3?
I have this "turn off when the phone is put on the ear while calling" feature, Smart Stay, Turn upside down to turn off sounds, etc.
If I install the S5 Sensation ROM, will I get to use these features? If I install AOSP ROMS, will these ROMs have the exact equivalent?
Thank you very much!
If your don't like Stock 4.3 ROMs, you can install CM11 stable, it's fast and stable.
I use Cyanogenmod 12.1 by JustArchi and Moster2. It is excellent, fast, reliable. The only problem I couldn't solve yet is that MMS don't work (send and receive).
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/development/5-1-x-cyanogenmod-12-1-t3066864
i have now stock 4.3

This is so far the most perfect [MM] ROM to me. The custom settings are very useful and everything is working so well. It feels much smoother and faster than the other ROM I've tried for Moto G LTE. Thanks for this ROM.

Hey there, I am running XT1039. Is the phone (fully) supported? I am running 5.1 stock right now, aiming to install TWRP and after that this ROM if possible.
Not sure if it's okay and possible with 5.1 as a base?
Hello guys.. So i have been using moto g 2014 model for a couple of months now and i have been absolutely liking this phone.. Here is my experience with different roms.. I have tried different roms like cyanogemod 13 and dirty unicorns etc in the marshmallow side and when lineage os 14.1 came out i just switched to it.. It was an awesome rom but i was missing a lot of features that i was getting through xposed and all.. So i started thinking of changing the rom.. And after a couple of hours of research i decided to go with Ressurection remix.. I was very happy with the performance and the battery backup of the rom and then i thought of custom kernel and flashed the deciphier kernel and is working absolutely fantastic with this rom.. The kernel helped me tune the phone the way i wanted and also improoved the performance as well as the battery backup.. I also made a small swap file in so that i can get a little bit more performance out of the phone.. I use Roehsoft ram expander and is working great.. Then also i have installed Substratum and also a theme named art.. Its also working fine for me.. The phone is working absolutely fantastic and without any major bugs... Though, feel free to tell me your suggestions about other roms and kernels as am interested in checking other roms and kernels.. Thankss..

I think this is kernel related, I will check what's the most up-to-date one to use
I tried the rom and I liked what I saw so far, especially the feature not all roms have of having a compact stock and switched navbar.
I did however encounter one weird compatibility issue with nova launcher. Nova launcher couldn't load any widgets for some reason. Other launchers were fine tho.

Hello
I didn't try many roms on the 6t yet, just Havoc and Renovate.
While Havoc is fun and with many mods, I felt it was not as speedy and smooth as stock rom, I also had trouble with wifi not connecting automatically.
Now I am using Renovate which is a cool bunch of mods for stock rom but it's missing a more solid aod (no music control, no clock movements loop).
Which rom do you recommend, that is smooth, with plenty of mods and stable enough?
i always stick to stock rom.
I am also surprised to see no oos based rom with plenty of mods like transparent app drawer ir navigation bar colors.
Renovate is a very good start but because it's a mod pack/rom that is shared over several devices, there are no specific mods for oos.
Unfortunately the only fully working aod on 6t nowadays are aosp
AOSiP for me. I have tried almost all ROMs and AOSiP is the most stable with just the right amount of mods. I am very nicely settled now with a custom kernel and settings, swift themes. Got amazing battery life and super smooth performance
Currently using renovate, waiting for fingerprint to get fixed on AOSP and then I'll probably flash RR

I've been using crdroid for a long time now. Almost daily updates, full AOD, OMS, loads of customisation, fast, stable. It's decent.
As soon as the FP starts working in AOSP roms, they will be on fire..
