Read through some of these threads, found by searching for "Bluetooth Stereo Headset" (surprise!) in this very forum.
i use some gear 4 bluphones, fit my head nicer than my motorola k9s
I'm using the Plantronics Pulsar 590A with my Kaiser, Laptop and Desktop.
It's the best BT Headset i've used by now... you can listen to stereo music in real good quality and if there's an incomming call, it switches to phone mode, stops the music and you can use the internal mic... It comes with a BT module for MP3 players or anything with a 3,5mm audio port, USB charger, normal power plug and a relly nice "docking station".
I feel there are two ways to go about this in general:
1. Get a good set of in-ear headphones if you are comfortable with them, and a bluetooth adapter with a standard 3.5mm jack. This way, you can use any headphones you want with whatever bluetooth devices you have, and you can replace the headset if something goes wrong with them. The downside to this is that I haven't really found a completely satisfactory bluetooth adapter for this purpose yet. They all have some miniscule (or not so miniscule) flaw that hinders performance. That being said, paired with a good set of headphones they do give satisfactory results with music most of the time, and the other features are just up to the adapter. While top end headphones like those from Shure, Ultimate Ears, Etymotic and such will have stellar audio performance, the adapter is usually the limiting factor as well as bluetooth itself. It is nice that you have a pair of great headphones for other devices, but I suppose the whole point of having BT headphones is to avoid carrying and using other devices...
2. Invest in a good set of BT headphones. Some older models like the Motorola S9s have fallen to very affordable prices and have reached a great price/performance ratio. Look into other offerings from Jabra and Plantronics as well, making note of which features are most useful to you as I would say the audio quality is generally acceptable. Some Sony models allow multiple pairing if that's something you're after, while other models from Jabra and Plantronics have small screens for caller ID and other information. Unfortunately, these options rarely come with different sizing options so achieving a good 'fit' becomes a matter of trial, error and money. While none of the models I have tried are directly 'uncomfortable', I can't see myself wearing any of them on a long train or bus trip to be honest, which is why I stick to my solution above.
Hope I could help, and use the search feature on the forums for opinions on more specific models.
I've got an older Bluetake i-Phono Plus set of stereo headphones.. have had them for about three years now and they still work great..
they work well and have fold down microphone as well so you can talk also
Any tips on which one is best? Trying to wirelessly send music to car speakers via the audio jack...
Thank you
you can look up the Motorla T505 - It is bluetooth and transmits to your car stereo using Powerful FM Transmitter. Mutes music when you get a call and resumes after. Calls come through car stereo as well. Or if you want check out jabra stereo headphones = I know that there are a few that have Headphone jacks out. My Jabra Bt320 would do what you are looking for or there is a Jabra stereo headphone set that looks like dog tags with headphone jack out as well. (Wish I would have foun that before I bought the Bt320 )

u can try the Motorola S705. It allows u to attach any 3.5mm jack to the unit. I have been using it for awhile and it works pretty good.
This sounds like a good idea. But, I often go the cheap route on devices like this. I shop at this website DealExtreme and they have a device like this for $20. http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.8098 I saw some reviews on it that says the range sucks... it's like 10 feet or something but if I'm in my car with it, what does it matter. Anyways, that site rocks. There is a replacement battery on there for the Kaiser for like $7. http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.15833
I personally use the iTech Clip (S38 I think...) i'd have to double check. I ordered it from ebay thought and it works pretty well. It was around $50 for me with shipping. The only complaint is the music sounds just a touch muffled when compared to listening through wired head phones. But you really don't noticed it unless you are doing a comparo.
I use mine all the time for when I go running and it works well.
plantronics 855
the plantronics 855 is a really nice stereo bluetooth headset. I got mine for $45 on sale, I think it goes for around $40 new on ebay. With a 3.5mm headphone jack part (radio shack $2), some wire (radio shack $3), a small amount of dremeling and some soldering you can turn it into a really small bluetooth to 3.5mm adapter with really great sound. (im using bose-in ear headphones and the sound quality is really good). I did it with mine and I love it. If you want instructions PM me.
If you just want to buy something then sony makes a really nice one, its like $100 but the sound quality has to be great.
Also make sure you do the A2DP hack to your phone (it's really just a reg edit in cab form):
View attachment A2DP_BT_Hack.zip
Sony Ericsson HBH-DS205 or DS220.
Generally rated very good -but some report brief transfer interruptions happening every minute or so. They come with a headset included, but thats connected to the unit via a 3.5 mm plug. I found one for a decent price on Ebay.
Waiting for my S705

I just purchased the S705 on Amazon. What I liked was that it could charge while it was working as a bluetooth receiver. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have a hard on/off switch. I would much prefer to be able to leave the switch on all the time so that as soon as I enter my car and turn the car on, the S705 would connect to my phone.
As it is, I accept the limitation as it might be better all around that I have to turn the thing off rather than have it wasting it's charge every time I turn off the car.
Iv just bought a jabra 3030 dogtagbluetooth headset which has a 3.5mm audio jack on it so you could put it in a cup holder and buy a small 3.5mm audio jack cable to plug into the radio, I will test it out when mines delivered if you want ?
Hi I got my BT3030 today and must say it is amazing works great with tytn ii, sterio audio goes through aswell and a 3.5mm jack on the side so you can plug it into any form of audio output!
Sound quality is the best Iv ever heard from a bluetooth device and is allmost as good as my 5.1 at home
Only £30 from expansys if you get the £10 off from madoca or whatever it is.
I am still shopping for a solution but found this one while looking. Haven't tried any yet, thanks to all who posted suggestions.
Hi,
I just refund the RC w100, which I bought two wheeks ago and which is not working on all the new roms.
I like to buy a headset for listening music in the gym.
I like to buy one, which is 100% working on ALL the newer roms. It do not have to had a remote, it just have to work fine.
It could be a whole headset or just the adapter to plugin usual headphones.
I would prefer the second choice.
Can you please send me a Link of a product,so that I can order it on ebay?
What do you think of bluetooth headsets. Are they better for just listening music? It have to be stero...
It do not have to be something special, it just have to work. I do not like to make any more refunds...
Thank you for your advices,
Master

I am using a Motorola S9 stereo bluetooth headset for listening to music. I have even used this under my helmet on motorcycle rides. You can control music, next/previous/pause, volume up/down/mute with the headset controls. When you get a call, the music automatically pauses and one speaker acts as a microphone (?), when the call is done, the music starts again.
There are a lot of them on eBay, search for 'Motorola S9', they go from $15-$40 USD.
I also have a 3-in-1 adapter like this one : eBay Item # 270447310297
It plugs into the htc jack and lets you connect an htc headset, usb connection, and a 3.5mm stero plug for connecting regular headsets. I use this on place with a set of noise-canceling headphones, works great, but a little more to carry. I have also seen more streamlined adapters on eBay for connecting a headset with 3.5mm plug to the htc phones, like this one: eBay item #260438648187 and #280399218984
Hi,
I just ordered the Jabra BT3030 for 32 USD on Ebay.
Thank you for your advice
using a BT headset isn't draining too much the battery?
I definitly need an adapter for normal 3.5mm jack headsets that works, I once bought on ebay one for a motorola razr phone, but audio was too low, can you confirm those adapters do give high enough audio levels from the kaiser?

I just purchased this adapter (Item# 400080682350) on the bay and almost have to turn the volume down as low as it can go, works great.
I've used the 2nd & 3rd adapters that JJHiemenz listed from off of Ebay. The 2nd one got a short after a while, and the 3rd one works Great because up to now I still use it on my TILT. Better investment if U ask me.

I bought two of these objects and then discovered it was a set of three, so I have SIX adapters now very cheap and very well working, so, being them so small, I took one at office, one in the bag, one at the desk and so on
Jabra BT620s
Jabra BT620s is highly recommended, and pretty affordable. Pairs quickly and easily and works reliably with A2DP on my Kaiser. Just don't try to do heavy WiFi surfing and Bluetooth listening at the same time, it can't handle it
I've got the Motorola S9 and its been working great for almost a year now with many different ROMs. Got mine off ebay, but look out for the chinese ripoffs, the work for a little bit then crap out (learned the hard way).
the solusion is
Jabra BT3030, Jabra BT3030 Rules!
Hi all, can you guys recommend an inexpensive bluetooth headset with A2DP? My Razr M should be here any minute according to my FedEx tracking. 3 times a week I'm on the road from 4:30 AM to 11:AM and I listen to a lot of podcast. Any suggestions with be gladly appreciated.
My recommendation is for you to get a cheap BT headset you can get one from tmiphones.com access code 55464 under accessories for pretty cheap and go to the play store download an app called BT mono and connect the headset to your phone then turn this app on and it creates the same type of link to the Bluetooth without the need to search for a2dp specific BT. I use BT mono all the time and it works perfect.
Sent from my XT907 using xda app-developers app
What does a2dp do?
For a RAZR M I would get a Motorola S11 HD Flex if you can order from Motorola directly. There was a problem with the original run where the back plastic would break, but they are shipping a remedied version now.
The reason I recommend them is that they use the new apt-x codec. It's a lot better sounding than A2DP because it is a lossless codec. The RAZR line is one of the phew device lines to use apt-x, so I'd recommend using it if you can

a2dp headphones allows media (music/movies) to play in the bluetooth headphones/headset, where as ones without a2dp just do voice.
i'm using Sony Ericsson MW600
I am using the Motorola M305 "Rocker"
It is a wrap around style that covers both ears. The battery lasts forever and I personally do not like having a bud in my ear for long periods of time - so I find these extremely comfortable to wear for a while to listen to music or podcasts. I don't know, if you are driving, if you would feel uncomfortable with a full over-ear headset, but I love these.
They also pair perfectly with the phone, my laptop, my ipod, and my work ipad. So multi-device pairing - yes!
I work in Audio production, and for a wireless headset, the response on these is very good - probably because they have normal sized drivers instead of tiny bud style drivers. They also have skip/pause/end/answer and volume buttons on the right earpad. You can control the music without looking at your phone.
They might feel a little cheap - plastic - but I have found that they are more durable than they look.
right now on Amazon I think they are $39 - so for me, it's the best sounding Bluetooth headset at that price point. (I'm sure you could try the one AKG is making now for SUPER sound audiophiles ... but you'll pay >$130)

Ebay has a few but most of them require a separate power source as they do not come with a built-in battery. You're better off finding Bluetooth Headphones as it will be a less of a hassle and you wouldn't have to go around searching for a receiver.
There's Sony SBH50, Sony SBH52, Sony SBH20 and the oldest one out of the series Sony MW600. All of them have interchangable headphones, with a normal 3.5 Jack, so you can plug in any headphones you want. I used the Sony MW600 for a day after I've bought it, but I lost it, because I had it just dangling on my chest and I wasn't listening to music when it fell off, so I never found it. So strap the wireless receiver well to the headphones! :highfive:
