I just noticed this when I was buying a new MicroSD Card for my SM-G900F. When I was about to format the new MicroSD Card while I was still inside the store, the Settings just crashed and takes back again at it's menu. During that time I had the BPA2 (Israel) firmware installed. The I decided to download other firmwares and successfully flashed them, but shows the same problem. I can download the firmwares, but when I try to extract them, my pc's Winrar will show an error message saying that the archive is corrupt. So then I decided instead to use a custom firmware ALEXNDR Rom which is based on the same firmware I had. I downloaded it with no problems, even extracted the contents without any issues, but to my surprise it also has the same problem like those of the stock firmwares! At first I though maybe an issue with my network, but when the same thing happens with the custom firmware, it made me think that perhaps it's an issue with Samsung.
Luckily I managed to save firmware copy of an older firmware (XXUPOJ1) and also have a Nandroid Backup.
Perhaps someone can try to recreate my problem.
Format the card in a PC first?
Make sure you're using WinRar's latest 5.31 to extract the firmware
Here's the latest lollipop BOJ1 already extracted

Hi,
I have lost my backup of this rom and require it to restore my unit back to how it was shipped here in Australia. If anyone can supply a link to this firmware 1.016.04_Com_Gen1 in either CWM or Acer Zip it would be appreciated.
1.139.04_Com_Gen1
OK... If no-one has a 1.016.04_Com_Gen1, then the next best is the upgrade version of 1.139.04_Com_Gen1. This is so I can get back on to an Australian rom...
Cheers,
Michael.
Would flashing it to
Acer_A500_0.000.00_1.016.01_COM_GEN1
and from there, to
Acer_A500_1.016.01_1.139.04_COM_GEN1
have the same result and you'd end up with a stock Australian unit?
Just wondering, as I'd like to get mine back to stock and see if it fixes my OTA update problems.
Those packages & updates are from:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1113878
No... Different base and flexrom.
I have the required files now... thanks.
Mind to share this file ?
Did these 3 files restore the stock recovery as that seems to be the cause of my OTA update issues.
Is there a link to a guide on how to flash these three img files?
Can you share 1.139.04_Com_Gen1 ? Thanks

hi,
i have downloaded the original ROM from your link.
how do i restore (or restock) my Iconia?
extracted the zip and copied all the img files to /mnt/sdcard
and perform "Restoring to factory defaults via Terminal #2" method (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1155664)
right after this command "dd if=/mnt/sdcard/system.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p3"
what do i do next? do i remove the MicroSD before I perform any of the steps above?
does it automatically reboot after that?
i have tried the following:
1. with microSD inserted, nothing happened - system hang
2. without microSD inserted, system reboot but hang at Acer logo
none of them get me back to stock ROM
Hi,
I updated my p7510 that i bought in canada (xac) with firmware xwkg7. I live in germany and wanted a european version of the fw.
I did the following:
-Update tab (pit, bootloader, csc, code) using P7510XXKFC
-Update tab (code) using P7510XWKG7
After the update recovery gave me strange error messages (/preload cannot be mounted and so on). However, I installed CWM, so I do not have these errors anymore.
I also did factory reset, wipe cache...
However, since I updated the firmware I cannot use "about tablet->software update->update" anymore. I always get the following error message:
"Failed to update firmware due to network or server problem. Try software update later (Setting->Software update->Update) or using PC software (Kies)"
Before the update this worked just fine (although no update could be found). I dont have network problems, as I can browse, chat etc.
Since the update Kies is also not showing my current firmware version on my tab.
I guess it has something todo with the country where I bought the tab (canada) and the rom that i used to update (europe version)?
Do you know or have ideas how I could fix this problem?
I dont like the feeling that somwthing is not working on my tab
Thanks!
Klaus
Try to reflash the stock recovery with odin and factory reset, that will recreate the needed data structure on the tab and try again.
Or maybe its because you mixed incompatible code/csc.
Start over.
I found the solution.
I described it here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1280069
In short: csc files were completely missing. This caused all my trouble.
Hope this will help someone.
Klaus
I have the same problem.
So if I want to fix I have to install csc and PDA files at the same time?
Does that mean all my data will be erased?
Could I just use csc?
Where can I find these files?
Sorry for the 1000 questions!
I am currently on vacation and can not tell you the firmware versions, but at Sammy firmware I found two European rom versions. One had also a csc file that I flashed.
Flashing the original csc file with Odin will do a factory reset. You could also download a custom rom, extract the csc stuff and copy it to /system,if you want to avoid factory reset. You have the choice
But if you use an original PDA/code file and flash it with Odin, csc files are not included and must be added afterwards somehow!

Hi, I have a N910F in the UK. I was on stock BOC5 rom loaded via OTA. I then rooted via cf root and loaded twrp all succesfully. I took a back up and stored on external sd card and internal. I then saw stock BOC5 deodex so thought i would try. Downloaded the file and it failed to flash. I then used my ext SD backup and that failed, so flashed internal, all was good.
Then the crap hit the fan. I then thought if I went official BOD2 from sammobile then flash the deodex maybe better. Downloaded BOD2 and went through odin, it failed saying the file was too large. i then did a search and found a Pit file, so used that in odin too and failed at the same. went to recovery, it booted into download mode saying to connect to kies. Tried that and my comp didn't recognise phone. Reflashed cf root and twrp, all worked but can only see ext SD. internal says 0mb. i get boot with both samsung logos but then says decrypt and to reset phone. i have since downloaded a couple of sammobile roms and a couple of roms flashable in twrp and no luck.
anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I know this is probably back to samsung repair.
quick update. downloaded newest version of odin< downloaded 3mobile uk version and went through odin with this pit file http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3135354&d=1422307712. this worked, rooted, installed trwp, installed my ext sd back up and all worked fine.
Ok, another update, I have lost efs. i used kies to go back to stock rom and used my twrp back up to restore efs. it passed in 1 sec but nothing in the efs folders.
i do however, have correct imei, connect to wifi, etc it does however have the wrong serial number showing. does anyone know why twrp isnt restoring EFS?

For everyone who are having the problem in updating yotaphone 2, there is a simple solution, I wasted two days to find it
I brought yotaphone 2 from China, I was eager to update it to the most recent software, so I flashed the European firmware by yota flasher , and my phone got bricked
After spending two sleepless night I got the solution
For bricked devices, get the phone in download mode, and flash the oldest chinese firmware, your phone will start
Now if you want to update it to lollipop in your c drive, in programme file there will be a folder called yotaflasher, in that folder there will be a firmware folder, from that folder copy the RADIO
folder, now delete everything else
Now through yota flasher download the latest European firmware, and as explained before replace the RADIO folder in European firmware by the RADIO folder you copied from chinese firmware
Hurray you will update your yotaphone 2,ENJOY
Didn't need to do that... I just flashed the UK rom then the Russian rom with no fuss.
Mine too was the YD206...
Oh, and it just auto updated to the latest 134 rom, I am rooted and have TWRP recovery installed.
Got it, opened a how-to flash with TWRP topic.
Hello Everyone,
I'm a long time iphone user since 2013, and I just transferred to Samsung.
Recently I bought a new unlocked S10+ from samsung website. As a AT&T user and I need to use WiFi calling since my reception at work and home is bad. I did some search on the forum and flashed my software to 975U AT&T version, by using the files in SAT-1-9.0 folder in this link(https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=290649).
After I unzipped the G975U_SAT_1.zip files I got the BL, AP, CP ,CSC files, and I also downloaded the USERDATA file in that folder as well(USERDATA_ATT_G975USQU1ASAT_CL15296297_QB21819666_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.zip).
I try to search online find if I should upload the USERDATA into Odin but I'm unable to find any, but I did it anyway and upload BL, AP, CP, CSC, HOMEDATA all together.
The flash was successful and I was able to get ATT logo during booting and all the apps in the phone. Then I found out the SAT version of firmware is kinda old, there are newer updates available already.
Back in to that website folder, there are SBA and SD3 available as well, in SBA folder there are G975U_SBA_1.zip, 3.5 GB just like the previous SAT one, so I assume this is the main file. They also have USERDATA available as well and I saw the ATT one is in there too.
The SD3 folder doesn't have any "Main file", it only has USERDATA.
I tried to clicked check updates in the phone but it showing me my current software is up to date but apparently it's not(SAT version is back in Feb and there are SBA and SD3 already)?
Then I downloaded a new firmware (SD3) on firmware.science web last night and flashed it using the SD card, it wiped my data but the flash was good and the phone is now showing SD3 version.
My question is:
1. Will I get OTA updates in the future?
2. What does USERDATA do? I'm guess it let your software has specific carrier features, that's why the file name contains carrier brand name, the SBA and SD3 are all carrier updates, so if I want to flash to a newer version, I need to upload newer USERDATA into Odin, is that correct?
3. I flashed the SD3 using the MicroSD card. If I want to flash it using Odin, what should I do?
4. Is the SD3 file on the firmware.science website the same to USERDATA file in SD3 folder on androidfilehost.com?
5. How can I update without losing the data? Yesterday during the SD card flash I have to factory reset before update otherwise it will stuck at "Starting android" forever.
Thank you very much.
