I know the galaxy line pretty much offers floating SMS pop up as a mod for most the s5 s6 note models. Is the same mod possible or available for stock or any ROM on the 6p?
The only thing I don't like is acruwokt having a SMS pop up as a box when it comes thru instead of a message icon header in status bar .
Or any newer released 2
Secondary text apps that do this ?

Hi,
I would like to know if someone know a mod to have the clock on notification bar centered for Nexus 4 (4.2.1)?
I would also like to know if this is possible. I guess a method that works for another phone doesn't necessarily work with the N4?
Bump

Are there any ROMs that support custom colors for that top part of the notification draw? Like the black bar on top that shows the time (when its pulled down) ?

I've tried Paranoid Android and PAC Android which does this. It's in Settings, Hybrid Setting, swipe to the right, then choose Apps if I'm not mistaken.
There are probably more though.

Hello,
Is it possible to have ambient display working on the Note 4 like the Nexus 6 just by picking it up or when a notification arrives ?
yup. enable it from the hidden air gesture menu using the app. no rooting required.
Cool thanks, and does it affect the battery life ?

I don't have such menu!! Where should I look for it??????
What app?????
It's not in the recent release. It's missing. It should be under the display and wallpaper menu in the settings screen above the daydream option. You can use alternative apps from play store such as acDisplay or dynamicnotifications - they are more like the moto x (2014) version of ambient display so won't be the same as what you'll get on nexus 6 or in cm12. I'm guessing they'll release it in a future update which I hope is sooner rather than later. The lollipop release for note 4 had been somewhat delayed for one reason or another. There's also a bug on the priority notifications where you can't set a time period for auto selection of priority notifications as you would have in blocking mode. I'm hoping that is resolved in a future update too.

Seems like the coding is there but I'm guessing the ui implementation could be one of the bugs that they're supposedly working on. Hope three rollout of lollipop starts again soon and that these issues are rectified.

Ty. But works in 910f?
Hi All !
I'm from India and I just got my new Galaxy S8 in Midnight Black variant. I basically have 2 queries :
1. Is there any way by which you can customize the colors of the edge panel lighting?
Like for example: In the S7 Edge, you could assign colors to specific contacts and application notifications. I cant seem to find the same for this phone.
2. Is there any way by which we can customize the notification LED to specific colors ? Like for example you can assign a specific color to a specific application or contact ?
I really cant find these 2 things. I'd be disappointed if there aren't any options to edit these. My LG G3 had the option for the Notification LED and the older S7 Edge and Note series also had it.
Can anyone throw some more light onto this matter?
Thanks !
Just don't play with LED... There are several people who played with some apps for led and they damaged the led so it doesn't work anymore!!
