So I decided to use Package Disabler on my GS7 Edge. Here are screenshots of what I disabled:

Can someone please tell me if I made any mistakes? I used the debloat guide for the Note 5 and another Android article. I'll share links below too. Any help is appreciate and thanks in advance.

I had to restore a ton of the disabled stuff, so I cannot really tell how it affects battery life since my phone had to be reset twice due to new bugs.
would be great to know which apps are definitely not needed and if they are, for what purposes. Which package disabler did you get? I see a bunch.

Hi Guys,
I used to have the Nexus 5 and loved the smooth stock Android experience but it broke so I decided to upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active since it is much more rugged. I am very unsatisfied with the Samsung experience so far since my Nexus seemed much smoother and stable. I've played around with rooting and custom ROMs a few years ago with my Samsung Galaxy S2 so I am somewhat familiar/comfortable to install ROMs but I don't find any for the S5 Active. Perhaps someone can point me in the right direction to find one? Or else I'm willing to do/extract whatever is required to build one. I'm also opened to trying to build my own custom ROM but would need to be pointed in the right direction of a tutorial or guide to get started. Any help will be greatly appreciated because I absolutely love the hardware but hate the software on this phone, maybe that's why Samsung sales are slipping. So many pointless bloatware!

I want to use the S6 Theme and add themes to my Rooted 5.0 S5 G900W8 is there a way to do. This ? I was really.impressed they finally allow themes to S6 I want that feature on the S5

I did this on a previous ROM I had installed on my S5 SM-G900M and it worked. Don't know for sure if this will work on your device, but you can try, anyway I'd advise to do a NANDroid Backup. You'll find proper instructions here:

How come there is no theme I can download. And is it anything like the S6 in the S6 it changes the toggles the settings everything

Added: if you want to end flashaholic, forget marshmallow or nougat rooms, although the devs are amazing...they are based on ports, and will have the odd bug here and there, settle for a lollipop rom, as these are much more stable, as Samsung stopped supporting after this, go for a stock, or ones based on 5.0 (roms by @rayman95 @_alexndr and similar)

I've ordered a Shield TV in replacement of a Raspberry Pi3 for use mainly with Kodi and Netflix. I'm very familiar with Lineage OS on my phone and really willing to use it on the shield TV (and root the beast by the way), I know all the advantages of LineageOS (privacy, more control, less Google or manufacturer base app...), but is there any disadvantages ? Function that will not work, app or services from Nvidia that I will not be able to install ? Change in interface that is not as good for TV ?

pretty sure most nvidia stuff will not work and i find the UI annoying to use.. i wasnt on los for long tho and i normally hate LoS anyways
