Help me, No Network said... - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi friends and users of XDA.
I now flashed latest firmware for my device model (SM-N900S), but says "No network".

What i can do?
Thanks

Did you buy this phone new or used? Is the imei properly displayed when you dial *#06#? Does the imei from the phone screen match the imei on the battery label?

Restore your backed up EFS folder .
Worth trying a factory reset first and or flashing again .

My IMEI resetted to null

I just recently updated to docs ROM and when i check my IMEI it displays null.
It seems the update or kernal update has resetted my IMEI.
I would like to know how can i set it back, because i know my imei number. Is there any command i can set it to the phone.
please help me on this regard.
it's solved. what i did is i flashed the CSC & Phone files back to DDJP6 version. So this helped me to make phone displaying the IMEI.
The issue was last ROM update made some problem so android/phone was unable to read the IMEI number correctly, thus showing null..
Now it's working perfectly..

Need phone file to flash
I've got a Captivate i897 (flashed as an i896) that my brother bricked and we had it JTAG flashed. It now shows IMEI is null when you do a *#06# and when you do a *#1234# it shows PDA file and CSC file but PHONE shows as "unknown." When the phone boots up it creates invalid files in EFS due to not being able to read the IMEI. If I change the nv_data.bin from another phone and set permissions and ownership it can then get a signal and make calls but still shows IMEI as null. If I reboot then it goes back to not working. I need a PHONE file to flash in ODIN to fix it I think. If someone can tell me what PHONE file to flash and if I can flash just that FILE to fix the phone.

Send it back to LG for repair. messing with the IMEI is illegal (short of backing up and restoring) and as such banned from the site.

please help me save my s5

today i flashed the xxx rom and flashed the ap file via odin all went well and device was working but i suddenly realized my network was gone.under phone info the baseband was unavailable and my imei was gone.after alot of searching i found a site where a efs+nvdata.tar file was uploaded.i flashed that file and i got my imei and baseband back but mobile networks is still unavailable. ......when ever i boot up the phone it shows a unlock sim message........i tried kies, efs professional but nothing works.i tried to restore the efs.tar.gz file but it isnt working.i noted that my imei after flashing the file matched my phone, but the s/n number doesnt match but i dont think it matters as long as the imei is ok.PLEASE HELP ME,if a efs backup will fix it i beg anyone to send me a backup or tell me how to fix it..please:crying::crying:

IMEI Writing I9500

Yesterday I decided to Upgrade my S4 i9500 to 6.0, the rom is amazing (despite the amount of battery it consumes) but when trying to acces to the imei (*#06#) it shows 0049990106..... as you might notice not my imei, I did this EFS.img backup, via terminal but now I am not able to restore it via terminal, I rooted the phone but I just can't do it. i wonder If i can Write the imei via PC or APK since i have it wrote down in my phone bill but obviously now the warranty is totally void... so I have the efs but I can't restore it (it shows succed restoration but nothing happens, no imei change) and i have the IMEI number and i really need help what can I do?
If it were that simple to change the IMEI, then anyone could just borrow a phone from somebody, get the IMEI, and do some mischief with that IMEI.
Did you restore the imei to a stock ROM?

Take the device to a service center and have them fix it. You backed up the EFS partition, but nv_data, which contains the IMEI, is no longer stored there. Thus the IMEI was not backed up, which is why you can't restore it.

Hey, I have the same problem, I guess that there's not solution yet.
Try here:

Do you a have a efs.img backup ? Or any kind of IMEI/EFS/RADIO backup ?
I had the same problem I flashed the stock ROM and somehow I lost my IMEI info, I tried everything and I was even thinking about buying a z3x box but then I decided to do a very risky move , I completely deleted all the EFS related files/info and reflashed again but now I was not able to boot because I always sent me to recovery mode saying that :
"E:Failed To Mount /EFS (invalid argument )"
Then all I did was installing TWRP and rooted my SM-G935F and then I placed my efs.img backup on my internal SD CARD and went on recovery launched the terminal and wrote this :
dd if=/sdcard/efs.img of=/dev/block/platform/155a0000.ufs/by-name/EFS
Then I wrote reboot and it finally my phone was booting and I recovered my IMEI and was able to use my phone normally.
This only works if you have a backup of your EFS, and even if you do is risky , but I did it because I lost all hope and was accepting the fact that my phone would just become a useless wifi only device .
So there is not a fix yet for this problem ?
I have a problem on my s7edge instead. If i have valid imei i'am almost always in emergency calls, and when the signal comes back does not go into mobile data connection. With the wi fi no problem. Can someone help me i'am going crazy.!

IMEI, Network Signal and Baseband is misssing
Hi
I am ready to donate if any expert can help me to restore IMEI.
I am using SM-N9500 samsung note 8 model - hongkong version, i frequently change the roms.. when last time i tried to install a custom rom i lost IMEI. i am getting error like IMEI-unknown, baseband- unknown, no network and sim cards not working..
i tried installing stock rom, custom roms, it was installing successfully but only baseband, signal and IMEI are not working. i didnt even back up my EFS folder. So, kindly help me to get back my IMEI.
I have installed stock rom, still no IMEI. now i rooted my mobile and taken EFS backup. is it enough? if yes, pls suggest me the next steps. I also tried installing combination firmware, though is not working, installation was successful and also i am able to see the factory binary logo, after which it will switch off automatically and boot loops. everytime it will open factory binary and immediately it will switch off automatically..
