My phones model number is SM-G900V, Android version is 5.0, Android security patch level 2016-02-01, Baseband version G900VVRU2BPB1, Kernal version 3.4.0, Build number LRX21T.G900VVRU2BPBT IDK if you need anymore info? But anyway. I'm dearly trying to securely root this phone, and I'm willing to pay a little to get it done. I've tried oneclickroot . com and they couldn't root it Is there some safe secure fast way to root this phone? Help!

Use kingoroot v3.1
It is one click root app
But it is not permanent root.
First root with this and go to permanent root
just do what this thread says step by step.
root tutorial
good luck
It's not that I don't trust the twrp flashing process, but I can't get any real guides for this version I'm using. My build number is MPJ24 139-49 and im on android version 6.0.1. Can anyone confirm if kingo works? Thanks

i follow the steps and rooted the phone successfully ,
in the process adb complain about version not compatible , i just downloaded adb.exe and replaced it and it worked nice.
my only problem is that this method upgraded the ROM to android 6

Can you answer these questions:
Is your boot loader unlocked now?
Do you want a stock version of 5 or an after market version. If you have an unlocked boot loader do you want CyanogenMod 12 or a variation of it?
Why did you root your phone?

If you want to go back to stock, go here..... https://forum.xda-developers.com/ve...rmware-pit-verizon-samsung-galaxy-s5-t3757416 and download whatever version you want and flash it with Odin per the instructions on that page.

You can root any ROM with TWRP & Magisk. You just need an unlocked boot loader to get started with.
If you don't want to or can't unlock your boot loader go here. https://forum.xda-developers.com/ve...oot-method-t3561529/post71147687#post71147687
and click the box below the "If your eMMC CID starts with "11," start here:" statement.
