Hello Everyone!
I've been working on my thuglife™ kernel for bullhead for a while, have included it in some ROMs, have released it yet
I'm planning to release it soon, and hence want to know how it is, and if you'll have some requests for it, etc
https://sourceforge.net/projects/thuglife/files/bullhead
There are a lotta zips there, been uploading quite a few of my builds
Latest one I'm currently running has been updated of Linux kernel version 3.10.99, and compiled with Ubertc 5.3
https://sourceforge.net/projects/thuglife/files/bullhead/thuglife-bullhead-20160305.zip
Kernel source --> https://github.com/akhilnarang/ThugLife_bullhead
I'm not really a kernel developer, just like having my own though, with all the features I like and want, all credit goes to various developers who actually wrote everything that's in the kernel
Enjoy

Great new stuff for the 5X users,
off topic question but where did you get your navigation bar icons from?
Great kernel. Thank you
First of all, thank you for sharing your work! I flashed this just a few minutes ago, no immediate problems so far. I liked the fact that it's optimized with Uber and is based off the latest Linux version. I did run into one problem, however. I cannot select Zen as my I/O scheduler. I appears on the list in ElementalX Kernel Manager, but selecting it does nothing. I switched to SIO Plus for now, but this issue did not occur in Phasma Kernel which also has the Zen scheduler.

Thank you very much faux, nice to see you here on the Find5 forums, you are one of the best hands down! I have used your kernels in just about every device I own, and have purchased your apps, they are great.
Any plans in the future to do a 4.2.x kernel for us users who use custom roms?
5 stars for faux!!!
Edit Flashed Kernel - Everything is working fine on my device, no issues at all. Just to remind some people that may not know this kernel will not show the best synthetic benchmarks results but its a performer! It will perform just as good as any kernel that benches really high in benchmarking, so if your scores are not crazy high, don't worry, go read about why this is. Faux has a complete read up on why this is, the main thing is that your device will run smooth all around and you will get better battery life along with great performance. Just because you don't get 25000 when running an antutu or any other benchmarking test does not mean anything when it comes to this kernel, from my experience, its all about user performance with faux's kernel. Thats my experience anyways.
Thanks again faux!!!

For some reason it wont let me rate this thread, I don't understand why? But it deserves 5 stars I really like your kernels faux, I use them on my devices that you support and bought all your apps. I just hope that someday I will get to fully use your kernel on my Find5 with Custom Roms :fingers-crossed:

Wrong forum.

This rom is really nice. It could have its own customization menu, add they are under Display menu, but still is fine. I have some problems with gapps, so I am trying the 64bit version.
And RRO/Layers Builds from Aldy ... ? SimpleAOSP ftw !!!
Just a warning people, franco kernel and Fire Ice kernel causes system UI crash, so don't bother with those. Their g+ page says elementalx kernel is compatible, maybe I'll try that later.

I used K5. First I flashed franco and got system ui crashes. I went to recovery and flashed k5 and got the same thing. I reflashed the rom and the ui crashes went away. I figured it was the kernels doing that because people were reporting similar behaviors with other kernels on g+

Short Feature list:
(Full feature list including Developmental Goals are on Github)
Basic Governors(I won't add Ripoffs, Ondemand is in continuous development to give you a balance between savings and performance)
Built using my own GCC 4.8.x/4.9.x/5.1.x Toolchain built across the standards of Google's own Toolchain..
Simple and no fancy stuff..(more does not guarantee it's better)
Uses a simple free and user friendly application called Synapse by @AndreiLux for configuration purposes(slightly adding more functionality)
A Few Notes:
Be advised that this kernel is best used "As is" i do want to prohibit the use of scripts that they say "enhances performance and battery" just use the kernel as it is..everything is managed automatically by the kernel and rest assured continuous innovations are en-route.
All you need to know about TA-MOD
Finally we get the best kernel for Mi3.. Cheers..!!
wowww Finally, this great kernel is released amazing.
I have tested it and it's the only kernel which won my heart. Battery life is unbelievable.

Hold on guys, again a good news
One of our test team member ( @mad-extrem ) reported that he has tested this kernel on Xenon HD, and kernel was working perfectly.
So, you can flash it on AOSP based roms also.
But still, try on own risk and report back.

Caf based roms.. U can try on Los based as well but won't work prefectly..
I'm using this kernel with slimrom official 0.9 without any issues, works pretty well. Is possible to implement chill governor? it's based on conservative and very good for battery life.
PD: is this kernel based on hellscore kernel? love it in my Nexus 5 with hellsactive governor.
Btw Awesome kernel man!.

Hey. Are you still giving updates to this ROM? I'm thinking to trying it
(I'm new on the world of custom ROM's, so i'm just having fun around testing stuff, i'm adoring it so far ahah. But i still didn't found a ROM where i feel comfortable, and the ones i did don't have vanilla sadly)
EDIT1: I'll actually going to install it now. Let's say i like this one and wan't to stay on it, do you have plans to update it to android 13? I already noticed not many people gave attention to your project sadly... But hey, i noticed it!
