Hi... I am using HTC Desire 816 (A5-DWG) Dual Sim India Version
Configuration:
HTC Desire A5-Dwg Dual Sim
Rooted Stock Kitkat 4.4.2
My Problem is i cant to upgrade to official Lollipop 5.0.2 through official update...
So i am going to Custom Rom... But every custom rom have some major problem... Example CM Rom does not supports dual sim...
im very tired for this all Roms.
S.Rom is perfectly match for A5-DWG Dual Sim. but it does not support Wifi..
i check this issue on xda developers. they says "update firmware Lollipop"..
How can i update firmware please give a good and easy solution...
My Request is i want to update Lollipop official or S.Rom (with Wifi)
or please give good solution for Unroot ... i hates Root...:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
I have the same A5_DWG Indian version as you.. Every time I **** up my phone, this is what I do... Flash this Kitkat 4.4.2 stock firmware using twrp recovery.. and then dont start the phone as yet.. reboot into fastboot from recovery and flash the stock indian recovery for this phone using your pc.. Now after booting up, open the updates page and update as many times as you could

Hii guys sorry if I post it in wrong place. I was unlocked the bootloader recently by htc dev and install twrp... Then I flashed SuperSU to gain root. Now an update come of 990 mb of size and this is clearly mention that this is lollypop update. My mobile is S-ON. I want to update my mobile to lollypop but don't want to become a brick maker. .... So pls guide me.... My mobile is htc desire 820 Indian version

Yeah I have same problem.I tried almost all solution on this but no success.
I think we should wait for ota flashable zip or ruu.
The same problem... I follen in pain with u .
I tryied everything. And nothing. I think we need Stock rom and stock recovery. And lock bootloader. Single sim HTC desire Poland.
Please post a link to download stock kitkat and lollipop firmware for Htc desire 820 dual sim.
Please also guide me to install those stock using TWRP Recovery.
My phone shows there is no firmware installed.Because i wiped all the datas and dalvie caches .
Please help.

No don't do it the HBOOT is diferent it will install the MM OS but you will have random restarts every 3 minutes and you will screw the system of the phone trust me i make this mistake it take 2 days to recover my phone to stock from that .. WE NEED TO FIND A STOCK 6.0 RUU to do the update outside Asia
i just bought moto x play xt1563 first of all i need to know is it global version is my device cable of installing any kind of custom rom and second its running on 5.1.1 i want to knw which is the best custom rom till date for moto x play xt1563 also whole process to unlock bootloader root flashing custom recovery etc and do i need to update my baseband for marshmello if i want to jumb direct on mm from lp .. one more thing kindly suggest me rom with xpose support thnx in advance

I'd suggest you keep stock rom + custom kernel (squid/coffee) !
CM13 still have bugs, especially with dual sim models.
Use the forum search for root and twrp installation!

ok so can i use xpose framwork with stock rom i mean ofcourse i knw i have to unlock bootloader install custom recovery and root bla bla all i want to ask can i use xpose with rooted stock 5.1.1 and one more thing should i update my phne officially to mm ?
Yes update your phone to MM for the security updates.
I would suggest updating your phone to mm via ota so you'll have the correct radio.
Then unlock your bootloader via moto, flash recovery and download dirty unicorns .

custom lolipop rom
my mobile came from factory with lolipop but i rooted and used custom rom with lolipop
