I purchased brand new Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 - 830LC, 8inches screen. after 1 or 2 hours of my first boot an OTA pops up and i decided to update my tablet to Lollipop 5.1.1 from stock Kitkat 4.4. Before the update i did not install any apps.
My problem is after the update. when the tablet sleeps or i press the power button, the screen normally turns to black and when i hit power button again the screen will not wake up (no display ), it stays black. to use my tablet i need to press the power button for 15 secs to turn off and hit the power button again to turn on.
Before the update everything is fine, What i had in mind now is to downgrade back to the stock. But i dont know how. i googled for any tuts for my tablet model but i did not find any.
Hope somebody can help me.

After updating to 3.2.1 my 16 GB TF, I discovered having problems when trying to start the tablet in totally off mode, screen gets totally black but the system seems loading in background, after a while, I can push power button and the screen goes on, when I need to unlock screen to start working
I did a factory reset, turn on the tablet, left in standby mode and then, push the power button and nothing happens: screen dark, no matter how many times I pushed the button, so, I need to get pressed, power off and start again...
You're having problems like that because of the update? My tablet is broken and need fix?
I have restarted my tablet tree or four times after updating, bith before and after a factory reset, and haven't experienced this issue. Maybe a power button issue? Or just a SW issue. You could try flashing a custom ROM and see if the bug is still there.

i have an acer a501 32gb model, last year i rooted my tablet to put a custom rom and for some reason now my tablet wont turn on. Nothing comes up on the screen!! the screen doesnt even turn on..just plain black!! :'(when i plug my charger in, the little light on the side turns on..that the only thing working. I tried doing a hard reset, try to get into recovery mode and even press the tiny reset button on the bottom and nothing happens!!
i have warranty but cant take it back to acer since its rooted and also i misplaced my original rom that i did a back up before rooting it.
any help would be great!!!!
This is probably a stupid suggestion, but have you tried pressing the power button and holding it for several seconds?
My sister has nexus 7 (2012) and yesterday she couldn't turn on her tablet. She is on stock 5.0.1 (i think) and she is not rooted. She managed to turn it on, but it booted it up to black screen and there are only battery, wifi and gps icon in the right corner. Whole screen is black and when you hold power button it offers power off. I tried to google the problem but i didn't find any useful informations.

i resolved the problem by sideloading OTA zip from recovery and didn't lose any data
hey, this morning I went to grab my phone and my screen was not working! however in download mode or on boot up the screen does come on just as regular but when the phone finally boots up the screen just goes blank but the phone acts as if the screen is working, I've tried factory resets and flashing old firmware such as Android 5.1.1 Android 6.0 and 7.0 please anyone who can help let me know immediately, thank you!
Hi, I have a Galaxy A5 2015. Sometimes when I wake up the phone, The screen glitches (Color is messed up and there are lines). But when I press the power button and wake the phone again the screen is back to normal. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? Thanks. Note: The glitch is hard to see because of the wallpaper color. Hi all.
I have this strange issue with my Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 plus (YT-X703F): while using it, suddenly the screen goes off. I cannot say that the tablet itself goes off because I still can see some backlight on the screen. It happens a few minutes after I start to use it. Then I keep pushing the power button till it vibrates and restarts. Again a few minutes and goes off.
Sometimes, after I restart by keeping push the power button, it entries into a boot loop.
Already tried a hard reset but didn't help.
If I succeed in power on and I do not use it for a while, when I get it back it works (mean didn't switch off when hidle).
I'm not able to enter into recovery mode, any combination of power +vol up or down didn't show me the menu.
Any idea how to recover this device? Is there any method to flash bios/rom or anything else I can do, something that I can do without to entry into the recover menu?
