Hello, yesterday I was going to update my system and I press system and internal storage delete so I have nothing on my phone and I tried connecting usb to pc and transfer os.zip but its not working..:fingers-crossed:
You can use sideload if you have twrp installed. You must enable mtp in twrp to get a connection.
But i think you should open this in the q&a thread...
More information: https://twrp.me/faq/ADBSideload.html#
i dont think your phone is without an os, they have a particular part of storage for this very reason.. i think you should just do the unbrick process and you should be fine
If your fastboot is working then install fastboot images of oxygen OS
install first qualcomm or oneplus drivers in pc first then only it will detect ur device internal storage in recovery mode then go into recovery connect usb ur internal storage will show there u can put any rom to flash
disable signature verification before installing drivers on window
or

Good day guys,
I need a help with my nexus 4, I had a rooted rom in my nexus 4 with clockwork mode recovery, I tried to wipe my data through clockwork mode but by mistake I did system wipe. Now there is no rom in the device, I can only access to fastboot mode and clockwork recovery mode, also I tried to install rom through toolkit but my PC & Mac doesn't read any device connected and no device shown in device manger in my windows 7 with using different usb cables and ports. I installed samsung drivers and adb drivers but still I cannot see the device in device manager.
Please if any body can help me to install rom back to my device.:crying:

In cwm there should be an option to mount the device as usb storage. Try that. It should let you plug the phone into the pc and simply copy the zip onto the phones internal sd.
If thats not working try this to set up the drivers. Then plug the phone in and boot into the bootloader/fastboot mode. The open command prompt and cd to the android-sdk/platform-tools directory. Then run the following command:
Code:
adb push /path/to/rom/on/pc/ /mnt/sdcard/
still not working
Still not connected to windows, I cannot do any thing with my device
Download any ROM and do the following:
1. Connect phone to PC when in fastboot
2. Install drivers (if required)
3. Flash latest version of CWM using fastboot flash recovery name_of_recovery.img
4. Reboot phone into fastboot using fastboot reboot-bootloader
5. Boot into CWM
6. Install drivers (if required)
7. Select 'Install via sideload'
8. Flash ROM using adb sideload name_of_rom.zip
9. Follow instructions in CWM
If that still doesn't work, go back to stock using this guide (and read ALL of it):

My problem now that I cannot connect my device to PC, I installed drivers every thing and when I open fast boot or recovery mode and plug the cable, nothing indicates on my PC that there is a device connected even device manager not showing any device connected... I am stuck now, I cannot install any rom to get phone life back.
don't worry! the biggest problem would be that you had no drivers installed!
nexus are super easy to recover and you can play with them safely (except if you flash wrongs kernels from other devices haha)
do what my mate gets up in the post! and it will fixed it.

It's not that it's not showing, it might already be installed correctly. When you have the Nexus 4 connect in fastboot it will show in Device Manager as 'Android Bootloader Interface' under the heading of 'Android Phone (see attached)

i've the same problem in my nexus 4.. Could u recover from that?
Hi
I flashed CloudG3 rom under CWM, and after install it won't boot the system - it sends me to CWM recovery instead.
Figured I would install another ROM but my device is not recognised by windows (won't show up under my computer). Can you please guide me on what I could do to sort this?
Thanks
Install the lg g2 drivers to get recognised by the os, after you download driver for adb sideload and restart, run sideload in the recovery with the usb pulgged in ur pc.
Open Android folder, and then do to platform-tools, drag a ROM there to be installed. Open a command in this folder. Write what is in the cellphone, adb sideload romfilename.zip if i'm right, then it will start installing and then you get out of the recovery stuck.
Using TWRP.
Hi
I installed lg drivers but it didn't help - looked like it was CWM that was causing an issue to get the device detected by computer.
Before you posted, I followed the instructions here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2739739 - this helped to get TWRP on top of CWM. Under TWRP, the device is detected by windows
Now should I install a rom using your guidance above or can I do it under TWRP? Or is it the same?
Ok guys, I pretty much hit a wall here so any help would be appreciated. I got manta with Dirty Unicorns 9.5 rom up and running great. Rom slows down, see a new version, all apps are auto backup'd with Titanium, rebooted to TWRP2871, wiped all but media, tried to install rom.... 1st error ...unable to mount system --tries install indefinetly... no rom
2nd error.... tried SkipSoft ToolKit to install stock rom and start from scratch... fail, cause i cant install drivers, cant turn on USB debugging, and/or device isnt detected in recovery and download mode.
3rd error.... in still working recovery i found philz recovery and install it... says it formatted system partition but also cannot install rom.
4th error.... can't connect with adb and fastboot, cant install drivers etc.
I refuse to dump unlocked device with working download menu and recovery.
Pretty much the same as people in this thread: https://code.google.com/p/android-developer-preview/issues/detail?id=1105
Any thoughts?
Hello domagoj_zg,
please try this Drivers:

Hey all,
I have a OnePlus 2, which had Resurrection Rom (and TWRP 3.0.2-2). However, I wanted to factory reset that ROM. Problem is: I wiped too much data.
I now have no more OS (TWRP -> Reboot -> Reboot System gives a message "No OS installed!").
I do have TWRP 3.0.2-2 and can boot to it.
I have no img of an OS on the device (as far as I know, since I wiped basically everything).
If I go to TWRP -> Advanced -> ADB Sideload, it will go "Starting ADB sideload feature...", hang there for a few minutes and then give a red FAILED on the top of the screen.
I have the phone connected with USB to my pc (Ubuntu 16.10), but I can't find it with lsusb and I can't seem to transfer files that way either.
So my question is: how do I get any ROM back on there? Stock OxygenOS without a custom recovery or whatever would be fine, as long as I can boot to an OS again.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
Greetings,
Rien

I tried installing the drivers I found through Google ("oneplus 2 usb drivers -> result on technobuzz).
After that I connected it to a windows pc and I got the message following message:
"USB device not recognized"
The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it.
So I still can't access the storage.

Wow, never thought of that one... but it was the cable indeed.
Thanks for the help!
as the title says my ta-1000 isn't detected by the adb/fastboot while in recovery mode > apply update from adb
this is not a driver problem as i've tried on both windows and fwul linux.
also, on windows there's no device at all, not unknown or known
i have usb debugging enabled and adb works on both windows and linux while the phone is turned on normally
as soon as i do adb reboot recovery the phone disconnects and never appears
also, the phone is detected while in download mode
i need to sideload an update to revert the recovery back to nougat so i can downgrade
sideloading used to work just fine in nougat/oreo but not in pie
no, i can't install from sd card since i gave mine away to my nephew, figured i don't need it considering the phone has 32gb of space and i don't even use it
anyone solution to this?
