Sdcard contents not where they should be?? - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

vs980 euphoria 5.1.1
Using root explorer this is what I've found:
Mnt/sdcard is blank
Storage/sdcard0 is blank
Storage/emulated/0 is where I find my SDcard contents. Everything is there and when download or take a picture it shows up there as well. Is this where it should be?
I'm unable to use titanium backup because it days insufficient storage and I've tried changing bank up folder with no success. Help!

GT-N8000 JB sdcard0 Issue

I am running on Team Union Rom v3. JB.
I cannot restore / backup files on Nova Launcher.
Default Location (cannot be changed) = /sdcard/data/com.teslacoisw.launcher/backup
MAIN PROBLEM
I cannot access /sdcard/data
The folder is there. And it is empty.
Cannot access or move or create file in it (even with root explorer)
In Files app. Under storage - got 2 directories:
1. sdcard0 = internal
2. sdext = external
ATTEMPTS
Try backup files within Nova Launcher to determine backup dir
Failed. Says backup successful but backup file no where to be found.
Why is my sdcard/data folder not accessible?
Can you access it through storage/sdcard0/data ?
in ics the internal space is called Sdcard in JB its called sdcard0, may be you need to fix permissions to access it as its a system folder are you rooted
Rooted via CWM method.
Root works fine. Lucky patcher, busybox, chainfire 3d all works fine.
I need to rephrase my situation.
I can access into sdcard/data/
But once I am in it. No files are in it / visible.
Cannot create file / folder
there is no sdcard its sdcard0 and on my tablet the data folder is extsdcard
anyways I am not rooted currently as just installed the new rom.
But I think its more the case of permission or may be there are no files in it

Click to collapse
Already check permission. Full permission. Owner root. Sdcard_write.
Anyway flashed a new rom. Redemption.
Sdcard/android/data is accessible. Nova Launcher backup dir is here.
But could not save backup to sdcard0.
Try backup failed.

[Q] Deleted /storage folder in Android File Transfer

When using the Android File Transfer app on my Mac, I saw this folder named "storage" which doesn't have much in it and so I decided to delete it, which wasn't a good choice as I found out everything in the internal storage was wiped.
Is there any chance of getting the lost files back?
Now whenever I connect my phone to Mac Android file transfer app doesn't show up the internal storage folder anymore.
Panicking.
Help!!! Anyone?
Nexus 4 on PA 3.1
It's gone now. You'll need to restore the factory image to get the internal data in order and then re-root/setup the phone

Unable to write in pushed folders

After migrating back from f2fs to ext4 I found out I couldn't touch the files that I adb pushed back onto the device. The pictures I took with the stock camera app wouldn't save until I renamed the old DCIM folder, which caused it to create a new one and proceeded to work normally. How can I make my files and folders writeable again? ES shows that all the files and folders do have RW tags.
I'm running the Android L mako port with the Unleashed kernel.
Very similar problem here, after doing a restore with CWM of 4.4.4 backup, I'm unable to save files to user storage. Owner is 0 root, GID is 1028 sdcard_r, permissions drwxrwx--x.
Can save to ./Downloads though. ?:|
Did you ever resolve your issue?

Write Protected Error when Deleting Files

I'm unable to delete files or create new folders on my phone's internal storage. Getting a write-protected error.
Also, my phone is rooted, and the contents of this clockworkmod folder don't even show up using ES File Manager or Root Explorer.
What do I do to fix this?

storage/emulated/legacy is empty. Also /sdcard links to storage/emulated/legacy.

Hello all I recently installed XInternalSD from xposed app. Before I did this if I opened Root Explorer and clicked the /sdcard path it would show the files on the internal memory. Now it links to emulated/storage/legacy which is blank and only 900MB in size. Is that correct? I swear it's not.
/storage/emulated/0 shows my internal files just fine, and extSDcard shows the files on my external SD card just fine.
The main reason for this thread is my Titanium backup is failing now because the backup location is set to /storage/emulated/legacy/TitaniumBackup and it says there isnt enough free space. This process worked fine before I installed XInternalSD. I can set it to my external SD card I suppose, but read somewhere that post Android 4.2 it should point to legacy.
I am running CM 10.2.1, Android 4.3.1.
Anyone have any experience or advice?
