Gear VR content using cardboard?

I recently bought a nice google cardboard cross oculus style chinese knock off. The lenses and fit are quite good for the low price point. Far better than the comical cardboard diy.
The only problem with buying this instead of the gear vr (not available locally) is that there is no content. So probably a dumb questiom but How hard would it be to rip the microsd card content from the grar vr and port it to cardboard? I know theres only a few apps and its almost all demos.. as i already have a note 4, it seems as if it shouldnt be too difficult to get some of these vr experiences working even if its with more limited sensors.
Possible? Pipe dream?

Your best bet is to ask twistedumbrella as he has the vr and is developing for it

You can get the Gear VR installer here but the problem is that the software is trying to detect a Gear VR and won't do much after installation.

Should I switch from Note 5 to S7 Edge?

Hi guys, 3 weeks ago I bought Note 5, For me Camera is most imported (Video Recording). So Should I switch from Note 5 to S7 Edge?
I watched lot of videos on youtube and sound like S7 edge with 12 Megapixel is better than Note 5 with 16 megapixel? What do you think?

If the most important thing to you is the camera then yes,
it's best to have the S7 Edge because it not only has the
very best over all camera but it's low light ability is way
better than any other samsung model built so far.
Do a low light test with both the Note 5 and S7 Edge
and see the difference yourself.

No. It can't be done.
Personally as far as I can see the difference is minimal. Basically you get better lighting and more accurate colors on picture in exchange for some loss of detail since there are less megapixels.

I used note 5 for an yr before switching to s7 edge. The difference in camera is minimal... if u have the cash go for it but only for camera I don't think it's worth it.

I loved to watch movies with my s10+ on my Gear Vr
Now as samsung has dropped support for VR
is ther any way i can use it on my s20+

You can still get a cheap universal VR headset and use your S20 inside that for viewing videos
