Anyone got a flashable zip of MM stock recovery? - X Style (Pure) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Didn't remove TWRP before the update today and now i'm stuck in a bootloop. Need a flashable zip to stock recovery and continue on with the update itself!

Download a stock image appropriate for your phone, extract the recovery.img, flash with fastboot.

Thanks guys. Any idea on what the recovery image is called or located after unzipping the stock ota? I see two files named recovery but they're both .p (?) format.

Wait for it..

You're not flashing the recovery from the ota, rather from the full firmware package matching your current version (5.1 or 6.0)

Sorry I'm retarded. Took the link above and downloaded the full firmware and extracted it expecting the recovery to be in there. Looked back at the link and the recovery was right below it... Sigh

You can also flash recovery.img in twrp

[Q] Can we flash the stock kitkat rom via cwm recovery??

As the title says can we do it?? will we go back to stock recovery and get unrooted??
There is no method for cwm nor that file... So only option is via odin. .. U can go to sammobile. Com . .. check for the latest kitkat firmware for grand 2... The method to install it given over there... And yes this will unroot your device and you get back to stock recovery.. . (dont forget to make a backup before flashing the firmware!! ) :fingers-crossed:

Agreed.
Odin is the best solution for it. Download your stock rom from samsung-updates.com (please know your country version), run download mode on your phone (if you don't know this, please Google it), connect with Odin, and flash the downloaded stock rom to your phone. Tadaaa!

[Q] Help : Boot Loop When Flased CF Root

Hi Guys,
I got a shiny new Note 4 (SM-N910F). I wanted to root asap , as like my other phones. I went to the CF-Root thread , downloaded the appropriate file i.e " CF-Auto-Root-trlte-trltexx-smn910f.zip and flashed it via Odin.
Now i am stuck in a boot loop where it just says recovery booting and restarts. I tried to flash the Cf-root file twice but the same thing happens. However i can go into the download mode just fine.
I am on 4.4.4
Can any1 please guide me here ? would be very thankfull.
So luckily i had the stock recovery backed up , i flashed that with odin and its back in the OS now. But whenever i try to flash the CF root Tar, it gets stuck in boot loop

can you please explain what happened to my device and is it safe to flash a new recovery and is there anything likely to go wrong
Can you explain what file you used .
To flash TWRP`
Are you able to boot to download mode .

if no then you require a service centrer .

Flash the correct TWRP for your phone through Odin .
That means a tar version of TWRP for your model .
That fails flash a stock rom via Odin .

You are not following the correct way to flash. That is why the twrp wont stick at recovery.
Follow my advice as follow:
1. Remove battery
2. Odin flash TWRP
see the result
