Just received my OP2: great device! However, it's got 2.0.3 installed and doesn't see any updates... It says the latest software is installed... Already changed factory reset.
What can I do to make it find an update?

What version of the update are you using? I'm using the .3 version of the update. Just downloaded some updates to my apps from the marketplace with any major issues -- had to download a few updates twice but that's about it.

.3 of the Froyo update ???
i doubt there is a .1 or a .2
you have .3 because that is what the update is.
unless someone reports otherwise everyone should be getting a xx.xx.xxx.3 file version. (i would imagine)

Yes i got new version 3.36.651.3 . After do a factory reset now market work normal. Everything work fine and normal
The only issue is the PRI never change to 1.40.03 from 134.003 in the 147.651.1 and now with the new update 3.36.651.3
Factory reset didn't help me, I have about ten copy-protected apps not available. Includes Docs to Go key, NYTimes app, Uno, Pac-Man, etc. I tried a factory reset, to fix some other issues, and now these aren't showing up. Anyone know if its because of the PRI issue or just because the Froyo build isn't activated on Google's end?

Exactly, its not the official EVO Froyo yet, it was a prerelease that was yanked by HTC. Thus Google hasnt enabled it in the market. Next week when the official OTA goes out from sprint.
If you did a titanium backup you could try to restore the app that way.
Never rooted, updated perfect to 7.0. Now it says update available to 7.1.1 Every time I download it then choose restart and install it blinks, doesn't restart and says I'm up to date. check again, downloads and yep same think.

Try clearing the system cache and then do the update again. If that doesn't work you might need to do a full factory data reset of your phone.

Hi guys, i Just bought the Nexus 6p, so Nexus Noob here, I downloaded and installed all the security updates month by month and all went well until I got the 7.1.1 update
The phone download 1.2 GB then when I tapped restart and install, the countdown for install started and when it finished it just said your phone is up to date, then when I tapped check it again said there's a 1.2 GB update for Nougat and started to download it from scratch
I did this three times and even wiped cache partition in between but it was just the same
I appreciate any help
Thank you
Update: I did a factory reset and now it just says my phone is up to date, It won't even show the 7.1.1 update to install anymore.
Download the 7.1.1 OTA image from Google, then sideload it using adb from recovery.

That's great to hear. I wonder if it pulled the downloaded OTA during the reset somehow and flashed it... Either way, glad it worked!
I got a question? I am rooted, running dirty unicorns and have received the 7.1.1 update notification. Obviously I don't want to update as it'll probably brick or take root from away. How does one get rid of the ota notification?

Can the update be downloaded and then deleted? If so where would it be stored after the download?

Did you try clearing the system cache? That's generally a good idea after a major OTA.

You can also try clearing the app data for your browser and see if that helps but I would clear system cache first.

Man, no offense, but do some reading. People are telling everywhere we have to wait for the next stable build from Xiaomi. The first stable build was buggy, and that is why is stopped.
Be patient, probably we will get update by the end of January, for those who already did update to Oreo, they got January security patch to fix some bugs. For now, it is better to stay on Nougat.
Watch this video to learn how you can flash the stocks ROM in order to install the OTA update , this method is also help you to overcome from the Bootloop https://youtu.be/sbkZoYs0LP0
Bought a new Fire HD 10 today, it came with OS 5.4.
I was able to get SU and load Google Play.
I did then try to set a new Launcher, but have not yet succeeded.
Now my question:
Can I update the OS to 5.6.x?
Or would I loose a lot of the other items?
Any hints, what I missed on changing the launcher?
You can update, the version 5.6.0.1 is rootable, the version from today, perhabs tomorrow it will be changed
Interestingly enough, it wont update to 5.6.xxx
I even did a factory reset and it fails to update
then i downloaded the 5.6 bin from Amazon, dropped it on the tablet and it doesn't update...
