Guys i need your help, I screwed my phone BADLY. I have D802 from Hong Kong
TOT flashing method starts, flash until 80%, phone restarts, the FlashTool gives meddage FBOOT fail. Flashing fails.
Phone restarts until LG logo and the diode is blinking colors.
There is only download mode available.
Please is there ANY solution? Even guys on IRC #lg-g2 channel couldn't help me.
What i did before:
1. rooted my phone
2. instal autorec, which screwed phone. after that only flashboot mode worked
3. i flashed laf.img to restore download mode, it worked
4. i flashed aboot, tz, rpm, it allowed me to boot into system but screwed touchscreen
5. i flashed TOT with dll from this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2687768
Bricked D802 FlashTool Fail Fix

First double check that you can enter recovery. Hold the power button until the phone completely shuts down. Wait 5 seconds. Then hold power + volume down until it vibrates and LG logo shows up. Release both buttons. Then press them again quickly and hold them. You will enter recovery. Or the phone my offer to do a factory reset which btw won't happen since it will go to recovery by pressing the power button 2 more times. If you have TWRP then you are good. Install ADB on your PC and the LG drivers. When you have ADB, Download (check everything) related to JB and KK. Reboot the PC. Connect your phone with the cable. The PC will not recognize the phone. You have to use a little trick in the device manager first:
Press the windows key + pause/break and click on device manager. Right click on the faulty device with the yellow exclamation mark and hit properties then update driver. Click on the second option then from the list search for ADB or ADB device or something along those lines. Select the LG driver and hit OK. Unplug the phone. The phone must be in recovery still. Inside recovery hit advanced and look for ADB sideload. Check both checkboxes on what to wipe. If you don't already have a rom you want to flash, then use this one. It is a very stable and fast one and I only recommend it because I had the same issue as you and it worked for me. Download that rom and rename the zip file to rom.zip and copy it to the location where your adb.exe file is. You will also need the KK baseband modem otherwise auto rotation won't work. Search for it on the D802 dev thread. Now on your PC, open a command prompt inside the directory you copied the rom.zip (shift + right click) and hit "open command prompt here". Type in:
adb devices (this will ensure that your connection with the phone is alive. If you see some weird string then it works. That is the name of the phone btw)
adb sideload rom.zip

Installation will now begin. You are saved.
Of course all the above only applies if you have acces to recovery. But I wonder how could you screw that one up. It's literally a simple apk installation and a 1 button solves everything app. If you don't have recovery you can still try to save your phone with download mode. Here is a link that maybe helps but I havent tested it
And one last thing: Don't use Flashtool.
thanks man. But unfortunately no recovery. The phone ONLY goes to download mode.
I will try to flash .kdz because tot method didn't work. If .kdz fails then i don;t know.... expensive paper holder

Have the same issue on D802 G2 here. How'd you solve it?
Hello,
I have the LG G2 D801/803 Canadian model with Videotron that is now stuck in Fastboot mode(can't acces download mode) because I flashed the wrong Recovery. I'd just rooted the phone and was trying to flash the TWRP to make a nandroid backup before flashing a new ROM. From what I read all over the the net, I was pretty confident that the Videotron model was in fact the D801 T-mobile version. Guess it was NOT!
Although I've been flashing ROMs for a long time, I've always been careful and now I feel completely lost. I've read, searched, read, searched, but I REALLY need help :
1. I'm not sure which is the right model for my G2 (videotron). I found this thread but that says it's a D803 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2611749
2. But, there is no sub-forum for that model (D803)
3. Is it possible to reflash the recovery ?
4.What method should I use ?
Thank you for your help

Or in fastboot, simply flash the right recovery with:
"fastboot flash recovery XXX.img"
XXX.img is the name of your recovery file.

Hello,
Thank you for the quick reply . That's exactly what I would like to do :good:. But I dont know wihch recovery file would work because I'm not sure of my G2 version. As I said before, there is no sub forum for the Canadian G2 (Videotron) with the files and all (Boot.img/Recovery.img/Laf.img). That's what got me there in the first time : I used the D801 T-Mob with Auto Rec (my G2 said that's it's a D801), but upon other research it seems to be a D803 in disguise. I can't seem to find the D803 forums/files (ex: Recovery.img) to flash it back.
Thanks

Do I really need to return to stock ? Can't I flash the recovery img needed ? My problem is that I can't find the TWRP recovery to the D803 Videotron model. I found the REC for Bell and Rogers (canadian) but not for videotron (Is one of those the correct one?)
Plus I don't have my IMEI #, I didn't wrote it down. As I said my phone can't boot, is stuck in fasboot mode and I can't get to download mode.Unless I find the REC I'll probably have to return to stock.
Thank you
Have you tried with a custom recovery like PhilZ Touch?

Look for SRK Tools here in xda
Enviado desde mi LG-D802 mediante Tapatalk
I dont think my problem is the qhsub_bulk one because my device manager detectes the phone alright does that srk tools also fixes my problem i appreciate you response
Will your phone stay in download mode? If it does, try using the LG Mobile Support Tool program and install the USB drivers. Put the phone into download mode, open LG Tools, and choose the upgrade recovery option.
Nope it stays at fastboot mode only cant go to download neither recovery
I'm new to the d802 so I am not sure if using the LG Mobile Tool or LG Fasher will work with your phone. Did you try either program?
if no one method does not help, try this:

Well, I searched for a solution for a long time but I couldn't find one.
I accidentally flashed CloudyG3 2.5 on my LG G2 Korean LG U+ Variant (F320L).
I got HS-USB Diagnostics 9006 on my device manager and I managed to recover it via this thread.
I couldn't use the tool right way cause they didn't have my variant, so I extracted images from F320L TOT and replaced those aboot.img, laf.img, etc.
I got into the download mode and launched LG FlashTool (the TOT FlashTool) and loaded up my TOT and DLL on the tool and attempted to flash.
BUT the error "CrossDL [F400] to [F320L]" was shown in the log.
I think this problem is caused by flashing G3 ROM on my G2, changing the model name in system partition.
I have no idea how to solve this problem.
I tried flashing all kinds of g2 dll, but failed.
I considered flashing the G3 firmware, change the information on the phone, and re-flash g2 firmware, but I think that's gonna make the problem more difficult...
I tried booting into recovery and flash g2 custom firmware, but no recovery mode.
I tried fastboot mode, but phone just says "Security Error" and won't let me get into fastboot mode.
What should I do?
Please ask me if you don't understand exact situation. Sorry for my bad english...
