[SOLVED] stuck on boot logo - only fastboot mode - no recovery - OnePlus 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi there.
I used my OP2 with Oxygen OS for a while, so today I decided to switch to kingmercians H2OS.
I must say I had fastboot OEM unlocked, TWRP 2.8.7.0 installed and 100% working.
so I took a backup of my OxygenOS via TWRP, then wiped and flashed kingmercians H2OS.
played with it for some minutes, then I didn't find it worth the upgrade.
and now my hell comes.
I didn't read that I had to flash a revert to lollipop script .zip
so I rebooted into TWRP, went to "restore", and selected my Oxygen OS backup I previously made.
restore was successfully, and swiped to reboot.
then phone didn't start. I am stuck at boot [the one with oneplus logo and powered by android] and nothing changes.
I tried to enter recovery with buttons combo [power + volume down], but nothing happens, phone just starts at boot logo.
I can only enter in fastboot mode, nothing more.
I also tried re-flashing TWRP from fastboot, but with no clue accessing it [fastboot command says it successfully transferred TWRP .img file, but I cannot enter it].
is there any way I can get my OP2 to work once more?
thanks to anyone who wants to help me!

Exodus rom, No recovery
Hi
I used the fix, and get the TWRP on my OP2, but I'm Running on the exodus rom, build 06/10/2016. And after entering recovery mod, and reboot, The phone stay on the exodus logo, then after a few minutes, it restarted. So I get recovery, but now I can't use the phone.
Again, used the Twrp to flash the boot image, and restart. So far so good, but again, I lost recovery mode.
Im I doing something wrong?
I changed the twrp in the fix to get the 3.0.2.0 version, but again, enter recovery and system don't load. So I flashed boot, and recovery, but again, just get one of the two of them.
Tried the TWRP Manager to install it, but It says I already have another versiĆ³n or something gone wrong. (yes the manager says TWRP is not installed)
Tried flashify to install TWRP, downloaded, flashed, but again there is no recovery.
Can someone help me please
Thanks

[SOLVED] Recovery loop - Bricked? - Reboot Mode Flag: Recovery

Hello everyone,
I'm not new to flashing and ROMs, so I tried flashing the Android L AOSP build from here. I succeded and wanted to install gapps through TWRP. I don't exactly know what I did. Now when I power on my device, I always get stuck in recovery. I already reflashed the 4.4 factory image and the AOSP lollipop build serveral times, but my fastboot info still says "Reboot Mode Flag: Recovery".
Summary: Fastboot works, I can flash imgs. Every time I start/restart it reboots to recovery.
I also tried relocking and unlocking, but I had no luck.
I hope I get my Nexus 10 working again.

How did you flash the android 5.0 zip ?
Thx Josh
I extracted the imgs from the zip and fastboot flashed them one by one. Then I flashed twrp (the stock recovery didn't work seither), rebooted to twrp and installed pa pico gapps with modified script. When I rebooted, that worked. I booted to recovery a few times to make the Google Now Launcher a system app. Since that it is only rebooting to recovery.
I doubt that it's bricked.
Have you tried flashing the factory image KTU84P exactly like instructed here? :
https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
Nope I already tried that..
once when i was upgrading from 4.3 to 4.4 i experienced something very similar. nothing worked.
the way i fixed it was to relock and then unlock the bootloader (even though it appeared unlocked, something was wrong.) I hope this helps.
I finally got it working. Thanks for the time you spent helping anyway.. So I flashed CWM through fastboot and restarted to recovery. CWM cleared the boot flag properly, which TWRP didn't. Now booting

Help twrp

I have a Huawei P9 Lite and i have installed twrp and android 7.0 on it. Now I want to install Google assistant, but when i try to boot in twrp recovery (volume down + power b) it shows me the screen where it says ''Installing update'' and then freezes at 5 % so i have to hold my power button to power off the phone.
If I dont try to run in the twrp, phone works just fine.
I apologize for my bad english.
Hi there,
I will move your thread in the correct forum dedicated to Huawei P9 Lite for more relevant answers.
Good luck
Bump..
Just to state that I am in the same boat here; as I am facing the same issue. Here's what happened in my case (using a guide found here at XDA-Developers):
-- unlocked the bootloader
-- booted to bootloader and flashed twrp
-- used adb to reboot to recovery (adb reboot recovery)
-- used twrp recovery to flash nougat update (two zip files, one ~1300mb and second ~680mb)
-- had some errors that were expected, the guide said ignore them and reboot after both zips have been flashed.
-- the flash overall was successful as the phone booted in emui 5 with android nougat. However, there was no virtual keyboard; so decided to do a factory reset
-- rebooted to recovery, but this time, the phone booted to huawei erecovery
-- did a factory reset, but to no avail
-- now, i can't boot into twrp to flash anything else. booting into bootloader and using fastload to flash recovery image is successful, but the phone does not boot to twrp recovery; remain stuck on "your phone is booting up" (or something similar).
My phone is not bricked, as basic telephony, wifi and built-in apps are working fine. But, without a keyboard, its pretty useless for everyday use. Any help in this matter will be appreciated.

[Update] Oh, got to fastboot, trying the suggested recovery now.
Fixed
Fixed using the suggestion above. Thanks.

TWRP Seems to be Broken

I cant seem to boot into twrp anymore, i can boot into fastboot and my device is detected.
All it does is continuously showing the twrp logo like its bootlooping into twrp.
Any help is appretiated thanks

After flashing TWRP for the first time (especially TWRP 3.2.3 by SagarMakhar https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=3700668719832241089) you have to wait for nearly 5 min for first decryption to fail.
Afterwards it works as usual.
You will get TWRP logo on screen and have to wait until you get into MENU.
If it is a bootloop you will not bootloop into TWRP but on system.
Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply, but u didn't get my problem, this is not the first time I'm flashing twrp, this happened after I changed from one rom to another, twrp was working fine until now.
And the problem is, if I try to boot into twrp it shows the twrp logo then immediately a black screen comes up then the twrp logo again and so on indefinitely.
I've tried flashing twrp again through fastboot, it succeeds but same thing happens when I boot into twrp again. I've tried different twrp versions as well.
Directly booting from fastboot doesn't work and spits out an error. (FAILED remote: unknown command)
Do u suggest I try to go back to stock rom using the 247 fastboot firmware?

Fastboot flash to 247 will resolve the issue if it was caused due to any ROM.
May be some partition got formatted.

Ok I have a few doubts regarding going back to stock.
This is the guide that I'm supposed to follow right, the one in the OP by you? https://forum.xda-developers.com/as...ow-to/guide-revert-to-stock-rom-lock-t3798420
Is it alright if I am in a custom rom at the moment, can i still flash the fastboot firmware?
And is it safe for me to do it right now with twrp still kinda present?
Thank You so much for your help, really appreciate it
Edit: Ok just realized your post answers all of my questions but thanks anyway

Weird One Plus 6T Behavior

Hello fellow XDA members!
My 6T, has a issue that i cant figure out! Its runs fine, currently on OS 10.3.8
But when i try to load a custom recovery (TWRP, Paint it Black) I enter the command on my pc (fastboot boot twrp.img) It says on my pc that it booted the recovery but on my phone it goes into fastboot mode logo, and stays there for like 10 seconds, and then i get the famous Qualcomm CrashDump Mode. I have restored the phone as per the instructions (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/installing-updating-backup-and-restore-guide-for-op6-6t.4254987/) and the phone restore perfectly, but it wont let me flash a custom recovery to root it. Can someone help please?
Would you specify which version of TWRP you are trying to boot please?

Hey, I'm having the same issue. Were you ever able to solve this?
Use this to boot twrp
