You must have data folder, your user apps and system stuff is stored there. Do you have root? Your Screenshot show the internal storage not the system main index

No ..I don't have root
Without root you can't access the system partition. If ur on an international rom, u can try to flash userdata from B133 rom with fastboot, then you have working themes

Guys I have root and tried to do what is described in OP but 2 things: There is no hw_init folder inside the data of the system partition. I created one and copied the hw_init folder inside the zip. Nothing happens. I can't change any theme... Also I cannot change even the lockscreen photo...

PS It doesn't work in any way! I even flashed B133 rom with fastboot from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-8/general/nxt-l09-nxt-l29-stock-rom-b133-download-t3311839 but there must be an error at the syntax of this command "Fstbut Flash agile Kstkimg" i did the other 3. Then I did flash the 162 rom through TWRP the same! This does not want to work!!! I lost 4 hours and still I am at the same place I was before.
If someone with AL10 device and L29 firmware has succeeded let us know how please...
Step 1: download file
Step 2: unzip or extract file
Step 3: copy or move unzipped file into /data
Simple as that. Don't create any new folders or look for any folders named HW_init. Because it doesn't exist. That's why you're putting this file there

Probably the ones that DO get that to work have already L29 device with L29 firmware or AL10 device with AL10 firmware. I have AL10 device with L29 firmware. I suspect that is the culprit.

No, the mistake you made was creating a HW_init folder. Don't create one. Simply copy the unzipped file you downloaded and move it under /data

Did you do this?
1. Extract ocasie.rar and place both ocasie..exe and a folder in another folder.
2. Place system.img (make sure of this name,no other) in the folder containing contents of ocasie.rar.
3. Run ocasie.exe.
If the system is extracted it would say it to you

CWM backup would work if all I wanted to do was extract my own backups but everytime everytime there is a official update, the update won't work because the /system/app apk's have to be stock while mines is always updated with the latest versions so trying to find away to extract the stock /system/app apk's from the images. I thought all system.img's were a standard format but guess not.

Hi friends,
At last i have found a way to mount external storage as internal and vice versa for xperia sp jb 4.3(.205). For this, you just need to have init.d support in kernel so your system can run a script on each boot which will do the mount in background.
Requirements:
1. Root
2. ((1. Busybox ))
((2. Universal init.d ))
((3. Es File Explorer ))
3. The attached script named "swap"
4. Patience and cool brain
How to do:
1. Install busybox
2. Install universal init.d
3. Make a folder in your external storage named "0" and put all the files of your external storage into it
4. Make another folder in "0" and name it "xInternal". Cut your files from your internal storage into it( So now, you have all ur files of external storage in "0", and all your files of internal storage in the folder "xInternal" inside "0"
5. Download the zip and extract the script(swap) and place it in /system/etc/init.d (Go to your root of the device with any explorer, i used es file explorer, then go to system/ etc/ init.d and paste the script there.

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
6. Set the permission of the all checked (-rwxrwxrwx)
7. Change the owner of the file to "system"
8. Change the group of the file to "sdcard_rw"
9. Reboot and Die!!! Becaue you need to cut all files from the folder "Android" inside "xInternal" and paste it in the "Android" folder inside "0"
(So you have the files of your previous inter storage/"Android" in the folder "Android" of your present internal storage{which is actually your external sd})
10. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!
Download script
Issues:
1. You will see in settings that your external storage is changed as the same size of internal storage but internal is same as it is. Dont worry. Just dont look at this bcz its showing wrong info. you can install file commander and see by yourself that the script works
2. Es file explorer will show you that your internal storage is replaced with your external storage, but at the place of external storage, you will just see obb. But its wrong also, dont worry
For your help:
Before using this script--
Internal storage: /storage/emulated/0 (size ex. 5 gb)
External storage: /storage/removable/sdcard1 (size ex. 16 gb)
After using this script--
Internal storage /storage/emulated/0 (size ex. 16 gb) [
External storage: /storage/removable/sdcard1 (size ex. 5 gb)
Proof:
Explanation:
The script mount and bind /mnt/shell/emulated with /storage/sdcard1, so u have a folder in sdcard 1 which names "0", if u go in /mnt/shell/emulated/, u will see 3 folder named "0", "legacy", "obb". You already created "0", and "obb" & "legacy" will be created automatically, so your /dev/block/vold/179.33(/storage/removable/sdcard1) will be mounted as /mnt/shell/emulated/ and you will get your sdcard1 space in your internal, means /storage/emulated/0/. And you will see all your files of sdcard1 in "0" bcz u have put those in in a folder names "0" in your sdcard1. tricky, huh???
And if you are using this and avoid annoying low internal space, just send me thanks by pressing thanks button and encourage me to make more useful things and tuts in future

5 now u will find 3 file and 3 folder
6 copy that folder and file in persist filder in your mobile root directory
7 now again go to extract zip folder
8 rename system.ext4.win to system.tar
9 extract "system.tar"
10 now rename system to system.tar

I still got the same message from the log.

will try this out and post the results soon.
So I was trying to do this fix on my wife phone (falcon xt1033) and I'm stuck on step 6.
No matter what I do when I go to restore it doesn't show me both partition. Only shows me the system one.
I have my wife phone flashed with LineAge 14.1 and my TWRP version is 3.0.2-1 because I can only flash LineAge 14.1 trough that version.
Maybe this fix only work on older versions of TWRP.
Any other solution for this? or any tips to make both partition show on restore?
Thanks

If you didnot Rooted your P9 Lite yet, here is the simplest and easy guide to do that
[ROOT][P9 Lite] Root, Recovery & Bootloader Unlock by HassanMirza01
2.) And most importantly, A Brain
PROCEDURE:
1.)First of all, Download this Zip file DualwindowsEMUI by HassanMirza01 and unzip it.
2.)You will get a folder named HwMwLauncher and a multiwindow_whitelist_apps.xml file.
Now use ES explorer with Root permissions and then move the folder HwMwLauncher to folder located at /System/app. Or if you are not having this folder in system/app then install this app directly.
3.)And move the multiwindow_whitelist_apps.xml to folder here /data/cust/xml.
If this folder does not exist, move that file to folder /cust/cmcc or comm/xml.
4.)In Last, Go and open this file located at /System/build.prop.
Now add this line ro.huawei.multiwindow = true there.
5.)And just Reboot and on main screen or in an app, swipe with 2 fingers from below or hold down the Recent apps button, multiwindows will be there,,,,
If you want to add your wished app there, open that xml file and add the product pkg name there in apps name. thats it.
If it didnot work. just do a cache and dalvic cache reset, it will work flawlessly then.
Now you are able to use Multiwindows on your P9 Lite device

touchplus with hidable navigation bar
I followed this method form another post (probably your post) and it didn't work properly. From another post I found that I needed to modify the "ro.build.type" in build.prop. Infact thanks to it I can see this voice on developer settings:
http://prntscr.com/ch8vuo
PS. I don't know how to put the image like other guys XDD so you can see from the link
Well done..... But i never tried that dev options method... I write tutorials which i applied myself!!

I have the folders
1. Cust/dt/default/xml
2. Cust_comm/xml
And there is no folder with /data/cust...?
Which one is the right one?
And is this the right place for HwMwLauncher ?
You can choose cust/comm/xml

Deleting the folder worked! The only issue I had after is that it said my data became corrupt. It had a decrypting issue. It forced me to do a factory reset and I didnt care too much about my data so I did it. Then it said it had to encrypt took like 10 seconds then I was able to boot. All worked after that so it seems like there was an issue woth the partition folder. Not sure what it could be thought but your solution workes. Thanks.
I have never flashed an official update before, I've only ever flashed ROMs on TWRP on my previous phones till now. I'm downloading your 2.7GB file. What do I need to delete before flashing?
