Hi, i'm redphx, the author of APK Downloader
I'm working on a new project that allows you to install apps from Android Web Market ( now is Google Play ) using push-to-device feature without having Android Market installed on your UNROOTED Kindle Fire or any devices that don't come with Android Market.
The goal is to make the installing process less painful for those people who don't know how to root or don't want to.
I make this poll to know if any of you interesting in that. This question is for stock / non-rooted users only
Sorry for my English
Hello XDA!
Im sorry for this thread, but Im little out of loop, wanted to know few things. Because my phone now is 2years old and there is no more warranty, I wanna add custom rom and root. Regarding this, I got question.
After installing new rom, I still want to use my corporate e-mail. As far as Im informed, that e-mail app will not start, if it detects, that a phone is rooted. Is there a way to hide root status, so that app can start? (I think endomondo or spotify also had that ****ty "protection" against root).
There's an xposed module that can do that
The name of the module is RootCloak
You can add apps to a list and root will be completely hidden for these apps
Does xposed work on android 6.xxx ? If I remember correctly, there were problems with android 5 at begginging of it.
I have a samsung Galaxy s5 neo with android 6.0.1 and it works for me. Not all modules are supported but a lot of modules work
hey, I'm an avid Samsung user who's taken the plunge to the Rooted Nougat firmware. Now I understand that there's no xposed progress, but my question is: Does anyone know of a method or app to hide Root from basic applications with Root detection ? my job requires an app, and it just recently started denying access to rooted devices. The built in disabler for Supersu does not work. And I know it isn't safetynet based because the xposed module "Security Bypasser" is all that was needed to get by it before I switched to Nougat. any help or insight is appreciated.
Hello,
I want to use an App called Untis on my Android 7.0 device. The problem is, that untis goes trough several servers and the server I need blocks "due to security reasons regarding SSL" Android 7.0. So is there any possibility to pretend an Android 7.1 SDK so I can login to Units?
I have a rooted SM-G928F.
I hope this thread is in the right category.
Regards, DGB
I have an S8 active and it's not rooted but developer options are unlocked (because I knew how to do stuff at some point). I've hit a wall with my banking app of all things and I have to update to Android 9.0 or higher. Is this possible? Also, what's the best way to backup my phone to a Linux PC. Thanks ya'll
