Hi!
I recently encountered an SD Card-problem on my F320S where the SD card not mounts in Android, BUT in recovery. It don't know when it exactly happened, but it happend without warning. I ran the IceX LP-rom without any problems when the SD-card started to fail. I discovered it as all my pictures were gone from the Gallery-app. I chose to flash CloudyG2 3.3 over IceX to see if there was a problem with the rom, but with no luck. Then, I wiped data and tried, but with no luck. Eventually, I flashed a completely new Marshmallow-rom, but the problem occured there too.
What's weird here, is that the SD-card mounts in Recovery (TWRP 3.0.0.0). Does anybody know how I could possibly fix this? If it helps, I can say that it is a Sandisk 64GB UHS1-card. I hope someone is able to help!
Thanks in advance!
I fixed it by installing new Bliss Rom 6.1 and hybrid bootstack, so now it works flawlessly!

Hello guys, well ima little bit frustrated with my lg gt540 flashed with 2.3.3 rom, with cm7. well the problem here is that my mobila came with 1.6 then i flashed 2.1 to it and the sd card worked well, then when i flashe 2.3.3 it doesnt recognize it, not even let me mount it, but it work fine in the recover mode, i can do backup, and i formated in recovery mode and in the pc, and nothing, so can any one help me? also, it is the sd card that came with the phone, i put another one and like it worked, but it starts to run slower until it can open anything, i removed the other card, and start to work fine, so my problem is a bizarre problem D:
well thanks
Hi everyone
Not sure how, at which point and why, but I've screwed up installing new rom, and now while I can install whatever I want, latest CWM 5.5.04 installed, new roms while do start just fine, don't detect sim, battery shows at 0% full stop, etc...
It started with me wanting to update to latest Elite Rom 9.7 based on MIUI by Terramino. Tried 2 versions, multiple re-downloads, every time it would try to install from zip and just returned the install aborted, bad zip message.
At this point phone is wiped to factory reset, dalvik cache wiped, cache wiped, /system mounted and formatted, so ok, need something else...
Downloaded MIUI 2.1.20 (2.6.35 kernel like the one before reset), and that's when I noticed the problem, thought maybe didn't wipe something correctly, so again factory reset, wipe cache, format /system, retry - same issue, after that it's always the same result whether I use CM7, MIUI or whatever.
Following few threads loaded the 5.5.04 CWM in the end, and to my surprise to add to the problem - now when I mount SD card from within CWM to system - it shows with a cd icon in the system and is now read-only, so can't even add anything to it seemingly.
Booting to pink screen still gives debugging access to internal SD card of the phone via usb.
Any ideas from knowledgeable users as to how to fix this problem? Help greatly appreciated!
That elite rom is only for .32 kernel
you flashed it over official gb that's the prob
Sent from my U8800 using XDA Premium App
Thanks, figured that this was the case, just not sure why after trying to load back newer roms meant for .35 it's still messing it up.
Will do full reload of a kernel and get a proper rom to follow suit, hopefully it resolves the issue.
Hey guys, I have flashed many different ROM's, i don't understand why is it fast for everyone else but for me is incredibly slow?
Installed it on NAND, SD Card, SD Card on another partition (EXT 4)
Done factory resets
Formatted the SD Card several times.
Wiped catches
Wiped Data
Basically I have wiped everything of my phone and followed STEP by STEP guides how to install ROM'S correctly but nothing works..
Nothing seems to solve it.
What may be the problem?
Maybe is the kernel, radio? I have no idea...
I really need help.
What rom did you try ? I had an HD2 and ICS (or older) roms were the best for me ; smooth and stable, not too big, even if you don't have all recent features of course.
Hello. I will go through what I have done thus far to fix this and describe the problem as best I can.
Upon booting up a fresh version of Turbo ROM, after being on TruPure for quite a long time, I booted up to find the SIM card and SD card no longer functional. The menu for cellular networks is greyed out and the sd card is not recognized in the phone booted up, or in recovery. Windows does recognize the SD card and functions as normal.
What I have tried:
Obvious things like reseating, removing, reinstalling. Reinstalling when in recovery, when booted up, everything you can think of.
I downloaded and flashed new modems through using internal storage.
I updated TWRP in case something was going on in recovery.
WIFI still works in terms of getting data
The only thing I haven't tried is backing up the contents of the SD card and reformatting due to being at work. But given this is both the SIM card and SD card, I do not believe this will solve the problem.
Has anyone had this issue or has any advice? I am obviously rooted and unlocked and sending this in for repair probably isn't a great option.
Thank you
Edit: Just wanted to add that this SIM issue first popped up after flashing the Pure Nexus ROM, then Turbo, then back to TruPure. All the same result. But it was fine before I flashed Pure Nexus.
try flash NON-HLOS.bin, hope this will help
So I ended up using the back-to-stock tool and went the nuclear option. This allowed the SIM card and SD card to be recognized. If anyone else seems to have this issue, using that method will get you back up and running at least.
Hi xda folks,
I wanted to update the LOS 14.1 to 17.1 from my girlfriends phone and I want to do a backup before just in case.
But my issue is, that when I try to boot the flashed TWRP (i tried twrp-3.2.1-0 and the newest one from xda 3.2.3-r1) and both seems to freeze at the boot splash.
One one thing is, that an adb connection works without issues. Is there a way to fix it?
The installed android/LOS 14.1 works fine and everything else also seems fine. I also flashed LOS recovery to check if it's an issue with the recovery mode of the phone in general but LOS recovery also works perfectly fine (but cannot create backups etc. so it's useless for my purpose).
I searched the forums and didn't find any clue about my issue.
Thank you in advance
Hi again. I managed to "fix" this.
at first I removed the battery for about 1 minute and then I tried to boot TWRP without the sd card with success. Inserting it afterwards produced some odd behaviour (the display buttons went missing).
Then tried it again with a sd card and it worked aswell. I use a 128GB card from sandisk.
Caution! This still can take a bit ~5-15 mins. I haven't measured the time.
