Oh... Might be a launcher/oxygenos issue. Do the regulation thing, wipe cache and data and check.

Doenst help. i did some resarch a it is a common issue. i had to disable the fingerpring scanner now everything back to noraml.

yeh, I got this problem, too, on O2 stock or Skydragon O2, I don't like H2 so didn't try H2 yet
it seems disabling the FP sensor is a workaround but we bought a phone with FP scanner and we don't use it? nah

Wake Up Power Button Trackball

Hi,
I just bought a N1, it works great so far, the only problem it has is when I wake it up by using the power button. Sometimes it doesn't work but most of the time it works.
I thought it was the power button but I installed cyanogenmod, I set up the trackball to wake up the device and it also happens that way.
Are anybody having the same problem?
Same problem. I think is a problem with Cyanogenmod, when having stock firmware never happened tu me.

There's a six second lag between going to sleep and waking up. Maybe this is what you're seeing?
...although I have heard other complaints about this with CM.

I used the stock firmware only two days and I didn't noticed it, but I am not sure and I don't want to flash it back, I like Cyanogenmod. Maybe I will try 2.3 if it comes out soon.

I thought it was Widget Locker. With Widget Lockers it fails often I think because the six second lag.

Waiting time for screen on.

I have tried kj4, kka and sheep rom. All have the annoying long wait after pressing power button intil the screen is lit up. Also tried different CPU governors without result. What is the problem here? And can it be solved?
Is it just me, or do others experience this as a prob?

I've got the same rom, but I don't see the problem you described.... try to reinstall the rom.
ps: you should post this under the thread of your rom, without creating a new one
You may have a defective device.

mine is like 2seconds after the bootanimations and stops at samsung logo..fast enough for me
I have the same problem with my note. I just got mine yesterday. No clue as to what's causing it. I updated my firmware to the latest but left the old kernel so i could keep root access. Had the same problem with both the new and the old firmware.

Just to clarify the issue here:
When the phone is on but screen has been off for a while, the time between pushing pwr button and until the screen lights up is about 1 second, it may not sound much but it just enough to make one press the button once again. Not what i am used to on my previous androids from HTC.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk
Same here. KJ4, stock KKA and sheep KKA. It is annoying indeed...
Probably a user experience thing, you guys who claim to NOT have the issue:
Can you lock the screen and wait for like 10 mins and then on the screen again and time the delay from button press to screen light-up?

Where do you come frome? I mean are u used to Samsung devices or something else?
I am judging this by my 2 previous HTC's whith all kinds of different Roms where I have never seen this.
My thought is that it is on all notes but some people does not see it as a problem but you and me do.

I am having the same issue. Takes 1-2 seconds until the device is fully powered up from standby...
I think I figured out the issue. I disabled weather on the lock screen and now my phone comes straight on. Maybe everyone with the issue can try that and see if it works for them?
Confirmed, getting rid of the weather on the lock screen gets rid of the lag
I'm having the same prob. I'll try removing the weather app and see if that helps.
Great no I cant remember how to remove it. help

This was there even on the s2..
yea, mines also has the same 1-2 sec delay. no weather on lock screen. found it odd, cause i've only had HTC phones so far, and never saw this.
Samsung don't use early_resume in the kernel, that Seems To be more qualcomm Related code.
It's that Code that gives you instant screen resume on the HTC devices et al.
I found this a niggle on the note as well, but have got Used to it,especially compared to amount of work it would take to fix it.

Touch screen after unlock

I am having an issue where the touch screen seems to be unresponsive for a short time after unlock. For instance, if I unlock the phone via fingerprint, pattern, or slide the first touch doesn't respond and I have to tap whatever app or item I am trying to use. I'm using Cataclysm ROM with the most recent ElementalX kernel. Maybe it's a ROM/Kernel thing and I should try stock but just wanted to ask here.

So I turned on "Show Touches" in developer settings so I could see if my touches were registering and I have discovered that sometimes when I unlock the phone there is a touch dot on the screen like something is registering a touch. When I tap the screen it goes away but doesn't open the app I tapped. It then disappears and taking the app again works. Wonder wth is going on. I do have a screen protector on. Wonder if it is that.

Is the touch spot in the same location every time? I have not actually ever heard of a screen protector doing that, but anything is possible.

Just got my rma device and it's still happening. So it has to be a kernel issue or an app. I'm on the latest stock 6.0.1 security update. Need to find the stock kernel.

Pretty sure I've figured out the cuplrit. Seems as though the double tap to wake gesture for elementalx is causing it. If you touch the screen when locked it holds on to that touch waiting for the second touch. Turned it off and haven't had it since going on two hours.

There won't be a fix to double tap to wake. How it behaves, whether it works or has issues, is due to Google's code. Flar2 just enables the option for the user in ElementalX.
Edit: only thing I could suggest is try flar2's Wake gestures app or stick with Sweep2Wake.

camera sometimes not responsive to touch

I have this issue with the Motorola stock camera app. Sometimes it won't respond to touch to snap pictures. In that case, I could still take pictures with the volume up/down button. Or if I lock/unlock screen, then it would work again. Wondering if anyone has the same issue? I don't think it's a hardware issue since I have no issue with other apps. I have tried both LP and MM stock ROMs and TruPure ROMs and have the same issue.

S8 fingerprint lag?

Please have a look at this video as it is driving me insane. Is this lag normal? it doesnt do it all the time and sorry the video isn't the best. The apps seem to reload or "jump". I thought it was just on homescreen but it seems to do it in apps too.
https://youtu.be/RVu2RzM_iW4
Even my S8 lags while unlocking. Sometimes it wont detect my fingerprint. I have registered only my index fingers (each finger has been registered twice, to increase accuracy).
Would be nice if someone suggests a fix to make it better.
Mine does the same thing. It was not a fast fingerprint reader to begin with.

Mine does exactly the opposite. Its always responsive , faster than iris regognition and it unlocks without having to tap screen or by pressing the power button. Actually one thing i actaully love and its practical a.f si the fingerprint sensor. Even the fact that is positioned on the back.
Here too. It acts like my phone doesn't even know my finger is on the scanner.
It usually works, but sometimes I have to unlock it with the password because of this issue.
Very annoying.
