There are many rumours, 50% false proof, and lg which are not really saying anything.
Do you think we will get UX 4.0?
Thread Information: Because The "Will The LG G2 Get 5.1.1" Thread Was closed,
so I re-created the poll, just more accurate.
But I am saying something to prevent this thread from closing.
You are allowed to go a little off topic, but don't get into a off topic fight.
Thank you!
The short answer is NO ?
where is the poll?

i guess he got to carrried away.
i already have 4UIX. thanks to ChelozTeaM. :good:
I don't think so.
Unfortunately there is no any os upgrade or update for g2 by lg until now.
Don not ask source pls.
I think it will. Probably together with a 5.1.1 update though. It just seems unlikely LG would put effort into bringing 6.0 to a 2 year old device.
this has been moved to Q&A And Troubleshooting.
thanks mod
although my G2 is likely dead, i sent to to repair, for now, they couldn't fix it, but they're still trying.
even if i won't get my G2 back, i will stay active on the LG G2 community.
Sorry for the delay, I added the poll

i know the source. its the care center, i got the same answer.
But i checked, what they say is trash. so there is no official way to know.
Its a yes and no answer, as I see alot of sources saying there will be. But you can't trust everything on the internet. On the other hand, you can flash a custom rom like a G4 port to get the G UX 4.0 look if you wish.

Is that Android 3.0 on there??
... yes there is. Go download it!!! And post 50 more links to pointless stuff on development forums.
Nah. Looks like the firmware for their device called the v5, running android, and it's their third release of our, ie v3
At february too, I am sceptical
Hot damn! I was hoping for some android 3.0 goodness (info). Crazy isn't it (killer4o), posting a link to a potential Android 3.0 pot of info on an Android dev forum? Makes no HTC sense....
Makes no sense posting a link to a Chinese website asking a question whether those guys uploaded android 3 in February. I am pretty sure the devs here will know way earlier than you all the details about the upcoming android 3 OS without having you post every single link you can find using google that contains the words "android 3".
Now, now guys, let's not get into an argument here. The OP clearly was just curious and wanted to share it with the XDA members. This is in the wrong section, no doubt, but I'm sure a moderator will sort you out soon.

...and when it arrives, you'll be desperate for 3.1. It's a vicious circle, and yes, getting a life certainly helps.
Guys, just thought i would mention, just seen on android central that it was noticed that LG in the latest financial report just announced that the Upcoming LG G3 will gain a higher percentage of sales when it is released in Q2,
That means that it will be released by June !!
Cant wait to see what specs it has
Ohh, and we can't see more clones of that topic http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2614507
could you please post in relevant thread?

There's no need to keep posting here, refer to the other G3 thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2727537&page=12
Hey, is it possible to port the Android L (17th October) version to the Moto g (First gen)?
Why dont we make a community kind of project to port it?
We'll get GPE lollipop in a few weeks, final and stable. Have some patience.
There is no point doing it, its a preview for developers and Moto G will receive the final version even in two variants (Standard and GPE). Just wait, its not that much time.
BUT THE WORLD COULD END TOMORROW, AND WE WILL NEVER HAVE HAD EVEN ONE LICK OF THE LOLLIPOP!!!!! .....hahaha
I might be wrong, but I don't think it's aosp yet, so it will be quite hard to port. Either way, let's just wait for the final release.

No source = no port.
Why cannot you wait until Motorola or some dev release Android Lollipop?

Search the forum. There was already a thread regarding this idea of porting the dev's preview. A failed and in my opinion pointless idea, but still... Let's noy clutter our forum.
If one gets into a room don't you first try to see what the comversation is about before joining? Or you slam the door open and just quote whatever you want to?

I did search the forum before posting, but could not find anything related to the new dev preview. Oh, and your analogy about the room is stupid MOD EDIT: Nope.

I'm so satisfied with 4.4.4 that I couldn't care less when Lollipop will arrive for our phones

It's exactly the same situation. Source haven't been released. No dev was interested in trying. If you have searched before (and not noe just to comeback to my comment) you'd have noticed. And you'd have spared us this thread.
No, wait. The other thread said dev's preview and this one says "developer's preview". A completely different subject. My apologies. [emoji106]
