[Q] 9505 No signal at all after flashing stock rom ..HELP

Hi I am from Israel, I have a Galaxy S 4 Model 9505 ..
Recently I downloaded version from sammobile .. and flashed it on the device , problems occur simply no reception and I have listed the top status bar just a circle with a diagonal line ..
For the avoidance of doubt the IMEI is ok, the device detects the SIM card and network.
Things I tried to do:
Flash modem according to the guide.
Flash the rom again
Change APN settings
Checked the sim on another device .. the sim is work fine.
What do I do next? Nothing I do is not helping!!!

then i re-flash the rom again .. and it doesnt work .. still no signal .. just like the photo..

Is you phone a "black edition" or normal Black Mist? Coz they use different baseband.

And I'm also on the same bootloader as u bro, I flashed stock and custom roms over and over, changed quite a few modems, did factory wipe and all,
Funny thing with mine is i get signal when I'm in the town area but none when I'm at home or else where, it's so sad no one has an idea of what's causing the problem

I thought they're the same bar the Black Edition themes and some ringtones available on BE only...

flash it via KIES. You'll need KIES version 3 and use "Emergency Recovery" option.

Download latest KIES 3 from Samsungs website. Install it, restart PC. Plug in your S4 let install all drivers then click on Tools and choose Emergency recovery.
When I had issues in the past with my Samsung smartphones whis always helped me out.
After instalation finish, turn On your phone and let it boot up. DO NOT set it up, just do hard reset. You should be ok then.

With Odin you can basically flash anything. KIES will flash the correct ROM according to phone's CSC. and also "clean" the phone.

not registered network

guys
i flashed the latest version of this rom and i got a problem (Not registered network error) this kept on even if i change my rom, then i tried to flash touchwiz rom 4.4.2 orignal and its still not working. please help (((

I have the exact same problem with I9505 if someone knows of a solution plz share.

i did, the imei shows as 00449 something which some says its generic, also my APN is configured yeah, but i am still unable to call anyone

That imei is not correct ; the correct number should be as shown under the phone battery , you have a problem with you EFS folder or your modem . What phone model you have?

from the phone dialer type :
*#06# that will give you the imei that the phone has , now remove the phone battery under there is the imei number original ( factory) are they the same?
Also type
*#0011#
Last line it says IMEI CERTI: PASS ( in my case ) what it says in yours

*#06# gives me 004999010640000 which is not the same in my original packing box or under the phone battery

You have a problem with your EFS ( did you made a EFS backup??) or you have the wrong modem
When did you lost the network conection? what rom /modem you had before ..what rom did you flash when you lost it?

Yes imei is the same one as mentioned on box and apn is also configured but still my phone has no signal.

i always do backup, but saddly it was deleted by mistake
i was on Hussain rom 7.0, and i flashed Slimkat rom 4.4.4, and then my phone couldnt make calls

Go to Settings / connections/ more Networks /Mobile Network/ network operator and after it shows all the different carriers available select the one from your sim card........does it give you any message?

That is too bad ,,
Did you change your modem when you went to slimkat? if so try to flash hussain again and flash the same modem you had back them

i will try now to flash the rom again
nope i didnt change my modem when i flash slimkat, just went and downloaded the rom and flash it with gapps.

Yes its unlocked and was working fine. The signal problem started after the flight mode in airplane. It do show signals sometimes and can make call on emergency number but most of the time it showing no service icon.
I have flashed various roms, firmwares and modems but nothing seems to solve the problem.

i looked up at your links and i searched for 1 solution which is the one with flashing a Fix.iemi rom, and i did it....
my rom is downgraded now to 4.2.2 but the problem persists, its still under the generic iemi and there is no singal anymore, before i had signal but i couldnt make calls, but with 4.2.2 flash i have no signal and no ability to call.
i was wondering if you knew anything about (repair imei on z3x box)
i want to thank you for all the support max, you are really great and very helpfull

No experience with Z3X box , iread some about it , they are very effective in the right hands
You are now on 4.2.2 , do the following:
Flash an older modem , try BMH1 or UBMG9 from here

Simcard not registered on network

I flashed my bootloader (i9500xxugnh2 - v4.4.2) to (i9500xxugnj1 - v4.4.2) here and after restoring my rooted rom, I experience not network registered. Can someone please post for me i9500xxugnh2 - v4.4.2 bootloader ?

Dial *#06# what you see?
Modem / bootloader incompatibility , try a different modem
failure to mount the efs folder . check here

The sim card is fine, it works well in another phone.
I did see it flash the 4.2.2 modem during Odin when I successfully flashed it from 4.4.2. So maybe the modem is the problem. Where can I try other modems?

Should be a 4.4.2 modem , you were using Omega rom? go to Omega Files free / 4.4.2 / modems and download XUGNF6 modem that is for the rom you have now

No I wasn't on Omega, I somehow managed to downgrade my 4.4.2 to 4.2.2 stock firmware and watched keenly what was going on when I noticed it flashed everything including the modem. My 4.4.2 TWRP backup only consisted of data,system and cache restore and I think that's where all the issues started. I've just seen right this very instance that it is XUGNF6 that before I saw this page update with your answer also confirming the same and it doesn't seem to be there in the listing of modems you posted. I have identified it in the stock firmware and am 23min from finishing the entire 1.6GB firmware which I started over an hour ago just incase it resorts to that. Man! this is nerve racking

The problem has been sorted but am getting alot of processandroid.media has stopped working. It is so persistent I cant use the phone but it now recognizes my simcard. What can I do to resolve this?
Update: I rebooted immediately and factory wiped/reset & cache and everything is now fine. The IMEI has been restored using the South African modem.
My goodness! All I was trying to do in the very first place was to install Prism barebones when all went haywire! I remember without a shadow of a doubt that I had not checked sd mem card in TWRP v2.8.0.1 when it cleared literally everything in the phone. For some reason my mem card that had the barebones.zip is now trashed and unusable. Had stock firmware 4.2.2 lying around and just for the sake of it I attempted to flash as I downloaded 4.4.2 as a last resort as I posted here for quicker help since this i9500 is my main communicator. Incidentally the 4.2.2 flashed successfully but trashing my IMEI in the process and my onscreen keyboard had started showing greenish artifacts as I type, reflashing it eliminated them but still my simcard was unrecognizable. Then I go through a nerve racking waiting period of like 5 hrs with my mind in limbo (couldn't even concentrate in the smallest things) just trying to download XUGNF6 modem S.A.
Now atleast I'm back on earth. One interesting thing after all this. My phone is described by all sections in it as official except the Knox warrant void : 1. I have a very strong feeling the hack is right infront of our noses we just haven't figured it out how to reset this counter to 0x0. The whole plan was to be on Prism by now but I just stepped back into stock world. Just as a precaution, I have just booted into TWRP and backed up EFS, cache and preload just incase limbo awaits me ones again in the future. Why is it such a hustle with most samsung devices?
Now before I even think of a custom rom, how I'm I going to protect my modem and other vital partitions from being flashed and ruining my android experience??????

[Q] Signal Problem with S5 G900F (i'm goin crazy)

Hi guys I have a problem with my S5 G900F. I can use it only in wifi mode. When i turn it off the network doesn't work. Also i can make call but after that i lose the signal and can't do anything. The only solution (that sometimes work) is to turn on/off the airplane mode to get back the signal or reboot the phone but the network doesn't work in any case.
I already tried about 4 different rom (and flashed also new bootloader and new modem) but nothing worked. Please help me because i'm goin crazy with this !!

I tried to put back the original modem and the original ROM but no changes after all..
Update: i've installed PacMan rom (AOSP) and i can use LTE mode. still got the problem after call: i can't do another call before i reboot or turn on/off airplane mode

Yes but the problem started also with a kitkat rom...
I tried also to install a rom from Sammobile and also installing another rom from kies. Same situation...

Going back to KitKat and back to Lollipop again doenst fix it?

i've got some trouble going back to kitkat. I've got ext4 error on Odin. can you give me a link with a kitkat rom and a Pit file?
Edit: Found a pit file for me. Installed kitkat rom and tried to use it but same old problem. After a call signal go out.

Right now my problem isn't the network ! I only lose signal (for call and sms but not LTE) when i make or answer a call !

okay! i said that because i have the same problem with my phone and flashing modem/ bootlader and the correct csc ,after i enter manually parametrs of my network,solve the problem. I FORGOT TO MENTION one thing before doing all this, when i disable the lte everything go on ,but it was temporary solution

Hi some news of my situation. I found a little fix for this: Mobile Networks -> Check "WCDMA/GSM" . Now i can do some call but sometimes it drop signal anyway.. Help !

hi i founded the problem.. my carrier blocked my IMEI because the first owner of the phone didn't ended to pay the s5...
i know that it's not legal.. but do you know any way to change my IMEI ?

hello...first sorry for my english is bad...i have one problem before 10 days i install the KHONGLOI-NOUGAT S8+ portV11 and the first 6 days the phone is work very good after that the signal is lost for 4-5 hours and then is come back again the next day the signal is gone the imei is null the baseband version is unknow and the radio is - i tried to install original firmware but nothing change and no my phone is not on blacklist i buy with cash..if anyone cant help me i appreciate..andagain sorry for my bad english

What "original firmware" did you use?
6.0.1 marshmallow
Or
7.0 nougat?
Did you get it from sammobile?
What model/carrier is your phone?

i use 6.0.1 yes i get from sammobile g928f from germany....and i try to put the original from 5.0.1 but every time odin is fail

Make a note of your devices model number and serial number then use Samsung Smart Switch/Emergency software recovery and initialisation.
It should download the latest firmware for your particular device and restore it.
*This process will factory reset your device so backup any data that you want to keep.

You do not have a copy of the efs folder, if you have it restore it and solve it :bueno:

You do not have a copy of the efs folder, if you have it restore it and solve it
You should have done it before with root explorer. Just do the root phone. You should make that copy. If you do not have it now, you have to find another solution.

i flash the KHONGLOI-NOUGAT S8+ portV11 and i lose the imei and my baseband version is unknow and the radio- i flash stock rom from sammobile but nothing i flash with Smart Switch/Emergency software recovery but still the same no imei no baseband radio the same...i want to find one solution to fix please help..thank u for response
