The new update rolled out quite a time before but contained many bugs. Its 3 months since the update rolled out and no update has been released to remove the bugs. I want a peaceful phone not some random reboot. I want to move back to the stock CM 12.0 aka Lollipop 5.0.2 on my yureka. Is it possible to downgrade without rooting?
Seriously!! 3days 64 views and nobody cared to give a damn!!
yeah u can downgrade easily without root and bootloader unlocked just download the 5.0.2 fastboot image and flash it via fastboot!

Hi everyone
I have been using the last 3 stable builds of CM11 on my Note 3 (SM-N9005) for the past few months, the latest being the stable snapshot for November 2014. I tries to update to a nightly build of 5.0 Lollipop but it failed when booting each time (came up with errors) so went back to CM11 for the time being. I now want to revert back to stock to sell the phone, but am having lots of trouble.
I used Odin 3.09 with the last official rom (4.4.2) but once it rebooted it got stuck after the Samsung logo and wouldn't boot. I tried redoing it a few times with the same result, so, worried I'd bricked it. reinstalled CM11. Thnakfully I got a working phone again. I really want to try and get back to stock but am nervous about trying again.
I can follow instructions etc to do this, but Idon't understand bootloaders etc. Have I stopped myself being able to get back to stock 4.4.2 by using CM11 4.4.4 or even by partially completing an upgrade to a CM12 nightly? If I could find a Clockwork Mod backup of 4.4.2 would that install from recovery or would I get the same boot issue as I did when I tried a clean install?
Hope someone can advise me.
Thanks

Try to flash lollipop leaked!!!
I'm a bit reluctant to do that as the nightly cm12 failed. Do you mean a leaked stock Lollipop 5? I just wanted a Samsung firmware on it before I sell it!
Is it possible to downgrade the N910F from Lollipop (POF2) to KitKat (ANK5)?
YES, IT IS POSSIBLE.
Before yesterday I've never used KitKat on my Note4.. When I bought the phone I had no time to try it (KitKat) because I've straight rooted it and flashed a Lollipop based ROM.
Then yesterday I wanted to try a KitKat based ROM and I've lost about 30/40min looking in the forum for the answer to the question Is it possible to downgrade the N910F from Lollipop (POF2 or whatever) to KitKat (ANK5)?
I could not find a proper answer.. there was this BOF5 bootloader can not be downgraded but it was always in a "strange contest" and it did not convinced me.. after 30/40min I said ***k *t and I just performed a full wipe from TWRP, flashed ANK5 modem and bootloader via ODIN, and installed the KitKat ROM from TWRP.
Sorry for the Question/Answer but this thread may will help someone to save time.
P.S.: My KitKat adventure lasted only 10min... It looked ugly to my eyes! Went back on POF2 and now trying out AICP

When you flashed that lollipop-based rom, that was a custom rom I assume? Did it contain a bootloader? Maybe you were still on the KitKat bootloader.

Yes, it was a custom ROM. No, it didn't contain bootloader. No, I wasn't on the KitKat bootloader, for sure my bootloader was POF2. Trust me if I tell you that before the KitKat ROM I've flashed too many Lollipop ROMs with many Lollipop bootloaders.
I'm trying to do this but i fail in every action at odin with this SW rev. check fail. device 2 binary 1 in my SM-N910C and in odin its fail... ( i gets this after recovering my phone at kies after a bootloop )
i have a note 4 n910c with L.P 5.1.1 how a can downgrade to K.K or 5.01 L.P always fail when i try with odin. help please
As ive read, when the S5 gets updated to marshmallow the bootloader is updated too. Now im on 5.0 rom and using dualboot to boot CM13 also. Would I be able to boot those AOSP/CM roms again with this updated bootloader too? To be clear, im asking if i can still boot those custom roms (marshmallow not lollipop) even after the bootloader update. The update appeared today so im asking before updating.
Thanks
Starting from CM13 nighty 20160524, the MM bootloader is supported. I don't know regarding any other AOSP ROM.
The important change is https://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/146515
last time i unlocked my phone and installed another rom, but i dont like that. so i thought to revert to stock rom.
then i flashed stock cm12.1 , then again boot loader was locked.
then i unlocked bootloader only, so as if in any case i need to recover my data by rooting.
today i read a post on yuplaygod forums that they will release an ota soon,
i want to ask is there any problem if i install the OTA, any chances of device bricking or something else, because bootloader is unlocked, but phone is not rooted , everything else is true stock.
I sent my phone to service center when it has 5.1.1 of cyanogen mod and I don't know how they flash 5.0.2 of cyanogen mod it doesn't install any ota updates so I rooted and manually installed 5.1.1 officially by YU but the problem remains same. Can anybody help me.
Sent from my YU Yureka using XDA Labs
I have been away in Spain for some months and have not keept up with the XDA scene.
No when im back I wanna try some of the Oreo builts on my S8+ Exynos, but im reading about people getting cut off for 7 days, people bootloping, that if you upgrade to Oreo you can never root of flash a custom rom again?
Im sitting with a nougat build on my phone now, Batman rom 1.5 with TWRP 3.2.1-0
Is it safe to flash the Oreo custom roms in this forums or do have to prepare anything first?
