N9100 Stylus not working after 5.1.1 update - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I've bought a Note 4 Duos (N9100) which came with Android 4.4.4 and everything including writing with stylus was working.
Then I updated it to 5.1.1 via Kies and stylus function went blank. Phone doesn't even identify the stylus. Tries reflashing the same rom with odin but came out same result.
Can I do something to make the stylus working?

Help!!! Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition 4G LTE S-Pen Functionality Gone!!!

Hi,
I just recently bought a used Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition on ebay. it was a factory unlocked version from singapore from a highly rated seller
This is the tablet ebay item number 281216040890
It is the 32GB 4G LTE Model with a snapdragon 800 chip inside, model name SM-P605.
I started it up and it had Android 4.3 Installed on it with the older interface, the s pen and everything else worked fine just a little laggy. literally every 10.1 2014 edition I had been seeing around had the 4.4.2 Kitkat Update
So I decided to update it myself and maybe a custom rom afterwards.
1) I downloaded an official 4.4.2 Rom from live.samsung-updates
2) Afterwards I downloaded the CF Auto Root files from chainfire
3) And finally I dowloaded the TWRP recovery from here teamw.in/project/twrp2/207
I'm a new user and i'm not allowed to post outside links by the way so I couldn't post direct links. I'm also going to post this in the Note 10.1 troubleshooting section just to get a wider response.
I followed all the steps to update. Step one went well but then I reached step 2 and I bricked my device after flashing the CF Auto Root, I had a static like screen and went into an automatic infinite boot recovery loop, absolutely no way to turn it off so I had to hold the download mode buttons for like 20 seconds to thankfully get back into download mode. I tried this over 5 times, the CF Auto Root was always bricking my device.
So I skipped step 2 and went straight to step 3 but his time the TWRP recovery menu was faulty and not working at all like it should, tapping button A would open Process D etc. I think this might have been because I didn't have root access.
So I just decided to not have any root and just rock the stock official 4.4.2 like that, then guess what. THE S PEN DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE!!!!
It shows "s pen has been detached" when removed and the air command menu shows up but the floating pointer is missing and no taps, clicks, jotting or writing registers LIKE AT ALL!!!. I know its not the pen because the tablet s pen works fine on my note 3.
I've reinstalled the 4.4.2 firmware multiple times, multiple regions, wiped partition, done factory resets etc. The tablet portion works perfectly but No S pen.
the note 10.1 without the spen is like having a galaxy tab 4 10.1 inch tablet it's just a tablet now with no s pen.
The knox counter has tripped and samsung canada and usa are telling me the baseband version in not north american so they can't help me.
AM I REALLY THIS SCREWED???. SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD DO OR TRY.
THANKS IN ADVANCE.
Spen
Look at this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2782528&page=9 the answer to fix your s-pen is in their. Hope it helps you.
Hi, it seems you have not installed the lastest twrp version. They 'very fixed the problem there. And this works fine with stockrom.

[Q] Note 3 N900 Russian Stock 5.0 ROM Crashing

I have the international version of Note 3, bought in Argentina (with Exynos). Yesterday, I installed the lastest Lollipop stock ROM from Russia.
I didn't do a full wipe. Everything works well (except Swype, which I disabled for now), but if I turn on Wifi, it doesn't detect any network, and in a few seconds, the SAMSUNG (booting) screen appears, and keeps loop booting like that until I turn off Wifi.
What may be the problem? Should I do a full wipe? Should I try to access the log and see what fails?
Thanks in advance.
Factory reset flash a new firmware .
In that order?
Is there any way to know what is failing without factory reseting?

SAMSUNG NOTE 3 SM9005ZSUGOL1 PROBLEM AFTER LOLLIPOP UPDATE via KIES/ SMARTSWITCH

Hi Guys, Please I need your help.
I purchased a used Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N9005 (LTE Hongkong TGY Variant) in the Philippines.
Its is not rooted. Android version still at 4.3 when i bought it.
Tried to update it via OTA at 32% it will fail and then reboot. No changes will be made after the reboot.
I tried to update it via Samsung Kies / Smartswitch it worked.
From Android Jellybean 4.3 , I updated it to Android Lollipop 5 via Kies / Smartswitch.
But........
After the update If i will use or touch a certain application the phone will start to reboot by itself.
This happens very often like every 15 minutes.
The batter drains fast and the device heats up like crazy when i use the camera or i open up a game app then it will reboot automatically.
-Tried to do a soft and hard reset already by pressing volume up, menu key & power of button,
I cleared the cache and wiped user data already. But still nothing has changed.
-Tried to re-update the handset via USB on Smartswitch for Android 5 Lollipop but its still the same.
Here are my Note 3 handset info:
-Handset is from Hongkong(TGY)
-Baseband Version before the update: N9005XXUBMI5 (Android 4.3)
-Baseband Version after the update: N9005ZSUGOL1 (Android 5) ( i provided a screenshot)
-Is it safe to update the phone via Odin 3.10, then get a Firmware from Sammobile then flash it?
-The phone is from Hongkong (TGY), should i choose a Firmware from Hongkong? Or Is it ok to choose a Firmware from the Philippines? since i am here right now.
-Is it okay to downgrade from Android 5 to Android 4.3 or 4.4.2? ( Would you recommend it or no?, others are saying if i have upgraded my handset to the latest android update I cannot go back anymore to a lower Android version, if i do i might encounter problems or worst case i might brick the phone.
-If possible i do not want to root my handset, but if it is needed im willing to do it.
Please guys , i need your expertise on this. I really need your help badly to get my phone on its working state again.
Your reply and tutorials will be much appreciated.
Thank you and more power.

Phone (galaxy s5 active SM-G870A) screen stopped responding after factory reset

This is a new phone (galaxy s5 active SM-G870A as it says on the back sticker) i got a couple days ago that has never been dropped, been exposed to moisture, or had any physical damage. I upgraded to android 4.4.4. and decided to downgrade to 4.4.2. through the stock firmware i got from multiple sources (sammobile and a couple others to make sure). It successfully flashed, i factory reset/deleted cache, successfully booted up and the screen will not respond anymore. I Had no issues with it prior to this. I reflashed through odin (ap slot) as mentioned several times to make sure. Has anyone have similar problems or can someone point me to a forum with a solution? I suppose it's technically not soft bricked since the buttons respond and the screen works besides not responding to touch so i am somewhat lost in finding a solution.

A7 2016 touch keys not working after flashing

Hello everybody
I have a samsung A7 2016 SM-A710x live demo unit
I flashed A710F android 7.0 successfully but both touch keys (recent and back) not working any more, and not even lights up.
I tried to flash older versions
android 6 and 5 with pit file but problem not solved.
Also I tried the code *#2663# to update the touch keys fw but I cant find anything related to the touch keys fw not even the fw version, its like the whole part related to the touch keys has been cut off from the menu.
I tried the TSP fw update but nothing changed.
I tried to flash A7100 but odin gives an error.
Any Idea how to solve this issue?
I've been trying to fix this issue since 3 weeks now
