Hey guys I have been using Dandvh and Mattbooth's (I think theyre the devs) JFLTE-GPE ROM for ages now and my phone has just recently started lagging heaps and the battery is not lasting as long as it used to so I feel like getting a new ROM. I'm looking for something that's close to stock Android and is fast. If anyone could help me with finding one it'd be awesome!
Thanks in advance.
Slimsaber (5.1.1).
Any AOSP from the JDCTeam (5.1.1 and 6.0.1).
I do recommend marshmallow, as it is snappier than lollipop. Either way, all 3 roms are fast.
I'm on SlimSabre 5.1.1 with _bon_bon's disable zram script and it's pretty snappy !

Make sure your battery is in a good condition. The lagging and draining could be related to a faulty battery.

im in the process of switching ROMS i did have Fresh 1.0 and it ran pretty smooth really no compliants until recently my battery was draining SUPER FAST!! I couldnt take it anymore so i went back to the stock rom using the RUU recovery. Im trying to decide which is the best ROM out right now and it seem like alot of good things from the Android "2.01-R5V0-6" ROM, just curious has anyone had major issues with the battery life and with which ROM? Please all help would be great and which ROM i should choose to be the smoothiest and most battery life friendly
Battery drain is a 1.5 issue, not a Freshhh issue. Any ROm you use that is based from 1.5 is going to have that issue. You can ease the pain by disabling all location settings, as this is what causes the drain.

I'm getting tired of the ROMs, literally none of them are optimally compiled. I tried ArchiDroid 3.0.2, Archidroid 1.7.18, OmniROM 4.4, Glamorous S5, CM11, CM12 and others and ALL OF THEM have battery drain problems, especially those regarding WiFi. Seems to me that removing WiFi battery drain problem while screen is locked is super hard or something? And yes, I tried using apps like JuiceDefener and others for battery life, but i find that nothing extend battery life better than stock ROM/kernel..

Try Blekota's note 4 rom.. Its pretty stable and fast though...
Then go back to stock rom and enjoy it! People who made all these asop roms doing it mostly in free time and for free. Also why don't u start development and bring us battery power rom ?

Would be lovely if we could get a brief introduction of the different custom ROM's out there for S6 Edge Plus.
I can update this post with what I/we learn.
Okay, I can begin with asking; which ROM has most features, customizations and 'neatyness'?
I'm currently running BoBCaTRoM.

As we have not much options in present days, you have a chance to try them all. In my opinion; Audax is the best.. Seems not has many features? You can do all as you wish. Thanks.
I'm currently using the CRISSCROSS ROM v1.6. It's extremely good and you can add and remove alot of stuffs on the ROM (under AROMA Installer) before you are installing the ROM. So there are alot of options to choose from.

Any more input?

There is no minimal battery rom. However if you're looking for 4.4, google 'multiX tkari4'

Hey guys,
I've ran this thing stock from day one. I've loved it, but the itch is coming back. I need mods. I need kernels. I need mo cowbell!
That being said, I think I'm still going to run stock for now. Anyone recommend a specific kernel? I've been looking at HolyDragon a lot. I'm looking for a bump in performance with a significant jump in battery life.
Also, anyone use that stereo speaker mod? How does that work for you guys on speaker phone calls?

You need to flash sky dragon ROM. Its made by the same dev who codes holy angel kernel and the kernel is included in the ROM. I can easily get over 8hrs of screen on time and the mods are pretty decent. I wish they included status bar and navbar colors on the mods but oh well. The ones they come with are enough to keep the phone looking fresh , especially the nifty built-in font changer. Trust me you won't regret it.

If you want great performance and battery life, check out the SkyDragon rom, it's got the HolyDragon kernel built in and I get 8-9 hours of SOT.
In my opinion I feel that Smurf Kernel ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6t/development/kernel-smurfkernel-2-0-49-t3868360 ) gives me the best battery life. I recommend this one to anyone with this phone.
I'm running stock rom with Omega Kernel. After calibration of a day or so battery life pushes me towards 8hrs of SOT with 42-46 hours of battery life.
