Hi,
I'm a new user of this forum, hope not to be in the wrong place. Sorry for my bad English, I'll try to do my best.
I have recently rooted my S3 neo for using Coolify, now I have unrooted it. I wanted to search for new updates, but my device's status resulted "custom" and not "normal" (damn). Before I realised it would have been good-for-nothing, I did a factory-reset then installed the latest backup. So I restarted using my S3 but now I can't load images in whatsapp and save images in my browser (chrome dev). It says loading image has failed. (Data connection and wifi aswell)
Today I'll do a new factory-reset, then I'll write here what happens, I'd be glad if you could help me before I buy a new phone :crying:
Thank you so much!!!
Please if this thread is in the wrong place please replace it (thanks to The_Merovingian for having moved this post)
Download your device firmware from sammobile
Backup all your data
Open odin and enable nand erase all
Flash firmware
You may repeat this procedure twice or thee times until you get official status

The new factory reset has been completed successfully, now the device runs properly, I just have to bring it to official status. @ziad311 Thank you so much!!

Dr. S,
The programs, which fail...
They need to be reinstalled
And about the official or modified things...
They sometimes lie, so don't worry about that

Hi, I usually like running official.. Anyway, I saw another Galaxy S3 Neo which had the new Samsung logo (the one that appears during switching on the device) and things like that... so I said "MUST update my S3" but... that's it :sly:
Have a nice day!

There are two types of s3 neo's
S3 NEO : GT-I9301
S3 NEO PLUS : GT-I9301I
I have s3 neo plus, maybe that's what you are talkin' about xD BTW plus doesn't appear at the bootscreen, it says only s3 neo

Hi all,
I have read a lot of stuff about the Note, and tried to figure out how to really change my note into the N7000 instead of the Chinese version I now own.
I have not found a answer on this issue, or is there none?
Of course its rooted, flashed numerous of roms, and under settings/phone/ it says N7000...
Still if I boot, always the GT-I 9220 comes up, and flashing stock "European" firmware does not always want to work...
Anyone a idea?
Thanks in advance....
I think you have to copy a new boot image png into /mnt/.lfs/ but i'm not sure. Try to google "change galaxy s2 bootlogo".
Hi Guys!
I got a classic Samsung Galaxy S i9000 and i used to mess with the roms and Kernel, however ... I've recently upgraded to Samsung Galaxy SIII and i decided to be a good brother and pass my old i9000 to my sister ... However, before i can , i need to fix this !
Is there a way to make the i9000 completely stock again? at this point the CWM is still installed even after factory resetting the device..
It's been quite a long time since i messed with it and i dont trust my own knowledge anymore so i figured i'd post a message.
If there is a quickfix for the Wifi, that will do too :highfive:
Thanks guys !

Hi XDAians.
Guys i own a Samsung galaxy S4-I9505 and few months ago i tried root it and some how i did it successfully and later i unrooted it again i am using back the same stupid touchwiz but the problem i am facing is,
1.My phone doesnt gets automatic updates.(i have to do it manually by downloading firmware from samfirmware and then installing it through Odin)
2.Knox cant be installed.
3.The camera app sucks to the coreeeee auto focus sucks every time i get a blued image. out of 5 i only get one clear image
3.After my 4.4.2 update, i cant hide apps. And the touchwiz is so much bad compared to 4.3 .
So my question is is there any way i can fix those above problems?
Now i am willing to root it back again hence i wanted to know which custom rom comes with all the system apps and software(such as wifi direct etc etc) pre installed as touchwiz and which lets me free do play with it!!!
last time i installed CM i didnt have wifi at all and it was really a mess to get that (actually i didnt ) so unfortunately had to get back to touchwiz .
Guys please link me to full root tutorials and how to install custom rom too.

Are you somebody else or is this just another thread on your non booting problem ??Ten Plus posts on the same subject ??
You changed to the wrong model firmware and that's a guess as you give no indication .
Another guess is that you ticked the wrong boxes in Odin .
I think one thread is enough.

Hello, I have a Tab A6 2016 (SM-T585) that won't boot with the error message "could not do normal boot, invalid kernel length"
This came out of the blue, as its completely stock.
It's not rooted so I have no clue if I can flash a new oem rom to it.
Recovery menu is not available so I can't try hard reset, only download mode is available.
I'd like to fix it so my kids and girlfriend has a spare (I currently use an old outdated lenovo)
Anyone have a solution or workaround for this issue? Or do I just drop it off at the recycling centre?
You could try flashing stock rom with Odin. Helped me with similar problem. All data remains
