[Q] problem in my samsung galaxy y after rooting

Hello folks,
Yesterday I followed this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1679563) and root my phone. But after using one day I didn't feel good using jelly bean on my galaxy so I decided to unroot my phone and revert it back to my previous version that was android 2.3.6 gingerbread. I unroot my phone and did factory reset from recovery mode but now my phone is not working and even recovery mode is not opening. It is just showing starting logo. Please someone help me to fix this problem so i can get back my phone.

Use Odin to flash a fresh stock rom. It will solve your prob. :good:

My mobile only displays the starting logo please help.
Chetan or some body please help me my galaxy y displays only staring logo.
I rooted and unrooted this caused a big massive damage to my phone please help.

Dont panic that is noo big problem.
U just need to flash a stock rom via Odin nd it will be OK
Find tutorials in my signature nd read it all :good:

first of all u had noooooo idea on how to revert back to stock rom and u did some **** -_-
next u wana do something u dont know how to do
ask how to do it
rather than asking hoe to fix the problem u caused

try flash rom via odin

try a custom rom

After again rooting problem

i using odin but my phone was not diteceted in odin bcoz volume up + switch off + home button not work so i am not put my device in recovery mode. what do for my device will show in odin.

well you dont use recovery mode for odin you use download mode
vol down home button power button
also you need samsung usb drivers installed
if you dont know how to use odin please search for a guide

volume down button was work but drive not install proparly in pc.pls tell me any link where download driver and install it manually

thanks bro... My phone was connected after samsung driver install. i first download on one link but it was not able connected.
my phone was stated with original android 2.3.6. again thanks....

dude u r very confused...you have actually instaleed a custom rom

Hey so i BRICKED my galaxy s4 by trying to wipe it and now it says firmware encounter

Hey so i BRICKED my galaxy s4 by trying to wipe it and now it says firmware encountered an issue... please select recovery mode in kies and try again... all the stock firmwares I have tried did not fix my phone.. im was on 4.3 and tried rooting it and never got root access so I wanted to wipe it all then It became bricked... please help me if ya can! thank you!!!

Pull the battery for 10 sec and put it back. Then press and hold power+volumedown inorder to reach download mode. Then flash the stock rom again via odin.

WHAT???? don't understand what you just said..

Provide all info before asking help multiple times on the same problem.
Which model exactly ? I9500 or I9505 ?
Which type of brick ? stuck in bootloop or what ?
Can you enter the download mode ?
Before flash random firmware have you try using Kies and the Emergency Firmware Recovery ?

Help , no os installed .

Cant turn on my phone , i can only get into my cwm recovery and download mode .
before this was using twrp recovery and accidently format/wipe the phone , it reboot and can't turn it on after that ,
need serious help here ..

Go into download mode, and flash a Stock ROM via Odin. You'll be alright :good:

Do you have the drivers installed?

Check the drivers, check KIES isn't running (kill all processes or uninstall) -- And make sure you go into download mode, start Odin then plug in your phone.
EDIT: Just seen other two guys posts which contain what I posted also, :good:

if you got cwm and you can get a custom rom on external sd flash that way
if you want to do with odin i would go stock

Cyanogenmode is a custom rom. Put it in external sd and flash thru cwm or twrp

[Q] newbie question ! customer recovery for 4.4.2?

Hey guys,
I know this is kind of answered in alot of different places but nothing is guiding me to the correct files, just want to be safe and figured this was the best place to make sure i hit the bullseye.
Just updated to poland 4.4.2 kitkat and was looking to install a customer recovery so i could grab the latest version of xnote and a few other goodies. Could someone please guide me to a download section/link for cwm? or maybe twrp? which ever would work easiest

i'm having alot of issues installing this ! loaded using odin PDA.. everything looks fine, phone then restarts and boots normally...odin says pass ! i try to jump into recovery and it's goes to download mode? Could the issue be because i have just updated from 4.3? i also had twrp installed on my phone

yep reads normal booting into recovery then just dumps into download mode "could not boot normally" reads at the top of of the screen

think i will have to reinstall the firmware to do that because factory recovery is gone as well.. unless i can factory reset anther way? that being said what is a good alternative firmware maybe the poland 4.4.2 is the issue?

Yes reset it with Odin, you have n900 ? try Russian firmware, after successfully reset make a factory reset from recovery, than root and flash custom recovery

would twrp 2.6.3.7 work on 4.4?

yes i can enter recovery and download mode

Download a lollipop stock rom from sammobile flash via odin and u will be back

Install twrp with odin you can get it from official site and root from chainfire site https://download.chainfire.eu/696/supersu/ flash via twrp and you are good to go
