I have read and heard a lot that the dev team release updates for OxygenOS on monthly basis but after the December update there has been no update. January has gone but still no update yet. Plz confirm what will be the next update. OxygenOS v2.2.1 or 2.2.2 or Android M 6.0 or Android M 6.1???
Nobody knows.
They are working on marshmallow. Is pointless continue working on lollipop.

Nobody says they should work on Lollipop, but they should merge the security patches and make security updates.

Is it still possible when Android N is released to build for the XZ a nougat Rome ?? Or just the XZ no longer. It is already more than 3 years old now and has many Android survived versions. Some developers here have indeed managed MM bring to the XZ for everyday life. Whether Android N is still possible would be interesting.

I think its possible through cyanogen and aosp, but it will surely take a lot of time to develop such a rom...
Nexus 5 and even Xperia M got first builds of Nougat (of course not stable for daily use) but it's darmn impressive.
There is hope for Xperia Z and it will require a lot of polishing (like removing Vulkan API).
Nexus 5 have now "stable" N rom
It's possible, the milestone for XZ was Marshmallow. With working Marshmallow it'd be easier to boot Nougat (N5 needed 10-15 patches for M device tree to make it bootable)
On Areamobile i have read a Modder has Port N on Nexus 4 with the same SoC. Lets Do it!!!!

Hey bro, check your inbox please.
So N is released this evening so the next two to three weeks I'll keep an open eye for test versions of n for our beloved g3.
In my opinion there is no chance for stock so CM14? ?

Most definitely, but I will have to dual boot fulmics or stock for the camera sadly.
Overhyped update.......should be called 6.1...... Just a 50mb update......wtf google.

1.1 GB update for Beta Android 7. Lot of changes so going Nougat seems right.
Wonder if fulmics or other custom ROMS for LG G3 will continue on Android 6 MM or will they embrace Nougat later this fall?

50mb for beta users that used developer previews (6p and 5x)
its 1.1gb full image
I'd love to get excited for android N but I don't want to give up the stock camera, I've yet to find a decent camera on AOSP roms.
Snapdragon camera is my favorite when I'm using an aosp Rom. I like it because it takes pictures quick and they come out pretty decent.

Guys snapdragon 801 chipset is dropped from support so nougat will take longer as we thought but it's already running on an snapdragon 800 nexus 5 so it will come some day

Sorry to hear that. I was hoping for a quick fix to run Nougat on Lg g3.
Guess maybe Fulmics or other custom ROM's will get updated at a later time?

What for the hell tell you about Nougat Update??

I am rooted using Magisk and still get updates from Motorola. But you still have to install stock recovery to install them. Is it possible I won`t get the update for nougat but still receive minor updates?

Hello I want look new updates for my Axon 7 whit B02 firmware. I know it gives B03, I think to remember to read from B05. But when I search updates they say all is OK, no update. What can I do?
Gesendet von meinem ZTE A2017G mit Tapatalk
There should be an OTA update for B05.
You can install it manually, by downloading the B05 update from here and put it the update.zip on your internal sd card.
Then go under update in the settings and it will say that it found the update.
The link don't work [emoji22]

I was on B03 and the OTA update B05 appeared for a week. Didn't install it because there was no improvement. But after that week , without reason, it disappeared...still on B03 and system seems to be up-to-date...
Thank you for information. Then I let B02 because whit B03 have much trouble white the GSM Signal and internet. You know comes Android 7 soon?

The link works great, but I think it maybe won't work on mobile devices.
It's from here
