Did you look? That index is pinned at the top of the general section, very easy to find.

Guys,
Looking through this thread, it is becoming increasingly hard to find the latest builds from our favorite chefs; JesusFreke/Haykuro/TheDude.
Could I put forward a suggestion that we create some Sub-Forums, moderated by said chefs, for there builds/news/related questions. This might make it easier to find the info we need.
Just a quick suggestion, wondered what we all thought.
Asked that from the admin and the simple answer is no =(
if you'd like you can create a thread, if you are willing to keep it updated, list all the cookers and their rom versions.
So to your question sub-forums will not be created, sorry.

Well no to sub-forums but why can't moderator like yourself make the Threads of new roms into sticky threads so they're always on top.

I posted a link to a list but a Mod deleted it. Not sure if it was because of general housekeeping or if it was because the list was on a google dev site.

So I tried to search the forums for help on this and didn't see anything, but if I missed something I apologize.
I'm trying to find a thread for someo one new to flashing roms and kernals for the Samsung Facinate. I've already read how to root, load clockwork, and backup my current system. Now I would like to start to learn how to flash different roms. Is there a thread anywhere that has this? Also I see a lot of roms with DI101 or DJ05 or different ones. What does this mean? I see my build ends in DI01. Is that what it is? Can I load roms with other numbers? Can I upgrade mine? I hope this gives you an idea of where I am. Thanks!
Up at the top of this forum you'll see a sticky titled Fascinate Sticky Roll-Up Thread **Check this thread BEFORE posting**
Also, since you are not developing anything, you should not be posting new threads here. Post questions in fascinate general
if u click the sticky tab (that's if your using tapatalk) there r many informative links to how to root - how to apply roms - a very detailed link to a list of all roms. Check it out also at any developers forum don't post a question in development. Always post those under general discussion. Or tips and guides if there is 1 that is named that goodluck
Thanks for the info on where to post. I'll use that forum going forward.
So I've read through all of those posts already and I can't find the answer to my question. What are the Di01, or DJ05, etc? Do I need to be concerned with them when choosing a rom? I though they were kernals but when I goto phone info I don't see that info listed under kernal.
Those are the baseband revisions.
The phone initially shipped with DH12, then was updated to DI01. DJ05 and DL09 are both leaked maintenance updates that haven't been released.
When choosing a ROM you need to be sure have all matching components (ROM, kernel, modem). So if you want to flash a DJ05 ROM, you need the corresponding kernel and modem
Was wondering if we can get a ROM section with all ROMs in one place?
That would be sweet.
The dev section is more or less a rom section.
I don't think a separate section is needed, but what would help is a common format to identify threads which contain ROM's. For example, starting a ROM thread with "[ROM]". Iced Glacier is an example of a ROM thread that doesn't follow that format and therefore doesn't stand out as much as it could.
Maybe a sub section within the dev area....
Have you checked out the Wiki?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/index.php?title=HTC_Glacier
Section 1.4 sounds like exactly what you are looking for.
Nice suggestion but no need to clutter the forums section as its already classified under Dev. Now I understand it maybe little hard for new users to get use to on what is what from thread title. But one must do research on howto and find it for themselves as if you brick it you are responsible for your own actions.
Best thing I can tell new user is they ask the folks in General or Q&A section to help them list stable roms and report their user feedback on pro/con about the rom this way you can get many input and ultimately flash it yourself and decide.

Oh nice.
Thanks
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA App
Realistically, seasoned users have no issues finding roms in the dev section, and new users shouldn't even be aloud to read thre dev section until they've been here for a while and have the chance to learn a little bit so they have a clue before they start trying to flash their phones.
What happened to the Nexus 4 Rom Index sticky thread?
I believe it was a sticky thread under development. It is no longer there, I can't find it. A google search shows it but shows that it was removed. Anyone know about this?
here, but its outdated http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2006616

Thanks for the reply, but there was a more recent one that was stickied in the development section. It was this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2439615
It has been removed for some reason.
As the title says, could someone link me to a thread that shows me those things? I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
Did you really not even look in any of the forum areas for this device?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/guides-how-to-guides-beginners-t3206928
No more need be said.
I did previously, but I was rushed for time and so decided to post this so that when I need it later it is ready.
Thank you for doing it though, I appreciate it
Its stickied right at the top of the general section. In all the device forums there will be extremely useful threads stickied at the top of each section. You can tell it's stickied by the TAC icon on the right.
Had you actually looked you should have found my guide very easily.
Very true
