Hello,
Maby someone can help me.
I Have a updated S150 (was previously an s100)
When i startup my care and the GPS SD card is in the GPS slot, the S150 won't start up (I hear a beep an see a black screen.)
I've already checked that the sd card is bootable (but he is not)
The GPS software is IGO Primo.
just to clarify
when the radio is powered on and you then insert the SD card it works fine.
Did you resolve this issue? I have the same after upgrading firmware.

Hi, I wonder if any of you have this same problem i'm having . I've loaded tomtom 5 (original software) on to my xda11 and the map's are on the cf card which is a Transcend 80x . when i start up tomtom the xda freeze's only a soft reset will bring it back to life, if i eject the cf card tt start's ok but with cf card out no map's , with the card in at any time trying to start tt it freeze's . I've also tried starting tt and inserting card but still the same. Has anyone got any ideas why i'm have this prob with the card?? i've also tried formating the card and re-Installing map's , Can you format it on xda?? STEVE.
you should rather have bought the sd card
please don't quote me but i think tomtom doesn't run well on cf cards
i think some1 will confirm or rubbish my theroy
Cheer's andy , at the moment my sd card slot is being used for the gps reciever so i'm only left with the vga/ backpack cf slot. I'll try another make of cf card just to be sure . Is there any possibility that the Transcend card is faulty?? . Thank's again , steve
as long as you can access it via your pc it should be ok
but as we've found out transcend sd cards seem to be the best for xda but not to sure about the cf cards
have you tried asking at pocket gps world they can definately sort out your problem
Thank's again for you're input ,i'll give pocket gps world ago . steve

Hi,
After my upgrade to the new HTC PT ROM I have instaled the new version of TomTom Home. So far so Good...
why can't the program detect my SD 2G card in the Device?
Only internal memory has been detected.
Thanks
WP
Have you tried formatting it. I use a 2gb card and tomtom recognized it with no problem.
Have you tried using the Sd adapted with your card and connecting it to your PC directly?
I have copied a orginal TomTom card to my SD 2G Card with my PC card reader, and, when i conect through activesinc my p3600 (to PC) and run my tomtom Home , The aplication just see the internal memory at Uper right corner.
Formatting it is not a option because i have programs instaled in it.
Thanks again.
WP
1. Copy content of SD card to PC
2. Format SD card with the PANASONIC formatting tool (see other thread)
3. Copy content from PC to SD card
This should solve your problems.
OK
I will test it and report the result.
Thanks
WP
I have exactly the same problem. Please let me know whether the solution of formatting help you.
Works Great for me on HTC p3600 !!!
and Kingston SD 2G
The tomtom Home Now sees the SD Card
Very Thanks man.
...but i still have some problems doing a Full backup with tomtom home software. Always popup an error when reading some files instaled in SD card by other programs
Sory my English is a litle bit rusty.

I did have the same issues when trying to make a backup from TomTom home (I didn't have issues with previous versions of TomTom home). I contacted their support department and this was their response (I did have to translate it):
At this moment it's not possible to create a back-up from a PPC with TomTom Home version 1.5. This will be adapted but at the moment we advice you to make a manual backup.
Then they explained how to make a manual backup which basically required a SD card reader. They didn't specify a date on which it would be fixed.

I'm Glad is not my problem
Thanks

I think only formating the fat32 to fat will solve your problem.
but first copy all the files inside the 2gb sd to computer and unhide the file which is hidden. all files must be copied. Thats all.
Hi,
After recently having endless problems with my original LEO (Not booting, bad reception, hanging), I bought a T-Mobile HD2, it is working very well except for one problem.
Every now and then the SD Card is not shown, this can be noticed when Icons on my Today that are installed on the card (e.g GPS), go missing, and a check on the File Explorer confirms the SD Card is not there.
I'm wondering if anybody else has had this problem, is it software/hardware or sd card related?
My SD Card is a 32gb it did not do this in my previous HD2.
Thanks for reading.

well easiest way to know is to try another sd card just to be sure where is the problem... otherwise backup your data on current sd card and format using SD FORMATTER

Hello,
I have an HTC HD2 running CoreDroid 1.6, but when I ejected my microSD card, to put some music on it, it suddenly (accidently) got formatted by a program I was running. Now, when I put it back in, the phone can't recognize it anymore.. It does recognize it as an SD card, but the phone still says there isn't enough space on the phone.
And when I put in the SD card when the phone is off, I turn it on but the phone doesn't get passed the startup screen, it just stays there forever. But when I eject the micro SD card and restart the phone, then it starts up just fine.
Can anyone help?
have you tried formatting the card ?
I did format it again, yes. But no such luck.
I just did an update. I updated to HD2 V3. But it still wont start up when the microSD card is in.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I've already tried a reinstall of the coredroid 1.6 rom, but my microsd card still isn't working. The phone can find the card perfectly, but it still doesn't work.
You have more then likely not formatted it properly.
Use Panasonic SDFormatter...
Format: Full/Overwrite
Size Adjustment: ON
I bought a new MicroSD card today and put it in the phone, and it's still not working. But i'll try that program.
I formatted the MicroSD card using that program. Still not working. The phone does recognize it, but it just doesn't add up the space to the system and the phone doesn't start up while the card is in.
Hi did you resolve this?
I installed WinMo 6.5 with some themes and now my SD card is not seen on the phone
Hey guys,
I've searched for a while but can't find a solution for my problem..
After flashing XBmod-Yuki rom V 2.00 everything works fine (also with older NoDo-roms) but when I change the region&language settings into something different, there's either a restart loop or a storage card error.
I've tried several ways of flashing, including this way.
My SD card: Transcend 16GB class6. Btw, a 2GB Sandisk works like a charm..
Is there any help out there??
Kind regards...
It could just be the card, SD cards seem to play a huge part of wp7, there are many problems that can crop up, sometimes you might not see them until you fill up the card to a certain level or the moon is full just depends... Not an answer but a possibility
Sent from my HD2 using XDA Windows Phone 7 App
I think I had the same issue today, when I turned it on today, I had a SD Card problem. I pulled out the battery, re booted the phone, arrived in the main menu then.. it freezed! =/. I pulled out the battery, pulled out the SD Card and plugged it again and now it works fine!

Didn't work for me.
Unfortunately, everything's fine after a hardreset but with a reboot (manually or to make an update/flash a cab) there is this storage card error!!
before you do anything after a flash, sync with zune and dump a few hundred meg of music on it, my card is unstable until i do that.
HD2 does not recognize a brand new 8GB Sandisk.
Any help please - my phone does not seem to recognize any SD cards anymore since I installed WM7.
I even bought a brand new 8GB card, and the phone does not recognize it at all.
The 4GB SD card that used to work fine, is also not detected anymore, but that could be due to it being encrypted now _ although I formatted with the Panasonic SD format tool.
I put 4GB of music on it - no (positive) effect...
