Can anyone share the .zip installable versions of the latest Moto Camera and Gallery apps ?
I am currently on rooted RR rom, and was looking to install the Moto Camera and Gallery apps.

I am using Moto Camera.. and the problem with that is its not saving my pictures on external storage. Anyone knows how to save my photos on external storage ? There is no option to set storage option.

Hello fellas,
need help!
All my photos form my Camera folder are gone.I checked sd card they are not god damn there.!
I just installed camera 360 (installed 1st tym a 3rd party camera app ),took some photos,enabled GEO TAGGING.And when i mounted my sd card all my earlier photos were gone,folder was just showing the images which were clicked by the camera360.
WHERE MY ALL PICS GONE..??
i got around 200 pics now its just 40 left..
anyone experienced that before...??

Check ThE thmbnail folder ir mount sd card on pc and enable to show hiden files and check then if you find them make a backup and format your es card and mount on your phome once again and reboot then upload your pictures and files again.

checked thumbnail folder nothing found.Bad luck...
Mount sdcard to PC and use databack, undelyte or data restore software to get back pictures

I got my GS4 in Australia and recently flashed the latest HongKong stock rom. Everything works fine except the gallery app.
I am using Sandisk Ultra 64gb sd card. I have put some photos and songs into the sd card. Most of the songs are shown in the music app, just a few are missing.
However, all other photos in the sd card do not show up in the gallery app. In "My Files" they do!
I have tried re-format the sd card, using another sony card, reset the system and even exchange for a new GS4. This problem still keep annoying me.
Does anyone have any solution for this?
Update:
I used to unmount the sd card from the phone to transfer files. But today I used the usb cable to connect the phone directly to try see whether the problem solved. However, I found that there is some problems that are not related to the card. I am using Windows 8. There is pop-up window when I was transferring files into the sd card part. It is basically asking me whether copy the files or not because the device may not able to play or show these files. But I am just putting normal jpg files. What's wrong with that?? Is anyone know how to solve the problem?
Solved:
I get the problem solved by re-formatting the sd card using my S4 and I must use usb cable to transfer files so that all files are visible on my device. But it is too strange that they are invisible if you use other methods.. Also when I was transferring files, the windows warned me that those files may not able to view in my S4 and ask me whether to copy those files or not.
I just cannot understand what is the problem.

do you have ".nomedia" file in the folder where your un-shown pic located?
if yes delete this file

I did not root my device. Can I still see that? but anyway I did not see any similar file in my sd card.

No... checked it a couple of times.
It is a directory called Photo's wit a couple of sub-directories. Strange because Quickpic gives no problem. But I want to use Gallery on my S4.

Thanks for the help M8 but it doesn't seem to work. Only Quickpic works. But as I told you I want to use Gallery with all the features in it.

It is really strange. Even my Music Albums from the sd card show up and photo's do as well in Quickpic.
The only problem is that Gallery does not access my sd card.
Solution would be great!

Hi guys.
I recently switched from a 32GB SD to a 128GB one.
I copied all the content of the old SD to computer, and then copied to the new one.
Photos taken with the camera were saved on the external SD.
When I went to the gallery I discovered that ALL the photos previously deleted from the gallery weren't deleted, I had again ALL the photos. So deleting from the gallery simply deleted the picture from the gallery view, but not actually from the SD.
So, it seems that gallery can't delete photos saved on external SD.
I check permissions and gallery can save and delete from external SD.
No problem when saving on internal SD.
I used both http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/themes/moto-g4-plus-gallery-t3385992 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/themes/app-moto-gallery-t3492365.
Anybody has a solution for this?!

Yes, i have also the same problem, i tried cm gallery, htc gallery and many others but they all behave same, not deleting actual photo from sd card.

So I'm scared the only solution for now is to save them to internal SD and then move on external SD with a file manager....

Well you could just use a file manager like ES Explorer and go to DCIM/Camera and delete them manually.

I need my all media files (whatsapp and other apps) to be automatically saved in the external memory card! How is it possible! Pls. Reply!

Not automatically, but you can accomplish this manually with Link2SD.
HI, mi redmi note 7 dont save all te pictures in micro sd, only photos from the native camera and the downloads like music or apk, help me ??

Well, that's completely fine. Android usually puts everything you download or save in the internal storage. If you want your files on your SD card you have to manually move them or change the app's settings to let it save to external storage.

I change the settings to save all in my sd, but It does not work. When i used others phones with Android if it worked, automatically saved all in the sd, images from WhatsApp, music, everything, only un this redmi does not work

How old was the phone you had before the Redmi?
The last 3 phone before the Note 7 didn't automatically save files to the SD, you had to do it manually.
That's just how the last Android versions work.
