I experience a lot of fluctuation in the signal strength of the antenna of the Galaxy S. Without touching the signal sometimes drops from from 3 to 1 or even from 4 to 0...
Is this a know issue with this phone? My phone has stock firmware with one click lagfix (and root).

I have Saunalahti service provider which works in Elisa's network and the signal is very poor and I think this problem appeared after updating to .35 kernel. Now I have AuroraICS, but the same problem was with miui.
The AP is very close, I can actually see the mast and I used to have very good signal. Also weird is that signal can sometimes be like -98 dbm 8 asu, and suddenly at the same spot it changes to -107dbm and 3 asu or 0 asu. So what could I do? Is there any boost for signal or changing the air interface? Just feels like it's automatically changing something and that's why signal gets suddenly weak?
i had better signal strength with my s4 than my s5.
In areas where I used to get "service" on my s4, my s5 is getting nothing, no service.
Is there a network setting that I can toggle to improve its signal strength ?

Hi, I've noticed that my G6 in low signal area tries to switch to 3G or worse but with almost zero signal (no bars, only the icon) whether there is a "medium" 4g signal (1-2 bars), anyone noticed same problem? The easy fix is to force LTE only but it blocks completely the calls
