Hi, i've got a S4 recently and I noticed that my IR doesn't work
I've checked with another phone's camera if the blaster pulse a light, and it doesn't
Now I'm on CrDroid Marshmallow ROM
How do I repair it ? Do you have some tricks ?

When you got the phone, was it on stock rom? And if so, did it work in the stock rom?
blaster may not work on custom roms..on lite touchwiz sure it works but on cm ..depends
if the bugs of crdroid ir blaster is not listed maybe is your phone.but try touchwiz first
try other apps..lite any remote or smart remote(search the full apk)..maybe stock app not work on some tvs or something like that...

I bought this phone under the latest Lollipop, no custom recoveries
I tested Peel Remote but didn't work at all
So I switched to CrDroid, and the ROM supports IR blaster
I've tried a lot of apps, with no luck

Is it possible to use some of the Stock apks of the LG stock ROM in Cyanogenmod? How can the apks be prepared for and instelled in Cyanogenmod?
For me there are three apps I'd like to use in CM. First, the FM Radio app, second, the IR Remote app, third, the camera. The rest is not interesting for me.
Do you know any apps for REAL FM radio and IR Remote (with learning function)?

Not sure about CM10.2 - these are for CM11.
The FM Radio app to use is Spirit2 - it's very good. Stock FM app cannot work.
The IR remote is available for CM/AOSP in the Themes forum.
The camera to use is the Google Camera from the Play store. The Stock one won't work.

I have the S5 G900F, I would kill to get the MIUI ROM for this device, I tried this one but it stays on the samsung logo, tried factory reset etc, (http://itbbs.pconline.com.cn/mobile/51677737.html)
If there is anyone that is willing to port an MIUI ROM for the G900F I would be more than happy to test it, I dont care if the fingerprint scanner or heart rate doesnt work but I require the IR blaster, and yes I know I can MIUI themes but I really would like the full rom, and again I will be willing to test ports etc..

Im using Resurrection Remix rom for my S4 (i9505), ir blaster is working on many apps but not on one i want to use the most.
I want to use Suremote app

Problem is, when i use GPE rom port or any other rom that is based on original firmware, app is working normally. On custom roms it doesn't even if IR is working just fine.
Is there any way to force it to work?

So I've bought my G900F a while back and flashed cm11 because I've had it before the only problem is, there is no fingerprint scanner... is there a way I can add this with aroma add-on package?

No way to use fingerprint on non Samsung TouchWizz firmware.
Cm11 is outdated, have you tried any of the cm12 roms?
I'm running fusion right now on my s5 and it's pretty slick but I do restore my touchwhiz Rom every once in awhile for the few features it has that cm will never have. (I.e. Fingerprint scanner, better camera driver, etc)

Please, I tried so many customs roms but for stability reasons a come back to stock rom. I flashed the last 6.0.1 stock rom from Poland 2016-10-06.
Everything was perfect until I tried the IR (infrared) sensor. I usually use the "SURE" app. Today I tried so many others apps but anyone works! I spoke with other friends and they said the same: IR and reactivation lock it's not working anymore in this update!!!
PLEASE, someone have some advice to fix this ? I'm liking the battery and spend so many time putting my apps... I don't wanna change the rom...
