Wifi problem

Hi, is There any chance to install new modems without odin? I have a mac computer so I cant Flash via odin. I have tried heimdall and kies, none of them works because my Phone wont respond in the computer. Tried even With Googles file transfer.
The thing is that im a bit selective so I only found one rom that fits me, vision x II. Everything works perfect but i cant activate or use wifi. I really need my wifi cuz i have no signal at my Damn concrete apartment!

You can try do a FACTORY RESET:
- Make a Internal Memory backup
- From your home screen press the apps icon in the lower right corner.
- Find and press the settings icon.
- In the upper end of the screen press the accounts tab.
- In the bottom of the next screen press the Backup and reset button.
- Press the factory data reset.
- Read the info on your cell phone screen and hit Reset device.

I never connect my i9505 to damn computer , once only to root it first time
You can use "mobile Odin Pro" to flash full firmware , kernels , modems , recoveries and more. ..

If you flash any modem , make.sure it is compatible with the firmware version otherwise you will hard break you device!!.
One more thing ,,the moment you flash it ...your device will reboot to download mode , then in this point you have to hold the power button for few second till it turn off . After that turn it on , the Samsung logo will show up ....and it may take time untill it move to the mobile odin mode ,,,, just wait for the process...dont ever turn it off again otherwise you may soft break your device
Also mobile odin only work in stock kernel otherwise it will not detect your device . Thats why it won't run in custom rom that only run in its custom kernel like cm or what ever rom ... this is the disadvantage
But the advantage is that.. it will never trigger the flash counter .

Hye guys, I bought note 2 from malaysia. Been using it more than 3 month then my phone constantly freeze and one day, it brick overnight while I leave it to charge. When it turned on it just stuck on samsung logo. Hard reset is undoable as it only show "Downloading" in the recovery while in download mode it just as it is. My phone is completely stock, no root ,no flash ,nothing, just stock. So I try to flash through odin but it always fail with "no pit partition" no matter what firmware version I use, another usb port ,another computer is brought up the same result. The phone can charge fine with red light indicator and battery animation. Does anyone with the phone have the same symptom and manage to fix it?Im in uk and cant rma as my phone is malaysia only warranty from SME?

hai friend...
it sounds like your emmc brick... if that is the case, in my knowledge u have to change the motherboard... but maybe other members have different idea to solve your prob...

Root N7100
Hi,
I try to root my note 2 N7100XXUFND4 using Odin v3.09. I follow all the instructions but my phone still not root ( I checked using root checker and I got this popup said superuser stop working). I'm a newbie can someone show me how to root my phone.

If this was S2, there's a name that we called "bricked" and from the screenshot, it should be categorized as a "bricked" device and the only way to repair it was using usb jig or jtag when i was on my s2. But i don't know now maybe there's another new method available. I don't know this also occur on our note 3. Just keep finding the solution. Try flashing to stock firmware using odin. Can you enter download mode or is it detectable?

The phone will revoit. After go into download mod and flash à stock rom via odin pc

Help with hyper drive kik rls19

So trying to upgrade from Rls 18 to 19...when I originally did 18...i had network problems and no wifi.. This time same thing... But to get them to work on old version I had to install two different modules... I dont have them anymore and need to know where to get the exact right one... Plus I had to install it in a very specific steps... Don't remember that either... Any and all help appreciated

Tried that and WiFi still not working with new rls19..got data to work after entering in an settings

[Q]My Phone shuts down automatically.

I noticed that my phone shuts down every 15 minutes when i am not using it so i wanted to know if this is a sleep or deep sleep or it is the firmwate problem? And if it was a sleep i want to know how to turn it off.

You have not said what rom or kernel you are using
You also haven't said if you are using any mods like link2sd etc
You haven't provided any adb logcat of the restart
It would therefore be impossible for anyone to offer any support

I am on stock rom, stock kernel,no mods,and the phone SHUTS DOWN and dont restart.

Without a logcat all I can say is reflash stock rom via odin - if it still does it check your power button isn't getting stuck
It could be a million different reasons - without proper logs you will never know

you can flash the original stock rom or go to repair center and change power button, maybe it's the battery

try to flash a new firmware via odin op
