S4 Not booting, not charging. Help needed :D

Hello,
My friend has S4 VE (I9515), one day it just turned itself off, and now it's not turning on. I can't open recovery, download mode seems to work, but the battery died and - surprise - phone is not charging. Any ideas what can I do to fix it?

Have you tried a different battery?

Currently I don't have any way to get a replacement Will try it soon if I won't fix the problem

If you have an s3 battery, it will fit in an s4.

Okay, so I tried to run it with my Note battery and it worked. The system does not boot, but I can succesfully enter download mode. What else should I do besides replacing battery?

Yes, it does. But system still doesn't boot, neither does recovery.

Try re-flashing stock rom.

Additional language in the system

Is it possible to add a language that is not in the system without doing root? I mean use adb and grant application permissions like Language Enabler.

[Q] Update from 4.5.10 to 4.5.12

Hi
I have OSS 4.5.10 with TWRP, custom kernel and root.
What is the best option to update from 4.5.10 to 4.5.12 without losing data?
Make a backup /data in TWRP and restore after install everything from stock?

Download full 4.5.12, flash it in twrp, flash magisk right after, before first boot.
