Stock international rom for SM-N910A running a SM-N910F rom - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a SM-N910A model phone, AT&T variant with AT&T sim running on straightalk. I came from an HTC One M7 where I installed the international stock version of the rom which opened up things such as the hotspot feature.
I am looking to do the same with this device but am a bit confused on all the variants. I believe the SM-N910F is the same chipset and has the same radios in it and is the Europe version per this site (https://theoriginaloracle.wordpress...910-n910c-n910f-n910u-what-is-the-difference/)
So is it as simple as installing a SM-N910F rom or is there more to do than that?

looking at getting a Samsung Galaxy S5 and have noticed that they are not the same models. ie. G900I, G900F etc. could anyone explain the difference please. i am in Australia by the way. thanks
Basically the region and/or the cell provider. There's a list somewhere on XDA that goes over each model.

I believe all the ones that aren't CDMA?
From GSMArena:
Samsung Galaxy S5
Available as:
Samsung SM-G900F - for Europe
Samsung SM-G900I - for Asia
Samsung SM-G900K/G900L/G900S - for Korea
Samsung SM-G900M - for Vodafone
Samsung SM-G900A - for AT&T
Samsung SM-G900T - for T-Mobile
Samsung SM-G900V - for Verizon
Samsung SM-G900R4 - for US Cellular
Samsung SM-G900P - for Sprint
As for which one for Australia, I have no idea. I believe that for other devices Australia uses the EU model, so it's likely that one. But I can't guarantee it.
I'm from Malaysia but here have f version only and in Indonesia only version h

The official australian version is G900I since G900F doesn't support some of the LTE frequencies (700Mhz and 2300Mhz).

Search for 'Odin' in the forums and download the firmware from www.sammobile.com.

People really shouldn't flash firmwares that are not meant for your phone. While they might be 99% identical, there are some differences like the 3g/4g bands that the device supports.

I bought the G900F in Hong Kong and works perfectly well in Australia on Vodafone 4G. I also flashed the UK BTU firmware over the stock ZHU firmware and simply brilliant.
I think you limit yourselves buying the G900I version as the G900F has far more options for flashing stock firmwares, and works perfectly well in Australia. The G900I version reminds me of the S4 Mini (i9195T version) which was Vodafone/Telstra only and never received the 4.3 update, or any others for that matter.... Better to get a phone that has world wide coverage, than one that's limited to Australia if you care about timely updates.
FYi, if you check www.samfirmware.com, you'll see that the listed G900I is only Australia and Taiwan... G900F is everything from Europe to Asia.
I have the G900H in south America.
I bought S5- SM-G900F from Dubai airport and wanted to know if it will work in India/US
thanks for info
am just wondering if compatability of different models and 4G coverage
Thanks
I have a SM-G900F phone in Australia for last 2 years., and have no problems whatsoever.

No. Modem and bootloader from 900f won't work on a 900i.

How to flash stock EE ROM on my Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900F?

Hi all,
I currently own a sim free Samsung galaxy S5 Device model: SM-G900F. I'm on contract with EE in the UK and they're currently offering WIFI calling, but only on their EE devices. Does anyone know if I can flash the stock EE ROM on my S5 SM-G900F? and if so how I'd go about finding it?
Thank's in advance.
So I basically need to convert my SM-G900F into an SM-G900T. Is this possible?
I found this EE firmware. Should I be pretty safe flashing it? It has the same model number as mine but it's an EE firmware so I'll be able to get my WIFI calling. http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda/Galaxy+S5/United+Kingdom/
Yes, it's safe flashing it with that firmware.
Thank you.
The rom your link goes to is a 4.4.2 2014 rom go to sammobile.com and search for the latest EE rom for the G900F you can't convert an F to a T version either latest EE rom should be PDA G900FXXU1POD1 CSC G900FEVR1POD1 after flashing the rom you will need to do a factory reset on the phone

ok, you should be able to flash any G900F tar.md5 file from any country on it. You have the international verison of that phone and it has TONS of tar.md5's for it that will all work just fine. only signal difference you will notice is in the different radios that are in the different tarballs, other than that, they should all work the same
