Hi there! I have a Canadian Galaxy Note 4 on Eastlink and I am having a bootloop issue where the phone boots up perfectly if the charger is connected. But the moment the charger is unplugged, the phone immediately restarts without warning and keeps bootlooping. I have tried the following:
1. Complete wipe using TWRP and flashing all the stock images from sammobile one by one. No luck.
2. New Battery
3. CM13 official.
No luck. The phone will stay ON forever in download/recovery mode without the charger. But won't boot system until the charger is connected. Anyone have this issue before?

Hello, I met a very weird problem of my L720. Let me describe my problem: 1) Phone charges fine when Android is fully boot up; 2) If I keep the charging cable connected, and choose to restart or shut off the phone in Android, it will stuck at the battery icon at the very first boot screen, shown as attached pic, even if I disconnect the charging cable at this moment, phone is still stuck. I have to remove the battery to fully turn off the phone..
Plus, there are two very tiny outputs on the top-left screen saying: "Kernel is not seandroid enforcing. Set warranty bit kernel".
Before the problem appeared, I fully restocked my LL720 to NAE, then used Odin to flash root, then installed GooManger, and TWRP, then installed a customized MIUI.
Does anyone have the same charging problem with me when phone is turned off? Is it a battery physcial issue or related to the ROM I flashed? Your help is appreciated. Thanks.
It is an issue with MIUI actually (the ROM you flashed). Only way to charge is when is powered on and not powered off.

Random crash and Boot loop
i have a samsung s5 with lollipop installed.
The phone seems to randomly turn off.
The phone enters a boot loop until i plug the charger in.
It has happened several times, but i don't know how to reproduce the error.
It doesn't seem to be app specific, but it has crashed while using the following apps.
... When using the camera
... When using chrome
... When using VR zeiss
I have tried the following, but none of these have worked for me.
1. Wiped cache partition x??
2. Factory reset x2
3. Safe mode
4. Battery calibration, charged phone to 100% while off
Has anyone had a similar issue and been able to solve it?
Try download the official rom T-mobile and put in your device with odin.
i had the same problem. i flashed official stock firmware for s5 with odin and it fixed my random shut down and battery problems.
Get a new battery you probably got water damage

Hi All,
I am having a similar kind of problem like many others already stated but mine one is a bit unique.
My phone will power on, google logo appears, it starts to boot then nothing happens....it keeps on restarting the sequence but never completes the boot process. I can access fastboot, recovery mode but the phone itself doesn't start.
However if I keep it plugged to my wall charger it completes the boot process and I can access my phone, but if I unplug and start using it just shuts down randomly (1 min-30 min).
I have wiped cache, restored to factory already. Currently I am running 5.1.1 with no modification at all.
Any suggestion to bring it back to life is appreciated.
Replace the battery and I think it will work without any issues.
Nitin
Most likely the battery is dead.

So the thing is the phone can not be turned on while not being connected to a charger or USB on PC no matter how long I charge it. The phone bootloops after it is tuned on. I can enter bootloader but not recovery mode. It boots again once I try it.
Quick catch-up:
The battery was once replaced. After some time the phone started to bootloop. I fixed it by unlocking bootloader (by heating up the phone to get past the bootloop) and flashing a stock factory image after that. It worked fine for months until yesterday.
Anyone knows if this can be somehow fixed?
