Some questions about Firmware update

Hi,
I want to update my phone to Official Android Lollipop v5.
Can i install any other country's firmware on my device?
If yes then 'll this void my phone's warranty?
Can i get official updates in the future after upgrade*using other country's firmware?
Which firmware/update you suggest for my device?
If any problem occours then can i degrade back to previous version of android?

Try installing KIES3 and connecting your phone to the PC to check for updates
If none, grab a stock ROM for your model S5 from sammobile (No links allowed on XDA)
If the ROM is a stock Samsung ROM, it will NOT void your warranty so long as you use ODIN to flash it
Yes you can downgrade again by the same method
No idea about OTA updates, you'll likely end up with OTA updates for that countries ROMs

I have tried with Kies but there is no update for my country.
I 've also checked sammobile but i am confused about choosing the correct file.
If i get any network issues, how 'll i solve them?
I dont want to get into problems so need an advice.

You need to find a Generic ROM that covers your area, like in Eurpoe there is BTU for example there will be one for your region use that one

Goto Sammobile firmware section (Need to create a free account to download)
Enter SM-G900H into the device section to find your device
Click the dropdown list of countries and find your country, or any country you want a ROM from
Download it

Seeing as it has a "separate" recovery, it surely isn't, as we can't use anything but stock recovery. Not to mention, something as vaguely written as this should be avoided unless you're certain you know what it is and/or why you would want/need it. I'm also willing to bet this is the HK/CHINA variant or whatever, because they mention spoofing the "US" variant for Bixby to work correctly.

Prerooted yes, supported are 9550 9500. hk and chinese Phones! As best flash chinese XBL and ABL . are included in CP File

its modded for using ODIN with the Files. You can take for sure the Tomato v6 TWRP ROM. Both roms, included this one in thread are pre rooted

I'm sure these are for the Chinese snapdragon, with the unlocked bootloader. The U.S variant has a locked bootloader. We can't flash a custom recovery. So those with the U.S variants, don't try it.. lol

No, this is for only SM-G9550 (chinese and HK S8+) , they are qualcomm snapdragon variants

FOR WEEKS I AM DESPERATELY SEARCHING FOR HELP TO FIND OUT THE TWRP AND METHOD TO ROOT MY PHONE. i also became a registered member of this site Tomatolei. But still I can not reply or post. My credit it shows 3. Just guide me how and when I can see the download links.

Thank you very much for giving me the link for TWRP. I flashed it but not working, I can't reboot into system, it is getting bootloop in Recovery. Then in another forum I read that the kernal which is shown just below the TWRP in your screen shot also to be installed for working of this TWRP. So I once again seeking help from you to send me the link for this kernal N9500_twrp_kernal_QJ1.

Thank you Mr. kin201303 for your great help to get root in my Samsung Galaxy note 8. I succeeded and rooted my phone with TWRP downloaded the link you provided.
I searched for a custom rom for my Galaxy note 8 sSM-N9500 HK variant, and found it in the forum below

the problem is to download this rom you want Baidu account which requires a Chinese number to receive the OTP.

Can unbrick my smartphone?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 which got brick in a couple of weeks earlier. Now, I need to unbrick the device but I have no idea about how to find the device build number to download the correct firmware file.
I was log into SamMobile website and tried to find the correct one but with the device model number, it became a somewhat hard process because it displays multiple versions.
Please help me, someone, to find the correct firmware file to unbrick my device.

Go to setting then about then find your model number...Or find it on Mobile Box or back of your Mobile phone or Press nd hold power+volume down until download mode appears then in download mode check your model number.
After finding model number go to Sammobile or Updato then enter model number and then download acc to your carrier or country you are living.

I have a full stock firmware package (.tar archive) for the SM-G930VL TracFone/Net10/Straight Talk Galaxy S7. The firmware is recent and can be flashed using Odin v3.09 or later (for best results). If you still need the package, let me know. I'll upload it to my cloud hosting and get a direct URL posted very soon.

Ok, I actually found an Android File Host link for the TracFone/StraightTalk/Net10 firmware package for the SM-G930VL Galaxy S7. This package is actually Build No. G930VLUDU4BPL2_TFN4BPL2. I am very sorry for the misstatement. I had originally thought this was a recent build. However, I do have the most recent Verizon firmware package (SM-G930V), which will easily flash to the SM-G930VL using a current Odin version. This install will effectively convert the Net10/TracFone/StraightTalk Galaxy S7 to a Verizon Galaxy S7. There is an excellent conversion tutorial here in the device forums. (My own SM-G930VL was recently converted to the Verizon variant.) It also appears that the SM-G930VL can be readily converted to the factory unlocked variant by installing a recent unlocked firmware package w/PIT file via Odin.

(HELP)Download New Firmware

Hello which is the firmware I should download to flash through Odin. ?
I don't want to download any other that'd why I am asking

The main issue I face is that the battery is draining even if I don't use it. There are not apps in the background running but I am sure it will fix the problem.

CTF1 is the firmware you need if it's available. Check Samsung website.
